Fourteen-year-old Su Bei almost died when she caught a high fever, got transmigrated into another world, and finally figured out a shocking truth—it turned out that her original world she was just a novel and her whole family were villains.

The woman who gave birth to them was the cannon fodder in the novel. She and Su Xiaobao were written like this in the extra chapter: One was a little bastard who tried to bully the male lead’s daughter and eventually got thrown into prison and the other one became an escort who, after having failed to seduce the male lead, was killed by an evil director. They also have a dad whom they never met and was the biggest villain in the book.

Back to her original world, the first thing Su Bei did was to take Su Xiaobao and find their father.

Su Bei: Su Xiaobao, quick, call him.

Su Xiaobao: Call him what?

Su Bei: Call him dad.

Su Xiaobao: I don’t want to, do it yourself.

Su Bei: Dad!

Looking at these two dirty children in front of him, Mr. Qin’s eyes showed disgust.

Hi entertainment value. An amusing bit of fluff where the kids find their dad and proceed to be adorable. Worth it for the fluffy and sugary cavities a fairly light read.

This is a 10/10 read for me.

It might be not to everyones taste but I loved this so much. If you like family relationship centric plots and heartwarming moments and this should be right up your alley. Even though the dog-blood drama is present with the single braincelled green tea b*tches, black-bellied scheming antagonists and your usual family drama, its not to the point where your braincells die the more the plot progresses. This one is a good light read with lovely and likable MC and characters (personally, I would've... more>> liked a bit more content on Su Xiaobao, or at least his perspective tbh). The (lack of) romance is also perfectly suited for me, loved that they focused more on the growth of Qin family more instead. <<less

Dropped at chapter 91 pt 1. I was really enjoying the plot being about family. But then now they’re trying to play up the creepy romance with Su Bei and the Lin guy. She literally hopped from one predator to the next. I can’t finish it. If anything Xie should’ve been the ML if they really wanted to incorporate romance.

I actually wanted to rate this novel lower but I was unable to change my initial rating. This should be a 2 or 3 stars at most.

The author has the tendency to brush off important problems like how lenient their father was in punishing the people who bullied his daughter as well as basically rewarding his mother with a villa after she kept on nitpicking on the MC. For whatever reason, the author still wanted to portray him as a good father when he was negligent through and through.

The deal... more>> breaker though was how the author wrote more about the inconsequential people around them (busy body school mates and flirty team mates etc.) instead of focusing on the plot. It gave me the impression that their literary talent was insufficient hence the side characters absolutely lacked substance and were portrayed as brain less and superficial people who can only simp on how good looking and rich the main characters were. Absolutely senseless. A chapter just to write about the comments of such insignificant people. What a waste of time. <<less

Very heartwarming story about a father and his fraternal twins children. It's very light and most of the revenge part is done by the Dad behind the scene.

I love the relationship of Daddy Qin and his 2 children. Although he looks less doting on his son, Su Bao, it doesn't mean that he doesn't love the boy or that he is less proud of him. It's just that he has the same personality as the boy and Su Bao is tsundere to everyone except his sister, and Su Bei is... more>> sweet on his Dad and brother. The romance is almost non-existent, it's more on familial love.

There are 4 extras, and I'm not sure if I like it.
Spoiler

Daddy Qin transmigrated to the original story, but he woke up and looked for the twins. They are already experiencing being cannon fodders, but Daddy was able to save them. On one hand, I'm glad they're saved but it felt so short. On the other hand, if he transmigrated to the original plot, what happened to the twin from where he came from? Did he die there or what? I think it's unnecessary.

This series is about a Mary Sue MC who knows the plot of the protagonist's life because she randomly translated to another world for a few years and read it in a book. The transmigration detail for the MC is unnecessary and feels contrived. It makes more sense that she would just have a long dream. Although she was bedridden the four years in the other world, meaning she was sick, tired, and barely able to move, she somehow had the miraculous ability to become a skilled pianist, hacker, and... more>> student during all this time she was sleeping and unable to move. This blatant plot hole is like a slap to the face. Not only is she OP with all of those things, she's also an OP cook, "beautiful" girl, and athlete. If anything exists in this world, then she is the best at it without question!

... Mind you, her real body is fourteen. People enamored about how "beautiful" she is are seriously checking out a little fourteen-year-old girl, and this happens every freakin' chapter, sometimes multiple times! She can't be beautiful because of her inward qualities but beautiful because she had pale skin, light brown eyes, and the figure of a stick. Please note her setting is that she and her brother were so poor, they had to save food by eating less and are malnourished. Even so, they have pale-as-death skin, apparently of good quality, without any chafing or tanning from being outside so often. The brother literally works outside in the evenings. Same for their hair. Before cutting down on food for growing teenagers, wouldn't it make sense to stop buying beauty products first?

There's a school flower competition the MC wins because she's perfect and can't fail at anything (boring). This contest enhances the stereotype of appearances and feels like it's giving many of these teens and preteens complexes about their appearances. Instead of celebrating diversity or taking turns for who wins every year, the richest stereotype always wins. Why? How is this fair? In the beginning, the series makes a big deal about students' mental health, and then this just throws that subject on its head. It feels very hypocritical.

Also, this "beauty" is the only reason anyone can feel attraction to another person. If you don't meet the standard "beauty" stereotype, then no one will have feelings for you.

By the way, the MC has a brother, but he would probably be better off portrayed as just her pet dog or something. He doesn't get much screen time and is heavily ignored. Of course, he's OP in everything but stands just under the MC. By the way, he's described as a total neat-freak but then throws his clothes all around the room... Even though he's never owned a phone before, he becomes the best at a game on the phone in only a few days! Honestly, it feels like the author just forgot his settings. There is a lot in this series that just doesn't make sense.

The writer could have made use of the twins and their relationship to get some excellent banter, mischief, and teamwork going. However, it often feels like they barely know each other even if the narrator repeatedly states how well they understand each other. The writing says one thing while portraying another.

The other characters are pretty unsubstantial, too. The ones that help the MC are OP, and the antagonists are evil without depth. The novel's protagonist, the MC's step-aunt, only gets a few lines, even though she's the cause of this whole series in the first place! Why?!

Spoiler

Even the younger half-sister barely gets a lick of attention. I hoped the MC could secretly become friends with her, but she gets treated even worse than the brother.

[collapse]

Like other reviewers have said, the sexism is strong.

The dad doesn't treat his kids equally at all. He spoils his daughter and is cold and abrasive toward his son. They're both his kids, so this favoritism is extremely weird.

The big plot is about how to create a good relationship with the dad, but his goes off without a hitch. They don't get into any major arguments and accept each other immediately (except for the brother, but his opinion is always ignored without question). There is no drama or naturalness here. Although there's fluff with the dad and daughter (not the son--the dad acts like he doesn't want the son at all), it feels unrealistic.

There's a really weird forced romance plot with a man who lusts after the MC starting when she was fourteen, and the pedo vibes are strong here. I recommend stopping around chapter 90 and skipping the romance chapters altogether. They were so boring and contrived, I had to skim them.

There are a number of answered questions in the end, such as what happened to a variety of important characters. The ending doesn't tie up any of the loose ends.

This series is okay as a light read but can also be incredibly frustrating at times. <<less

The premise is cliche and if you want a story that's fluffy and easy with a happy ending then this is your story! (Don't be fooled by the 100 chapters, they're quite short)

The dad's a nice guy, has my personal daddy issues stamp of approval.

The brother is also a nice and tsundere guy (of course), the dynamics between the family of three is lol.

... more>> Also, the story is funny. Not the laugh out loud but the occasional irony and thinking to yourself 'heh, lol.'

My only complain is that the story is too short and the other characters are basically mobs, we don't even see what happens to

. I just feel like it's a missed out opportunity.

Also there are a few and very insignificant homophobic comments (that's cuz they're straight tho they don't bother anyone it's just... they're straight), and that "you came back lookin like charcoal and you look eh" (to be fair, I think the author meant that their kind of face isn't suitable for darker skin tones, besides lil bro still got fans for the 'dark and handsome' thing goin on which is later). <<less

I FINISHED IT IN UNDER 24 HOURS!!!!

This Novel is Sooooooooooooo Good I almost can't stop reading this!!!

MC is Mature and Sweet but also Protective and Wonderful! MC's Twin is Wonderful Brother and they're sooo Close toward each other I LOVE IT SO MUCH!!! Their Father keep growing into best Daddy Ever!! He's Strict and Loving and Absolutely Wonderful Single Father Ever!!!

The Romance's existence in here is only appear in the last 10 chapters! So hopping for Romance is not Adviced! But the small Romance was placed Nicely though. Not rush... more>> or annoying. And only happen for MC. Her family member is Romance Free which is THANK GOD!!!

The story is have a Great Nice Smooth Pace! The way they grow the relationship around the new people. They don't make it big event or anything, but they make the pace really Great and you would just enjoyed every steps of it. The friendship around them is Natural and it feels so nice!

The way they 'Faceslapped' the people who deserved it was Spectacular in their own way and it was also Satisfying! The way they handle the Conflict was Absolutely Wonderful!!

The greatest thing in this novel probably the fact that there's no Family Conflict between MC and her Family members. They're Absolutely Great and Healthy and Caring toward each other in their own way and I Love the smooth sweetness so much!

Seriously One of Absolutely Best Novel EVER!!!! I LOVE IT WITH ALL MY HEART AND MY SOUL FOR THE ETERNITY AND BEYOND!!!! <<less

all good but like many novels out there it got boring in the middle to the end :/

Hmm I got really uncomfortable by the ML.. I think other reviews also said it, he’s a way older man in LOVE with a 15 year old.. sure he “didn’t do anything” until she “became an adult” but... and not only that, the author made her marry him right after graduating college lmfaoo

sure SuBei inside is older, since she kinda reincarnated, but still very uncomfortable.

Romance is in late into the story but it’s so sweeet!!! Honestly I enjoyed the story even without the romance. Seeing the growth of our MC and her brother, along with their doting father was satisfying by itself. Also the ML was secretly in love with her for years and watched over her by her side, so it’s not just a sudden romance. He’s so freaking doting it’s so cute. There were two options for ML and I didn’t expect the ML to be that person but I’m happy it... more>> is! He’s good for her. :) Satisfaction.

this is such a feel good novel. You don’t have to think much and suffer from annoying cannon fodders. Quality wish fulfillment, 5 stars~ <<less

Quite fluffy, but not particularly special in the genre. I considered dropping it at around 75 chapters, but decided to go on, just because I didn't want to leave the novel half-finished today.

I think there are quite a lot of good moments in the first parts, not including the Mary Sue MC, but it does get a bit weird or just bland after a lot of chapters, since it's just fluffy and OP MC on repeat.

I've seen some people saying the MC was selfish for not wanting her dad to... more>> get a wife, but she's a frickin child... Even normal children have insecurities, what about the MC who hasn't seen her parent in 13 or 14 years?

I've got to say though, the ML (who disappeared in the first half of the novel) didn't really meet up to my expectations though. I'm fine with with him not existing for almost 90%of the novel, and his personality isn't bad. I was even quite happy that he realized falling in love with an underage teen was a problem and went to therapy, but the whole romance and fall in love thing was dense and unrealistic. I didn't really think that him staying in love with the MC was pedo-ish, or at least it was brought over quickly so I didn't really thought about it until I actually read the reviews. Even till now I'm not sure if it was actually pe*ophile (during the four year process) since it was brought over so quickly, without actually leaving any impression on me.

Overall, a very typical novel of the genre, perhaps it would have scored evn lower if there weren't any other "normal" novels for me to compare it with. Don't recommend it, but do as you like. <<less

4.5 stars. I enjoyed the story and funny interaction between characters :) but I think the writer should change the name of the novel and and the sittings as the MC's family look anything but villains (I don't like her mother tho) and former ML's family aren't even qualified to be villains they were defeated much easily for someone who was supposed to be a last boss

Edit: I finished the novel and the 2 extra chapters almost made me cry. It was worth the time I spent on it, if... more>> the writer removed the transmigrating into a novel thing, just use the dreams, fix some stuff and add a little more drama to the story this one might become a classic (masterpiece)

The biggest issues I find in the novel

Spoiler

The father favoring his daughter more than the son. It lead to funny situations but it's a little unfair and might cause tension in the family if it was real life.

The relation between the MC and ML. If this happen to my sister or daughter I'll call the police if I found a creepy uncle interested in an underage girl but in the novel except for being a little emotional and needed some counseling, the ML didn't cross the line. I don't think the age difference is a problem, it just started too early. The writer made it this way based on the MC's mental age but he/she forgot that the others in the novel only see her physical age.

The other problem is the stuff about villain former ML and MC's family. This one really needed more work.

A story about family and school life/teenage-hood, this novel is quite a short nice read, full of fluff, and somewhat cliche scenarios. I really enjoy reading the characters interactions but sometimes they seem to be quite 2D (especially Mr. Qin, the father of MC).

Some people may mistook the twins as the main characters but the story is actually about the female twin and she is our MC.

There is romance but it's mainly covered on the last few chapters, as the focus is more on family and school life. Lol enjoy... more>> asking 'Is this the ML?' every time a new male character is introduced.

Some things about the MC:

Spoiler
    1. She is reasonable. No questioning 'why did the plot suddenly change?!1?1!'
    2. Not dense. The situation is reasonable on why the MC doesn't realize ML's feeling.
    3. Super cute! Bro-con and later somewhat dad-con.
    4. Sometimes she acts 14, sometimes she acts 18, which I think made this somewhat realistic and makes sense.
    5. Probably the perfect example of Mary Sue. The usual beautiful, smart, rich, talented, has a lot of OP supporters, loyal and doting ML, and fully equipped with female lead halo.
[collapse]

Overall a solid light read except for some repetitive ideas in the story.

Spoiler

MC was looked down upon, and proceeds to sooner or later face slap the other party. There were at least 5-7 times of this in the whole story.

[collapse]

However, I think the writing and pacing is quite good; the existing ideas are also neatly covered and tied up. Wishing the side story to be continuation of the main story though.

The translator is also a huge plus. So thank you translator!

I would rate this 4.5 <<less

Honestly, I was very excited to read this cuz I hoped for very fluffy book with a great relationship with the dad but I was kinda disappointed with it.

The first half was fluffy and cute. If you ignore the heavy OP MC with amazing hacker skills and a twin brother who is a tsundere and acts as a backdrop - You will enjoy it. The Dad is a huge daughter-con and it is shown thoroughly throughout the novel, This is because some reviewers have implied in*est. There is NO in*est... more>> - Just an overprotective and inexperienced father.

The plot is not very strong but the meng and fluffy moments cover it up. The only thing I am very dissatisfied with is the ML like many other readers. Their romance was just awkward and the whole story would have been a 4star without the romance. The alternative ending was a gem.

So the 2 stars were removed for the lack of in-depth characters and the ML.

I would suggest this novel for a light read as long as you don't think much about it and just enjoy the father-daughter relationship. The father-son relationship could have been explored more but the author was too focused on our protagonist with her golden luck they prolly forgot other characters existed.

Story - 2/5
Translation - 4/5
Characters - 2.5/5
Fluffy moments - 5/5 <<less

I love it! Family dynamics is so nice! I also want Su Xiaobao in my life. MC is quite OP here. Beautiful, Smart, Pianist and A computer expert! And what's more, her ambition is nonexistent! Instead of revenge plots or overthrowing plots (although can't say the same with the father, go Qin Shao, we support you! Take down that dog!) she really just wanted to make sure that her and her brother can live a long life. And that's really all. And I love it.

It's simple but it didn't bore... more>> me. Their interactions are so funny and so satisfying. It's not a dog blood drama but it still has things that you would look forward for. Read this in ine seating. Had to lose sleep because of this but worth it.

The only thing I feel lacking is the romance. But oh well, they are still young. I'm satisfied with the fluffy moments with father and brother. They are so overprotective and so cute. They both fight for MC's attention which is again, so cutee. <<less

9/5 YESSS SHOOO GUUDDDD 😭😭😭
Spoiler

I just don't understand my self why the f*ck I hesitated to read this even tho I found it long long time ago😫

Okay. Here's my review!
Plot : 4, 8/5 it's not perfect but still a gem! The reason why I hesitated to read this bcs the lack of romance, but it's turn out I dont need a f*ckin romance at all!!! BUT THE AUTHOR STILL ADD IT WICH IS WHY I GIVE THE PLOT RATING NOT PERFECT! well, maybe some of you thought it was nice to add a bit of romance even if it's in the end of the chapter, BUT FOR ME IT'S NOT NECESSARY 😫😭 I just need wholesome heartwarming cute Little family😭

But still, I love it even if it's upset me a bit : (

The plot is goodd! I don't get bored at all! Maybe because I love the event so yes, I love this sm :)

MC : hemm. I think the MC1 is the sis (Qin Yue/Su bei/Xiaobei) she got a lot nickname tho :/ she's pretty marry sue, everything went smoothly in her way and I kinda love marry sue so why not?

And now let's talk MC2 is the bro (Qin Yu/Su Xiaobao) well yes, he was like a version of Su bei, wich is mean marry sue number two.
But the most I pity is, the story only moves around the sis, not the bro and I felt unfair for Su Xiaobao : (he was a pretty cute boy so :/

AND ABSOLUTELY I LOVE DADDY QIN SO MUCH BISHH LET ME BE THEIR STEPMOM PLEASE🙄🙄

Now I don't want to talk about ML who marry Su Xiaobei latter, but well he was a nice guy.

And there's list that I felt a bit uncomfortable; 1. I don't see Song Xiyi ending wich got me so upset
2. Cannon fodder like Xie Minxuan is forgotten : (I love that boy sm :/
3. Why tf daddy Qin stay single 😡 I hope he got his happy ending (with a wife) I personally think he deserve a wife :) it's just my opinion guys...

Overall this story is nice. GIVE IT A SHOT!!

To all the people who read my comment, if you as a reader want a romantic novel, you better get out of here, you will find drama, family love, I really liked Qin Shao as dad, after being single one day you find out that he is a father and He assumes responsibility and little by little his lonely life is filled with more color, I like how father and daughter relate, the relationship and preference between the sons and the father is distinguished, because Qin Shao prefers his daughter,... more>> that is Normally, a daughter tends to get along with her father, it is seen how Qin shao gets jealous of Qin Yu (xiaobao) for Qin Yue (Subai) it is very charming to read her day to day and how over time they become a family, although I would have liked more participation from Xiaobao as what are his preferences, the author only did is put a rival, and leave him as a 14-year-old snot who loves his sister and loves his father in his own way, I would have given more prominence, although I understand that Subai has more experience because he lived longer in another world but they don't even put the novel somewhere where Xiaobao can stand out... well, in terms of romance, I think it was unnecessary, it was forced, the author would have left it as if the family of 3 lived happily ever after, as the arrival of the man did not even call him the male protagonist because he did not even have a great participation as ML in that part the author should have let Qin Shao meet a good woman... for that he sincerely deserves it and both children too. <<less
