She got hit by the reincarnation truck and was reborn as the eldest daughter of a Baron.

A harmonious family. A lovely little sister. A modest estate.

She planned to live on as an unemployed, freeloading moocher who would never work anymore for the rest of her life.

“How on earth did this happen?”

“You don’t remember?”

“I do. I mean, I just don’t know how exactly it got to this point.”

“…Look who’s talking.”

But she made a mistake with the Duke, who’s part of the three most prestigious families in the Empire.

Well, it’s fine. Things happen. A mistake could just be evened out—there’s nothing to lose.

However, her younger sister got caught up in something dangerous that very day.

“Everybody will die when it becomes known that I saw it. You have to run away, Sister.”

I didn’t run away because of you, got it?

* * *

“No matter how you look at it, he’s obviously my child. Do you think you can fool me by lying like that?”

“Are you saying that I raised my child as my younger sister’s child just to pretend I wasn’t pregnant?”

“I didn’t say that! I’m asking you to admit that he’s my child!”

Five years have passed since then, so isn’t it about time to just let bygones be bygones?

This is madness.

“Still, it’s not like my son is without any fault. Child support will be given just as it should. Return to the countryside.”

The prospective mother-in-law holds out an envelope.

“I was very curious. Who was the one who took my light blue dress from the Duke’s room?”

The flower of society is talking nonsense.

“A union between Klausener and Aren is too dangerous.”

The Empress is hostile.

All I ever wished to do was to live quietly while making money. But perhaps I’ll have to kill them all to protect my kid.

The plot is getting messier and it was very unfortunate that the events unfold like a tragic story.

Looking forward to the upcoming chapters

After the confusing, garbled, garbage translation used for the comic version, I must say that reading Belle Reservoir's is like when the aspirin kicks in and the migraine fades away. Everything cleared up!

Anyways, I adore the main character, like the story, and find the ensemble well rounded and interesting.

At the beginning, I loved this story, so I decided to MTL myself and read it. It was readable, but the problem was that the plot started to get less interesting. The couple get together really fast and all the other plots didn't appeal to me, so I stopped reading... I don't think I will go back. It is a shame, because this has a really strong start and Belle Reservoir's translation is quite good.

The flow of the novel is quite good. The female lead is a sensible character but the author did the male lead dirty by making him no better than a fussy kid. He is written as an immature and shallow person, the only goal in his life seems to be using his immense wealth and position to make advances towards the female lead. He seems to have no job or aspirations in life other than her and, by extension, their supposed child (He is a character with no character). The... more>> other two second male leads are a bit better. They are still high-achieving and handsome, but are like dogs fighting for the FL's attention. But at least they show some respectable restraint. FL has no female friends and always seems to be in control of every situation with minimal effort. There is no struggle nor character development. With a bit of effort from the author, this novel could have been much much better. It has a good premise and setting, but it is all for nought as the author seems to self insert her fantasy as a do-no-fault female character here. Overall, this seems to be a fantasy of the author who wants three handsome men swooning and fighting for her attention. <<less

The story made me happy so 5 stars (im a simple person). I love fluff moments and can't stand angst.

I was like this reminds me of the villainess lives twice but more fluff and less political schemes (which is what I was looking more in TVLT ;-;) AND MY OH MY! Just found out they have the same author!!! As usual, the writing style and translation is superb.

I love love their banters so much!!!!!!!!!!!! The fluff domestic conversations warms my heart so much 🥹🫶 also why is FL surrounded by... more>> hot attractive men???? Give us some girl 😆

Really looking forward to what the story would bring us in the future! <<less

It sparkled at the beginning. Everyone is quite smart though so the misunderstandings didn't last long. After that, it's just political maneuvering mostly with a very flirty couple. Characters aren't completely black or white and most are competent enough in their given roles. But with the MC not really suffering from any setbacks and their married life being so perfect, it somehow makes for a bland read. I've seen fairy tales with more exciting developments.
