Mostly fluff, no real drama between the main couple. There's some revenge (?) in the first half but it doesn't take itself super seriously, so it's still a pretty laid back read. The second half is nothing but the MC and the FMC doing cute shit. The chapters are really short, you could read this in under 1.5 hours if you can read japanese. Also because a bunch of the romance JP WN translations are just edited MTL anyway.

My only complaint is that the end is pretty abrupt. I wouldn't have minded another 100-150 chapters of their married life.

Also I'm not sure what the dude who gave it 1 star is talking about. The MC did not need 3 years to realize where he was, lol. He knew within a few days, he was just having a hard time coming to terms with his circumstances. <<less

I really wanted to like this because the premise is right up fluff alley. Unfortunately, the author doesn't seem to have ever met a fellow human before because every single interaction is just so ridiculously unbelievable that your immersion is constantly broken.

The protagonist's maid is spying on him for the prime minister and constantly putting him down, but changes loyalties overnight and becomes his perfect super maid.

The female lead's parents mistreat her for years, but after two sentences from the protagonist, become normal loving parents.

The female lead's sister takes the female lead's only gift from her parents and rips it to shreds, but within a chapter, once again is turned into a normal loving sister.

The story is so short that it should be called a pamphlet, and it gets even shorter with how useless it is to read beyond chapter 80.

All the characters are very 1-dimensional, nobody tried to fight back, or those who have the intention to do so just completely forgot about it.

A very cute, silly, and predictable story with no memorable characters or moments.

I think it's entertaining. Much fluff but it just doesn't have much depth to it. The characters and their motivations, the intricacies of the plot, all simply don't go too far; it doesn't need to to be a cute short novel.

Could've been better but as long as you don't go in expecting a masterclass in writing, it's fun.

A fun light-hearted novel. No real drama. It's the novel equivalent of petting a puppy and I like it. :) Edit: I agree with the people who say that the personal interactions are unrealistic, but personally that doesn't bother me. This novel isn't trying to portray realistic relationships, it's trying to give us light-hearted fluff. If that isn't what you're looking for, please don't read it. There's no meaning to hating a banana because it isn't an orange
