“It must have been difficult for you all this time. Let me free you from that power.”

Melissa, who served for her kingdom as a saint for eight years, lost her power that day.

‘My role is over.’

Then, there was no reason for her to be there.

The new saint had become His Highness fiancée, and she was no longer necessary.

Therefore, to spare herself the pain, she decided to leave before her engagement was annulled.

Yet another inoffensive story with a predictable plot that would not have happened if people did this amazing little trick called having a conversation.

I know this is supposed to be a light read, but god, the prince pissed me off.
Spoiler

MC lost her saintess powers because the prince asked the goddess. His reason? He loves her so much he wanted to marry her soon, and her saintess duties were "taking too much of her time". F*ck that shit.

Suppose we reverse the roles: MC asks the king to make the prince a commoner because his crown prince duties are "too hard" and it takes away from their time to be lovey dovey. He'll still be the saint's husband, so who cares right? Who cares if he's spent years on that role and is actually attached to it? Who cares if he actually likes doing it? His opinion is not important, so there's no need to consult him! Anyway, he loves MC more than his princely duties, so he'll understand right?

That's what the prince did to MC. And what's worse, MC just accepted it. She's loved by the prince, who cares about anything else?

Readable but very predictable. I thought about giving it a 3 because of the overused tropes but the story is so short they aren't painful so 4 stars.

Imagine any Isekai you have read that had a dense protagonist, complete lack of communication and built the whole story around those ideas. Then imagine it happening in 8 short chapters and you have this story. The biggest problem with the story is that the author tries to make things right that don't need to be made right at the very end. The... more>> read could have been five stars if it weren't for this last minute foundation work.

Bottom line: It's a little cute and a lot quick.0 <<less

MTLed to the finish (chapter 8).

It's a cute short story resolving misunderstanding and miscommunications between a pair of lovers. The new saint is a NEW saint so it couldn't be helped that she wouldn't be as efficient and good as the previous saint. It's good that the MC brought this up and helped her from being mistreated. All in all, truly a good end.

Cute short story. Like the others said it was very cliché
Spoiler

My only problem is that in the end of the chapter Jeid revealed that her and his family are friends and has been spying on her since he was 10. If so why didn't he help her family when they were riddled with sickness. I know their country was having a crisis but for his love, that was kind of a cheap move.

For once I wish there was a ??? Out of 5. It's not particularly bad but its so predictable that it isn't good or even mediocre.

Spoiler

You know how people say "Give it at least ten chapters before rating it?" Yeah? Well this is eight chapters long. And anyone could probably tell how the story would go given how short it is.

This story was actually quite good but the ending kinda ruined the emotion that was built in 7 chapters before.

Spoiler

It's about the prince secretly loved FL even before she became a saint and that her family was actually closed with the royal family. If that was the case, how could her family fall to such condition? Why didn't the prince and royal family give a helping hand?

I would give fewer stars, after all this MC is s*upid for what she did, but her reasoning in the last chapter is solid. F*cking zero communication skill of all characters get me pissed of, but anyway, 8 chapters, just go and ready it.

There are some interesting sides regarding passing the torch and helping the new kid to be accepted without shamming the aggressors (that deserved to be shunned, at least). That is a spoiler, but this has 8 chapters mate, just deal with it.
