it was an enjoyable read. Their shennigans are really funny.

Great story! The love between the leads is so beautiful! WOW!

The start of the story is sort of written from the daughter's POV, a high school kid around 15/16y old. By then, the couple was already together for 17y.

... more>> Yang Mo, the shou (MC), is a top hacker and works as the CTO in the company of ML. They met eachother in college. MC was a sophomore whilst ML was a freshman.

MC is a typical tsundere. Speaks little, has a short temper, thin skinned, cool and rational, but is softhearted, kind, responsible and incredibly smart. He is the secret to the success of ML's company.

ML, gong, is the shameless, whiny, charming/flirty puppy dog kind of character. Playful nature, acts childish, silly and clingy. Sometimes he is a fake crying bag. Their dynamic reminds me a lot of cp in SVSSS. I LOVE ML as much as I love Luo Binghe from SVSSS. The bigest difference is that Luo Binghe did all of the housework. That's not the case here. MC is the mother figure amd the person that takes care of all the chores.

There is a lot of comedy in this story and the couple is incredibly down to earth. They run the biggest tech company in China but don't have any servants or housekeeper (tbh story would be more realistic if they had a housekeeping nanny, which is very common in China).

My only complaint in this story is the countless flashbacks. Around 1/3 of the story there are flash backs how cp met. However, it's broken into countless parts. The readers are left hanging till the end to read about the confession. There are countless sweet, fluffy anecdotes, so the pain is eased, but as a result I wasn't interested in the parts about the daughter and her school mates in the present timeline. I quickly skimmed these parts so I could continue reading how cp got together. The whole setting of flipping from present to past, present to past was quite annoying. Also, it was confusing, because it wasn't always that clear when it was switched back to past/present again.

This is about an old married couple (though they are only in their 30's), how they got together and the challenges they faced till the happy, domestic life with their daughter now. <<less

I swear Dad Yan is Marius von Hagen! He calls his iceberg husband "Ge" and act spoiled in front of him even though he's the Chairman and CEO of a tech company XD He's a childish top you cannot dislike! His interactions with their daughter is hilarious too. This novel really gives off familial love.

A really nice story! It deserves all of the 5 stars that I have rated.

This is a must read. I wanted to speak more on the plot but realized that it's better not to because the beauty lies in the way the novel has been written and not about the plot points. Very heartwarming and made me smile throughout.

Pretty sweet story line. It really feels like a teenage daughter learning about her 2 dads -their love and life story. I kept think that they will expand on the daughter's love life but it goes no where. There are a lot of students and their awe with the two fathers which gets a bit confusing.

Don't expect any major twist or emotional plot. It really feels like a sweet side story.

Comedic & Heartwarming family dynamic. Supportive supporting characters too.

One dad is senior of the other in University and great programmer. Rational and calm and thin skin. Hands-on with their kid. The moon.

The other, the Sun, is shameless and spontaneous and has a childish personality. Big clingy puppy dog, fell first and pursued the other dad. Built his business somewhat from scratch. Most of the time, in a petty relationship with MC since they're both fighting for trying to be clingy to the other dad 😂

Story is told in daughter's pov.... more>> What it feels like for the usual two protags of a danmei to adopt a kid and continue life in their middle age years 😆 Interchangeable scenes between the present and her two dad's love story / past. Good for a casual slice of life read :) <<less

This is an interesting story. Through a series of retellings, we witness the two Dads love affair. There's a lot of humour and cuteness to the text. Also, there's no bad guy in this story, just slices of life. One drawback? The ending was a bit of meh for me.
Spoiler

There was no rise toward it; it just ended.

(I gave it a 5 by accident--finger slipped).

This is a wonderful novel about a teenage daughter wanting to find out how her two fathers fell in love, so it has flashbacks as her fathers and their friends tell her stories about their past

It’s sweet and cute and full of familial love. I highly recommend it

Dropped. Conceptually I love it. If the book did what the summary wrote, then I would be happy. But literary-wise, writing-wise, plot-wise, structure-wise, I CAN'T DO THIS ANYMORE (being overdramatic*). This is not for me. Too many flashbacks. In fact this book is living in the past to tell the love story of the dads. Fine in concept, horrendous in execution: the only warning you'll get that you'll be reading a past section is just CONTEXT CLUES of the mentions of university. Sometimes out of nowhere, in the middle of... more>> a "present day" scene where I'm still invested in seeing what happens but no, I just have to time travel in the past AGAIN FOR THE 20TH TIME!!

The writing is not good enough to incorporate the flashbacks, past story in a cohesive manner. I'm picky and I'm proud of it. I'm not going to sit here and read this flashback whiplash just bc I like the concept of this novel. This novel is 65% in the past. Hardly much spoiling of the girl or present day interesting family scenes, past the first 10 chapters. The writing for present day is also way more telling over showing than the past story sections which is... A choice. I DISLIKE. anyways, if you want gay fluff and you don't mind janky/non-existent transitions and chapters of full flashbacks, then this is for you. I gave it 3 stars for the concept (that wasn't there really)... I'm honestly being very nice. <<less
