Okay, I may be biased because I'm the editor of the novel, but as a person who is forcing themselves not to read ahead, I can say that this novel is absolutely amazing if you are looking for a light-hearted and comedic read.

The characters of all the pet companions are very well developed, and the lack of brain cells makes me laugh a lot. Maybe it's just my preference for s*upid MCs, but the overreaction he has to many common things reminds me more of a fearful mouse than a... more>> cat.

I own my own s*upid orange cat, and the conversations and dialogue the ML has with the MC until now are very natural and true to life. The exasperation turning into indulgence is the bane of every pet-owners life, as you can never berate them.

The plot also adds so much intrigue that I have to blacklist jjwxc to prevent myself from spoiling everything too early.

All-in-all, and amazing read that I definitely recommend <<less

I dont wanna spoil you, all I can say this novel was worth of my time. 😀 But most I liked was their group chatting/conversations, really hilarious.

Only thing I wished was more of MC and ML and how they spend their long life due to a contract and double cultivation.

Also MC's Master and Ling Xuan romance wasn't explained? It was hinted that Ling Xuan has a marriage line with MC's Master but it seems the romance was left up to the audiences' discretion on whether it established or not. So I would have love if there was an extra of this potential side couple

It’s kind of s*upidly cute but with plot, the fluff heals the soul though.

The story kind of reminds me of the movie “The Secret Life of Pets” but with a supernatural element.

Plot wise the story has yet to be that deep or serious so it’s not something that I would suggest for someone looking for a substantial plot to get into (yet? I’m unwilling to MTL so I’m unsure about future chapters). But if you’re looking for a light and fluffy read then this hits that mark in more ways... more>> than one. <<less

It's light and fluffy. Easy to read as world is no rocket science. Who wouldn't love palm-sized pet cubs? Well I like it. But one can't please everybody. Other readers that are especially picky in plot realism might dislike it so I will lay down the points and it's up to you to consider whether to read it or not. First, as much as MC is lauded as a genius, his and ML's situation is hard to believe. It's like "genius" became as common as cabbage you can find it... more>> anywhere. Also genius does not necessarily equate to fast success. That age is really far too young to be able to immediately build some "Fortune 100" company.., unless aided by his parents. Money, influence and contact that cannot be magically available to a student. Second, that university is sus. And the way the masters going in and out the school using mind alteration and getting out scot-free is a mind-nagging plot hole for me.

Regardless, it's still a joy ride with the little Chubby and his furry friends. The whole story reeks of cuteness.

A county that has an urban legend about a pet shop. Reminds me of pet shop of horrors and that made me easier to accept the hyper-realistic part and treat this as a light reading. <<less

Okay story, maybe I wasn't exactly in the mood for this so it just started feeling like a chore to continue.

Has a great premise, love all the pets and the mysterious QQ system. The interactions among the little pets is fun as well as all abilities the QQ system allows them to possess. The world background clearly is a modern fantasy/supernatural setting where demons and hunters/cultivators secretly exists. It's intriguing and all.

i think what made me not feel this novel at this point is how artificial the romance with... more>> the ML seems to me. I feel like there is so much going on but not enough time for the two to interact and MC to develop feelings and in return ML to fall for him too. It feels more forced than anything.

idk ill prolly try this out at another time-the story itself isn't bad at all! Very interesting elements.

This is placed in a world where Intelligent Animal/Pets are not Unfamiliar, and yet also part of Rarity as well. But it was 'easily' accepted because how the Pets came from.

So we get to see MC and other certain pets being Smarts and doesn't have problem showing it with playing video game and all. No need for Secrecity about that aspect. But there's still lot of Secrets that ordinary Human can't know about them.

I honestly LOVE everytime the Pets (cat, dog, hamster, bird, etc gathering together ❤). Their friendship are... more>> Adorable and So Good!

And for the Romance, it's neither Fast nor Slow. It's definitely not slow because since the first 1/4 of the story, our MC and ML already kiss and mutual like each other. They just happen to not be official 'Official' because Secret Supernatural things.

Btw, ML might be a kind of Chunni, but he's far from Idiot! He observe, understanding, suspect, and patient. So far, he's Pretty Good!

Still so many Mysteries. But nothing heavy so far.
