Magician Augusta receives a strange letter and package from his friend one early morning. The box turns out to be a young (and very naked) werewolf! Five words to easily sum up this novel would be: light-hearted, hilarious and wholesome crack.

This is a novel that's a quick and fun read with a mix-match of various characters thrown into the storyline — from a socially awkward magician to a clingy werewolf, a very loud unicorn and a scheming vampire, and more creatures that bring the fun to the story.

It is a novel you would want to pick up when you're in a mood to laze and sit back, and have something to laugh over.
The MC, Augusta, is a magician who can be best identified as a total tsundere. He is a relatable character and also probably the most sane person in the chaotic life that ensues after the ML, Kyfayar, a werewolf, quite literally gets delivered to his doorstep.

The first parts of the novel sets the world into place and familiarises one with the characters already introduced, before the clumsy and cute romance is ushered in along with the plot that revolves around Augusta's past.

Again, I stress that this is a light-hearted and hilarious read, sprinkled with cute romance that warms your soul. Hope you enjoy reading this! :')

Maybe I've gotten too used to the fairly simplistic writing styles of most web novels. This one feels like a typical western book, only it feels kind of disjointed and like everything is going by too fast and not logically. It's just me but it's kind of hard to read. I don't know if it's how the author wrote the book or if it's supposed to show how the MC is kind of eccentric and erratic, but it makes my head hurt a little so I'll stop here for now.... more>> No rating since I'm only two chapters in. <<less

ヽ║ ˘ _ ˘ ║ノ I agree on the comedy and the setting is interesting but the romance didn’t feel cute to me at all and I couldn’t tolerate the people that were pushing them together, Cavaldien is a creature I want to shove his existence into meat grinder with blades full of poison and he doesn’t deserve his own love story either.

A solid 3.9 stars from me.

This is a very interesting story. Funny in a self-deprecating and matter of fact kind of way. I liked the fantasy incorporated into modern life, like its the most normal thing to be that way. The author knew when to finish the story, and didn't prolong it just to get more chapters. Nice to sit down and read on a lazy afternoon. It's got the same feel as a lazy afternoon to it too.

What was slightly unsatisfying for me was how Augusta's conflict with Cavaldien was addressed and resolved. I know that it's my own need for seeing Cavaldien be more regretful or Augusta regaining some of the lost honor that's making it stick in my throat a bit. I wish Augusta's pain of being betrayed could have been avenged. But then again, life is like that.

This is another light, fast comedic read that snaps and crackles the whole way through. These actually work better when they aren't too long and stick to the laughs. Trying to add any seriousness just jars. Let the absurdity flow thick and the jokes come fast. That's the best way to enjoy these stories.

I will say that the characters did have good distinctive personalities, each of which added to the humor in their own way. Although the unicorn does have a tendency to scream a lot.

There were just enough adventures,... more>> no big bad guys, just funny events and at the end a pretty nice romance with a very genuine and straightforward werewolf and a grumpy magician.

It's a light-hearted novel filled with comedy. If you want a short story that doesn't have much drama and focuses on the crack then this one is a go. I really like the mix of characters and their chemistry with each other, it's spectacular and fun. I really just like the humor of the story and how most of the time it's filled with crack. Overall I'll rate it 4 stars. Though I had some complains but it's gonna be at the spoiler tag

I really hate Cavaldien's character, he manipulated and betrayed the MC and dealt a heavy trauma towards the MC which resulted at the MC wasting his years and probably having depression for some time. I'm unsatisfied how it was just glossed over and how he was still insincere when they "reconciled". He said that if given the chance again like if he goes back in time he'll betray the MC again with no second doubts, is that even?? Does that mean he doesn't regret it? Then why even apologized to the MC and make due if you haven't learned your lesson. I wish the MC actually got his justice or at least not tolerate Cavaldien's bullshit. Sorry for the long rant but it really just irked me how it was glossed over like he ruined MC's life and it was just like fine now? Uhh no, hold him accountable at least.

Absolutely hilarious, but I wish there was more romantic progression. The comedic parts were genuinely funny in my opinion, but it really does feel like a comedy novel more than a BL novel. Still, a good lighthearted read with a fun cast of characters.
