Review: While I do enjoy the story, I've taken slight issue with the MC's personal physical weakness and lack of combat skills; he can barely do anything of any importance on his own, except apparently design stuff. Hopefully there's a change somewhere down the line. Also, there's a lack of the yandere action I was expecting ?. Or really any significant "action" of that sort in general. Again, I hope this changes later. I liked both volume 1&2, but the recent arc is kinda slow. Just my personal opinion, no... more>> need to take offence.

I really like this novel for its concept of the two moms fighting over him as each one of them says he is her own son... which I have not seen like this in a novel before. The next good point is that the protagonist is not someone who will be dense as a wall, for about 360 chapters only to start a harem in two worlds during the last 10 chapters of the novel, but someone who sets his goal of marriage allready in the about 80th chapter (which is atm... and with that foreshadowing iam not too sure what happens now but, , , its a surprise?! ;DD) The next good point is that that part of his family which was introduced (his mom x2) REALLY cares about him, , , (maybe a BIIIT too much but they have their circumstances so who am I to judge them) the strength of this careing is a bit too much but its still better than having them at the end of the novel as the final bosses like in some other novels....

the supporting characters so far are also rather nicely introduced with their backstory mostly matching them (IMO) and I hope that Nier will be corrupted from her perfect assassin/ bodyguard mindset so far that she will allow him do date her with the promise of letting all the slum kids work in the castle to save them from becoming like her

the major problem I have with it is that the protagonist.... somehow doenst have a backbone to do things he "needs" to do but is allways something like "mom can I do this?"/ "oh no my cute son u cant do that let mommy do that for you because mommy cant let u do something like this" / "okay mom if u think this is the best then I will do it like u say".... which is reeeaaally annoing sometimes... but with the background talk in the future about how this festival which is currently ongoing is the thing which will change him... iam hoping thats really the case or I would have to go down to 3 stars because even if he is not my favorite MC the concept of the novel is so good that I have to give it 5 stars atm

an interesting read. Characters aren't one dimensional zerox copies we've seen before, and plot is decent. Main character dies, then finds out he's caught between 2 rival nations. One is the elves, typical nature loving and traditional race. And the other is humans, typical progress and conquest driven race. Both sides are led by his mothers, who are also the leaders of there respective nations. Both are starkly different in how they lead, live life and view the world, but both love him and wish they could spend more time... more>> with him. At its core thats what the story is about. How he deals with the fact that he is the only thing keeping both sides from going to war again with one another, and adapting to the teachings, customs and view points of both sides. Translator is pretty decent too. Not many mistakes, and its pretty fluid. <<less

This novel is one of the better reincarnated stories I have read. With most authors rushing the development of the protagonist to give him/her incredible power it starts to get bland really fast. However Son cons protagonist is said many times to be normal. Weak even by most peoples standards. His standing in society is the only " cheat " of sorts that he has and it was truly refreshing to see a reincarnated protagonist that actually took time to adjust to the new world.

The story is about the life... more>> of Troy a prince of the Elven nation. True to the title of novel, his mother is a complete son-con. Now don't let this fool you into thinking that Troy is someone who just sleeps with anyone he fancy. The love is purely one sided and mostly comedic. He has his own love interest and the moments between the 2 are quite adorable. There is a larger story with many plot points being fleshed out that will have great impact for the future and so one cannot say this story is just for the sake of showing the readers how crazy his mother is about him.

Give this novel a try as it is by far the one of the better reincarnated stories floating around. <<less

When I started reading this novel, I was not actually expecting much from it. Just some light reading to chill out. It turned out to be actually really interesting. Main character at the beginning is extremely weak as for someone who served in Chinese army, you would expect bit more, though his non-combat role excuses him a bit. But as the time passes he starts to get into his role.

Another thing that I enjoy quite lot is politics. While this is not Game of Thrones, it is definitely something enjoyable.

For some time I've been a huge fan of series with yandere characters. Just because it feels really different from your usual types of novels, where hero is "stronk" and every woman he encounters ends up as brainless zombie, requesting MC love and affection. Other characters have maximum level in skills called "Cliche" and "s*upid behaiour". So series there MC is a - relatively - weak and his female partners are as cunning as final enemy in long-running series and/or just crazy (for MC love) is a breath of fresh... more>> air for me.

About "Son-con". Well in my opinion it has a good stability. MC is reincarnator, yeah, but he doesn't remember every little bit of information useful in this world and somewhat useless in former world. So no more soaps and shampoos or deus-ex-machina-that-I-need-to-happily-resolve-situation. His character is decent (not pe*verted kind nor "shy as typical JP character" kind), He got his set of values from former world in the beginning and they are bound to change. And they will. So no more static MC development. His moms are interesting too. Because they are so similar but so different (Seriosly, before I thought sadistic tsundere ~ yandere. Well, it not!). Other characters are good in presenting this world values about royalty, economical problems, wars and other stuff you may find boring in history class, but interesting here. Plot, in short, is good: not rushed (it's not an action) and not slow (it's not a slice-of-life). Read it, if you want to know more =).

In the end, decent characters, normal-paced plot and interesting themes author uses. So, good stability it is. And yandere here gives it more spiciness! <<less

The character development is mostly believable and the overall series is quite funny as it can keep me entertained for the most part but a lot of times I can't understand the actions the MC takes during different situations such as when his life is in danger but refuses to kill or when his goal is within reach but refuses to take it. Maybe because the author is chinese and I am not.

I think this novel is quite good as it try to stick to real world and at the same time try to blend it with fantasy. The only problem is that the MC have no strength of it's own at least for the early chapter, therefore it's kinda boring as you only see the action from it's surrounding compare to the MC himself. I mean, who doesn't want to see some OP MC especially after he is transport to another world

Some really solid writing. Even though I have rated this 4/5, this is Mango approved.

First off, I read this one for comedy, and that ecchi that comes with two soncon mom's. I wasn't disappointed. And I got a plot for bonus!!

The main reason I gave this only 4 is because the MC is a hypocrite. A big one at that. However, we have got huge foreshadowing to show that he will change and get better. Currently, he is the I-have-no-power-but-I-stick-to-pacifist-ideology character. And this is surprising considering that he was a... more>> soldier in his past life.

You have got some REALLY lovable characters, especially the potential harem. The best girl fight is gonna be tough, even though the MC currently is loyal to just one.

At one point of time, I compared the comedy in this to konosuba. Not anymore. Cuz the plot kicked in. However, this just shows that the author can put in comedy very naturally, a major plus. And this is SOME comedy. However, due to this, the filler is very easy to identify. At least, I like to call some chapters as fillers.

The future plot of this is so far not so clear, but that was never my focus so... And also, you get special uncensored chapters from time to time.=_=

This is Mango approved, and I rate it 4/5

EDIT: 16 chapters later, and I have to say that the story has taken a COMPLETE 180.. SERIOUS AND HECK!! However, I like this premise as well. I mean, at least the ecchi elements stay. I guess that the comedy elements, however, will never plausibly come back due to the direction this novel is taking. <<less

i personally think this is a great novel. It isn't the usual story where the protagonist remembers the previous owners memories but rather has to figure out how act in order to not draw suspicion towards himself. Although I do think that Troy contradicts himself and the story progresses slowly it is without a doubt an excellent and unique novel

Son-con is a rather particular piece of work that tries to astound the reader with unexpected twists and it succeeds to do that, the expectations you will have going in from the title don't just appear there is a buildup. There were times I was as baffled as Troy when things happened but I suppose it was character development, (Rome wasn't built in a day).

Edit: I believe most people who complain came for hentai and OP reincarnated MC (that is old) and were disappointed but a slow burn with plot... more>> is good but plebeians always give the same excuse "weak MC, no sense" of course that happens when one hand is going south and blood is moving away from your head. Son-con has some incomprehensible parts and like real life some parts are cringy ? But that doesn't make it bad.

TL:DR read son-con stop churning the butter and go outside or take some sunlight I dunno there is life outside 2d <<less

as you can tell from other reviews this story would be great except the MC is pathetic to a sickening degree. He's just about everything you wouldn't want a MC to be. Quite possibly the worst main character I have ever seen and that's saying something. Quite honestly his whole existence in the novel is pointless. If you write a novel about the boy from the veil on game of thrones when he was a 10 year old kid breast feeding from his mom. Gave him an even weaker and... more>> more pathetic personality. Had him go run into hostile situations by himself screaming and flailing around like a ret*rd. Then have some girl from his harem that he's to scared to do anything with. Come save him after he's surrounded and crawled up in the fetal position. Repeat this over and over with no character development. It would be close to this novel. I've also never seen a novel that was this blatant in rehashing the same thing over and over. Up till I've read its daily life 40 chapters. He gets kidnaped then saved 15 chapters. Same daily life slightly different 40ch. Kids get kidnaped then saved 10ch. Same daily life slightly different a little foreshadowing 40ch. His girl gets kidnaped then saved 10ch. Same daily life a bit different 40ch. Another of his girls kidnaped then saved. Daily like again. They also do this thing in the novel to express strong emotion. Where they say the same thing over and over then say it over again in different wording. For paragraphs that are 70 to 200 or 300 words long and its really drives the reader crazy. There's even one chapter (7.4) where the meaning don't let your family down. Is just said over and over again in different ways literally the whole chapter. Id think authors would realize no matter how well you wright the story if the person everything in the story centers around sucks and is annoying. Its not going to be a good story no matter how much you want to call it character development. People read for an escape not to watch a loser and a ret*rd become less of one by the end of 20 days of reading. <<less

No matter the hate as far as the story is concerned this one is a good read with good characters supporting the somewhat useless MC for the major part of the story. I liked the characters design and the story which made the novel enjoyable and addictive to read. The basic highlight of the story should be easily understandable by seeing the title. The novel contains a good night action package with some serious plot which may put you on your toes. I would recommend to not stop in midway... more>> when sh*t may get real and continue reading. You would definitely come to like the characters in the story (not including MC) :P. For me the world itself attracted me and the story made the journey much more enjoyable. <<less

I'm not saying this is good or bad but like everyone else I came here because I'm a pe*vert but I have to say Holy Crap, how is any uncensored chapter besides v2c50 considered uncensored, the translator even literally said that one chapter was half deleted to censor it yet it is still considered uncensored? I'm glad I'm not too heavily invested as if there were a romance tag I'd still read it but there isn't even a Romantic Subplot one so I'm personally not going to continue as I... more>> refuse to be c*ckblocked and not get to see any romance while potentially seeing a love interest bite the dust. It's an all right story, if im honest I started reading it cause of elf mom, but nothing has really happened with her which is kinda disappointing but apart from that it's an enjoyable but nothing really special about it, its still fun to read especially when elf mom appears.

It's a shame that there isn't any uncensured chapter after volume 3

The idea and the premise is great, but it was poorly written and the translation quality is subpar

The MC is nothing great, he is neither a genius nor an idiot, I'd say he is normal in a bad boring way, there is a lot of his decision that doesn't make much sense to me, from what I can see it is clear that his intelligence is very limited, tbh I'd much prefer if he was an idiot but funny and interesting instead, or a smart, logical, and modern person, heck... more>> a good writer could combine both to make a truly interesting and flesh out main character (good example is log of crazy lich), which is the exact opposite of Troy, the MC of this novel, I'm not saying that normal/flat MC is bad, but you need a very good skill to make them interesting, just read a few chapters and you should be able to gauge the Author's skills and know what you could expect from this novel, and so far it does never exceed my expectation

the only reason I'm still reading this is because of his mothers, their interaction is so funny although there are so many things that can be improved/polished, if only Troy was not a cardboard this novel could become gold just by fleshing out the story between idiotic moms with son-con and their son but the author blew it up and made a subpar novel even with all of the easily exploitable potential that the main plot has, such a shame

recommended? Nah not at all, still worth read tho imo, if you like a ludicrous and mindless novel to pass some time <<less

At first, I thought this was a Japanese light novel since the main character gets reincarnated into a different world and that he doesn't know cultivate the best technique. Plus he doesn't know how to accomplish everything like the main characters in other Chinese novels. In fact, he's pretty weak. I have heard the main character would develop and change from his current mindset in future volumes. So that's something to look forward to. All in all, it's a decent novel.

This is real deal. Auther didn't hold back when writing. A sweet home Alabama story. This should mention in*est genre.

If you like this kind of forbidden fruit just hope in. Ignore the rating and other comments.

By the way story is good. Character development was really good, I enjoyed it.

I endured up to 4 volume but this ret*rded MC still not changed, naive, idiot, pushover, weak bit*h you name it.

This novel promise should be very promising if executed well, but the MC ruined all at least if he weak the author should make him ruthless or cunning not just weak, naive, weak bastard. You got two demi god moms and powerful fiancee and chose to stay weak ? Go f*ck yourselves.
