This is the second novel that I read which have beautiful-ugly pair.

At the beginning, their playful sarcastic banter was enjoyable. ML was an old bachelor which is neither mature nor kind, thus resulting in him being act as low as teenager like to bully their sweetheart pattern, but towards the middle, their intimacy escalate like nuclear bombing, fortunately it is still at the border of skinship, which is if you think about how ugly the other partner you will think ML is too hardcore if he is able to do... more>> 'that'.

Despite of, im really wondering if the romance between them is really too far fetched or not. There are mainly 2 reason. First is the skin condition of sarcoma and the second is called melanoma.I actually google them when I was reading earlier chapter because I was curious. Melanoma look like big dark spot while sarcoma is bulging thing and the description on the novel is sarcoma filled with bloody pus. This might be the ultimate choice of physical ugliness beside bumpy skin and crooked teeth.

Towards the middle end when ML realized that he like MC there's written that ML now even feels the MC's sarcoma are cute. This statement bangs me so much. Is it truly possible?!!you can be indifferent, but to say that a face full of melanoma is cute??!!This is truly the new high of besuty is the eye of the beholder and new low of fools in love.

Beside of this aspects I have no complaint with the plot, its intriquing enough to keep you reading. Just that the romance part is so noticable and highlighted repeatedly in the story that I feel helpless not to discuss it down.

Ps:I hunt these kind of story so if anyone know of other title please kindly recommend it to me. Thx <<less

Omg! I will say this novel is crazy good. Really! MC and ML are disgusting. They love to prank each other in a disgusting way. There are some mysterious elements about mc's past and as it slowly unreveal it will blow your mind because I really can't see it coming. You can predict what can happen in some novels but this one I really can't. It will make you to look for more.

Will be edited further. Yay finally completed.

So yeah, I still insist to give this novel 5 stars. Really!... more>> As I said earlier its difficult to foresee the plot. That's why its so enjoyable to read. I noticed that the author love to play with timeline. If you read the author's other novel "number one zombie..." (dang forgot the title) you will know.

In shot, this novel is great, give it a go. <<less

This is my first time making a review (sorry for the wrong grammars and spellings btw). I really, really love this story, one of the best actually. It healed my soul, I finished this story for a year now, and I wanted to read it again, (well, I love ML/MC who loves the Mc/ML because of his personalities, I have a complex feelings for some ML/MC who fell for the others because of his/her looks. I mean it's not about beauty. I'm sorry for the rant) I'm really insecure... more>> about my look (I bet some of you will say, no one gives a f-ck about my feelings) I just wanted to say, Let's give this novel a chance, and the thing about his face, how ugly and disgusting he looks, well for me, when you are in love, you'll find everything attractive to your lovers (well in my case, I'll accept everything about them). Well if this novel is not your taste then, everyone has different tastes. Btw, I'm really touch about Dongling Ce although he's a bit rude when making fun of Bao Ye, but you can see that he really loves him in the later half.

Anyways, Great Story, Great Love, Settings, it's interesting and really Good! (人 •͈ᴗ•͈) <<less

Good story, great writing... but that face...

Story:

The world setting is a contemporary/ future setting with cultivation. There are three plans: top world (pure breeded gods), middle world (semi gods) and lower world (ppl without power or less power than demi gods and the demon clans). The middle world ens*aved the people of the lower world for their own gain and the life there is basically hell. A person's life is worth less than a sip of water.

MC is a good guy semi-good that time jumped from 30 years later.... more>> In his own time s*avery was already abolished and he lived in the middle world. His foster father often told him about the bad times, living as a s*ave, surviving the gods games and so on. The reason he jumped was that he saw the gods kill his friends. He wanted to jump back 6 month to save them but for unknown reasons he landed in a time 30 years earlier when he wasn't even born. More confusing... he can't get out of this body to jump back. Well... since he is already here, why not help his foster father to change his history and maybe find out who his parents are and meet them. If only it wasn't for this body....a s*ave even hated by other s*aves and with disgusting sarcoma all over his face.

First, I like MC and ML character. Both are morally good people but not too good, if you know what I mean. At the beginning, ML skids the line of being an a**hole, he is a bit... well, read and see. MC is a person that does good but has no problem to do bad either. The way they interact is rather fun. I do like that there is communication between them, especially after establishing their relationship.

There is one thing that annoyed me... the "sarcoma problem". It is rather early revealed that it is not a natural thing but a curse. I do get that this part was important (somewhat) to the story but it really made me grossed out sometimes. That damn curse stuck around for 3/4 of this novel. On the up side, ML is the poster boy for falling in love with the inner person instead of looks.

All things considered I was good entertained well likely read it again. <<less

Beginning part is dark but interesting. This is the author that also wrote Number One Zombie Wife - a story that I love.

MC transmigrates into a small villain character that everyone hates, he only has enemies. Seems there will be a lot of adversary that MC will have to overcome. Only read up to chapter 2 so waiting for new updates.

I remember reading this on another app and it was sooo good but the updates sort of stopped and I couldn't continue reading it on MTL because it was so confusing. I'm glad it's being picked up again.

This is a very good shounen Ai/Yaoi. It's funny and intriguing. The couple has a funny and cute banter all the time. It is also very different from other transmigration stories.

The plot is also good and the pace is good for me. No instant falling in love.

I couldn't help but stop reading the RAWs just to make a review.

This book reminds of of Demonic cultivation (not accurate tittle will change later) due to its in depth plot and interesting character development/interaction.

This novel is basically cultivation world but more focused on the lower world rather than the process of cultivation to get to the higher level.

Other Reviewers already describe their relationship I won't repeat so I'm just gonna give my thoughts. This couple is really great. I love it so much. There's no abusive relationship between them... more>> although they do fight occasionally and sometimes it's with silly things.

I gotta say although the romance is great. I love the plot the most. There's so much mystery going on around the MC that I was really impressed. When plot relevance were mention happened I was really happy at the outcome. It's soo good. I can't tell you how much I enjoyed it.

Although I say that it has deep mystery. There wasn't much like heavy investigation like demonic cultivation does. Only when it is necessary. Most of the time the MC spent building karma for future events. Karma has a deep relationship with the MC as well which will be obvious later on.

I could go on about the plot for ages. It's still small chapter that has been translated but it's still enjoyable. I hope that everyone can read this and support the translator as well as the author. It is that good guys super recommended. <<less

I really liked this novel. Read the translated chapters up to 102 and MTL the rest. Ah, the MTL was painful. I didn't get the gist of everything so would like to come back to read the translated version if it ever comes available.

The plot is complex and MC, Bao Ye, has a fun personality. ML, Dongling Ce, has a unique personality also. He's a lil bit of the typical cold ML type but has a few more layers. The interactions between MC and ML is off putting at first... more>> due to their uneven power balance but it becomes cuter as time goes on.

MC traveled back in time to prevent his "brothers" from dying. However, instead of going back 6 months, he ended up going back 30 years. He enters the body of a s*ave.

He tries to figure out how to correct the problem but finds himself immersed in the s*ave's life. He is basically contracted out by his master to work for ML. ML is a mysterious person who has been hiring s*aves to dig a pit for years. MC finds that far below the pit is a powerful aura. MC wants to get the item when it is dug up.

Through a series of events, ML takes notice of MC and has MC work near him to relieve his boredom. Their interactions are uncomfortable at first but later become closer and cuter. ML starts having feelings for MC and being protective of him.

ML wears a red string on his wrist. There is a hair in the string and it'll glow when it is near or associated with the person he is searching for. ML's string glows cause MC's soul is the soul of the person ML is searching for.

MC's soul used to be the emperor of time (ET). He can travel through time and space to change history. ET found out that the ancient gods would disappear in the future. Since he loves ML, he seals ML to prevent him from disappearing. He also seals ML's pen*s to keep him from being with anyone else. ML was finally freed and looked for ET to unseal his pen*s.

Before ET disappeared, he put his soul in a clay doll... who became MC. At that time, MC was cursed with the sarcomas. If MC does bad things or thinks of bad things, the sarcomas grow and eventually he loses control of himself if he has too many sarcomas. If he does good deeds, the sarcomas shrink and disappear. So over the ages, MC has died due to his exploding sarcomas. A piece of himself is left and grows to become a human but will temporarily lose his memories of the past.

MC had gone back 30 years but 27 years earlier (57 years in total) MC was also alive. He had led a s*ave rebellion and died before it fully succeeded. This time, he led a s*ave rebellion and it succeeded. He also passed on the sarcoma curse to a villainous god and married ML.

Don't be mislead by the cover! I thought this was a gang-type, fighting highschool type novel but it's not. Always skipped this because of that but it turns out that it's far from that. This is a fantasy novel about s*aves, different worlds, gods and demons.

It's a really good novel. I especially like the start to middle part of the story.

It's exciting to see what MC would do next and I also really love the banter between MC and ML. I love how they tease and try to get back... more>> at each other haha

I saw comments saying that they didn't like the ML cause he "bullies" the MC but on the contrary, I really like the ML plus he "bullies" the MC but it's more of teasing the MC. He knows MC has powerful divine power too so he teases him a lot.

Plus, ML might tease MC but it's undeniable that he's a good person.

I really like the first parts of the story because it shows the development between the MC and ML, their banters and everything!

I fell in love with this novel because I like the personality of both the ML and MC. I love their dynamics, how they interact with each other and how they fell in love with one another. I was happy when I read the MTL because at first I thought it would damage my brain cells but it did not 🤣. It was really easy to understand and follow the flow of the story even with MTL

I had a great time. The story is great and the characters really interesting. The story is well balanced in terms of feelings we can go from laughter to tears then to anger. The MC and the ML are both amazing and a lot of fun. They go very well together. It's a must-read novel
