MC is a fool.

Her husband cheated on her and wants a divorce, and all she can think about is if he ever loved her. Obviously it was a 7 year marriage but it doesn't take an idiot to realise that if your husband cheated on you because you can't have children, then he doesn't really love you that much. Also she has a problem realising how her parents and her in laws treat her. They treat her like crap but she is still a doormat.

Also ML is a bit if... more>> a loser. He let her go 7 years ago and can't forget her. From a frank perspective, he is a stalker. From a romantic perspective, he loved her that much he couldn't let her go. But he did. He could have gone down the yandere route, but instead he took the loser route. Moping around and keeping an eye on her until she divorced and then approaching her. Lame. <<less

Lol I regret reading it. I didn't want to leave it unfinished so I read the whole chapters but what's with the incomplete ending. I have never given 1⭐ to the novels I read but this book compelled me😒. MC of this book is the worst and most infuriating character I have ever read. Omg her husband cheated on her but she still think of asking him if he ever loved her, 🙄bit*h he literally gave you a divorce letter all because you couldn't conceive his child and cheated on... more>> you. Do you need his answer. And it doesn't end there, her ex husband hurts her multiple times and every time she promise herself that she will never look back and live her life proudly and never give in to him lol but again in next chapter whenever she meets him she thinks "oh I missed him, did he ever loved me I should ask him bla bla"🤮. After she become pregnant with ml's child she thinks of getting back with her ex and take this child as her ex husband's and fight with her ex's lover🤦. She only thought that for a short while but still who would think this much for a douchebag ex husband. When ML withdraw all his investment from that bastard's company after she left him his company goes bankrupt and when her ex husband mistress calls her to blame her for this, her first reaction is not to feel special and sweet toward ML because everything he did was for her but her initial reaction was "is her ex husband OK"🤯. This MC seriously need mental check up 😂. Let's not even talk about her money gobbler family. Poor ML should have left her and find someone better. And ending is rushed, everything is left unanswered, poor writing. <<less

There were a lot of bad reviews but this was a dog blood novel so I thought it was normal as most tends to hate it. However this one... I swear I tried my best to understand the characters but it's too bad. This novel felt like someone wanted to be in a ceo novel but didn't know reality.

A lot of scenes are forceful and characters a bit dumb.

I'm NOT saying it is cus I dont know, just felt like it.

But reading it as a standalone, its quite fine, really fast paced. Literally jumping from one scene to another, even the dialogues are short and direct to the point. But personal preference, I quite like fast stories so this is fine for me.
It lacked world building and characters weren't fleshed out (again if this is a standalone story) so you're left questioning, how did things happen before? It feels like a solid draft/outline of a melodramatic story that can span to more than 300 chapters. It has enough of all melodramatic elements but it wasnt fleshed/stretched out making it a fast read. But I dont know if I've read an incomplete raw or something because it ended abruptly. As of review, 24 translated chapters available so I'll just wait for it.

Overall, if you want a dogblood plot but cant really handle unnecessary drama, then I recommend this one for a quick read.

Story was lacklustre, lots of characters and plots that went nowhere... Basically FL is cheated on and ends up being forced to divorce her husband. She ends up with the ML and there's just a whirlpool of scenes where there's meaningless drama and the ML's grandma trying to get them hitched faster with marriage and a kid. That to be said there are fun characters, e.g., ML's grandma, but honestly doesn't add to the story overall besides some mild amus**ent. ML loves FL dearly and FL seems to love him... more>> too but it's kind of meh? There's no real progression and it feels like the story goes in circles. Ending was unsatisfying too, leaves a lot of plotlines unanswered and it feels like the story was axed or cut short. If it had an epilogue or other volume, it might have been different. <<less
