I really love this simple story, yet fluffy one. Take note that the slow burn tag is not a joke. The progress of the romance is slow because almost 2/5 of the story is about youth and innocence of these two girls' high school life. I think the story focuses more on life itself, but it's about the life of two childhood bestfriends who slowly grows up into adults and fell in love at the same time. Quick summary:

Pei Qingfei and Qi Cheng are childhood bestfriends. They were born almost the same time, and they group together. They're very inseparable that Qi Cheng became the public enemy (in a wholesome way guys) of their High School because these boys couldn't get closer to Pei Qifeng, their highschool's flower. Qifeng and Qi Cheng loves being together. Slowly, they'll realize their feelings for each other and fall in love.

What I really like about this story is the characters. You can't help but like almost all of the important characters in the story especially the main characters. The MC and FL are very smart, so the minor and major problems will not be an issue much. There will be dramas because life is full of dramas LOL. However, we don't need to worry because our Qi Cheng and Pei Qifeng are strong! They're so cute too! Seriously, this novel is too innocent!

You'll love this novel if you prefer stories about everyday life with slow burn romance. It made me cry many times because this story is too pure and touching! I think this novel will give me a large amount of nostalgia whenever I'll see the title or name of characters. Definitely recommended <<less

I fall in love with this novel, even if I read it using MTL.

The general plot is pretty straight fordward but the way author narrate or expand is the strong point that will hook the reader.

For anyone who like childhood sweetheart story from friend to lover. This novel is a good start recommended. There is a little drama (?) in the middle (If I am not wrong), but it wouldn't become so angsty.
