Yin Liuming suffered from severe insomnia, and when he couldn’t sleep, he became irritable.

To solve this, he signed a contract with Shen Lou, the book spirit of the Nightmare Game illustration book, voluntarily entering the game. He offered his body as a sacrifice to collect monsters in exchange for a chance to cure his insomnia.

And so, the players in the game discovered that this newcomer who partnered with them was a two-faced person.

During the day, Yin Liuming was gentle and humble, winning people over with his integrity. He elegantly subdued the monster as he remarked, “A two-star, mhm… I guess it can barely be used.”

At night, Yin Liuming was violent and easily irritated, subduing monsters with brute force. He would beat and tear apart any monster that dared provoke him, then ruthlessly add it to his illustration book. “Three stars, useless.”

Other players, exhausted and struggling to survive, watched Yin Liuming’s performance. Their faces change from shock to numbness.

After another morning of grumpiness, Yin Liuming nearly destroyed half the instance.

Shen Lou smiled. “You want to sleep? I can help with that.”

Yin Liuming glanced sideways at Shen Lou. “You’re stronger than a five-star monster?”

“You can give it a try.”

Then he did give it a try.

Soon, Yin Liuming realized that Shen Lou was indeed more powerful than a five-star monster.

In every sense.

In the past, he had terrible trouble sleeping. Now, he has trouble getting out of bed.

He initially believed Shen Lou wanted his body, and it turned out that Shen Lou really did.
