I’m really excited about this series! It has a lot of good elements I have seen in many other stories—a grand fantasy setting, hints at political and social intrigue, a main character burned out by life and looking for somewhere to die. This world is not pretty, the consequences of living here real and harsh.

Despite these dark tones, we see that the author has decided to focus on a simple relationship between two individuals, each broken in their own way, each with the potential to provide, perhaps, the healing that... more>> the other needs.

There is not much here yet, as I write this review at the 6th chapter, but there is already so much of value to anticipate.

I, for one, can’t wait to keep reading. :) <<less
