Sometimes I wonder if I'm a masochist for reading this. Every SINGLE chapter made me cry like a little girl, I rarely cry for sad novel and probably having moist eyes but that's it, and yet here I keep crying because my heart hurts for Ilya.

If you want to see happy-go-lucky MC and plot or cruel and revengeful MC to the plot, no, don't bother. Because not every romance have happy ending and you can't expect everything will fall in your hands just because you're a schemer because no matter... more>> what, in the end everything will return to the beginning in this story. You will be judged for every action you take, more so if you're a noble. Not everything will fall into your hands, no matter how you wish for it.

This is a great novel for me, because there's a different perspective for every romance manga out there. Both happy-go-lucky MC and revengeful MC have happy ending, and I hope Ilya do, but for the time being no, there is not a happy ending. It's like a fresh breeze and yet, a chilly one. The mystery also become darker the more time loop got repeated. Everything got more complicated. I highly suggest this novel. <<less

This is a heartbreaking novel. You will probably cry a lot reading this.

I myself am not one to cry because of works of fiction, but I found myself crying on this one, because it's just so overwhelming. This is truly a tragedy.

Stay away if you are not into these sorts of stories. Hell, as far as the translation goes, there's no sign of the MC pulling through the situation she found herself in. We're not promised a happy ending. Read it at your own risk.

So here,

The story itself is only revolving on the same storyline, but each with improved story, or different approach.

But let me be clear about the TRAGEDY tag. This one really emphasize strongly on that part. I binge-read this and yeah, by far this is the novel that gave me the most terrible HEARTACHE.

The reason that I still continues despite this terrible heartache, is that I, just like the the main protagonist, too, wished for a happy ending.

Dammit I cried so much

It pains me and at the same time intrigues me to read this that I am now forced to read the raw version using google translate

The story was quite mysterious, that it makes you wonder why the events had happened.

... more>> And it is also so relatable, it shows the other side of a love story, in which it is not all rainbows and sunshine, but is more of sacrifice and pain.

This story does not give you any sense of fulfillment or satisfaction like all other stories with revenge or with finally letting go and meeting someone new, instead it leaves you with more angst, frustrations and wonder.

All in all this a great read though I caution you that you should prepare for a good amount of tissues. <<less

At first chapter i've a high expectation for this novel because the plot is very different from other reincarnation novels.

But then it's just get more and more boring. I know i've only read 4 chapters but still, this novel's chapter is long and atleast in the first 4 chapters it's just the main protagonist whining and whining. So if you are a kind of person who get bored easily, don't read this. You will get bored for sure. However, if you are into a tragedic novel, I highly recommend this.

At first I thought that it wa a good novel, after the 3rd loop I began thinking that it was just a self pity-fest, and by the end of her arc I realized just how shallow her character and the story itself was.

I'm fine with time-loops, I'm not fine with her just giving up after a few loops and not learning anything from them.

In stargate there was an episode that explored similar themes, o'neal and teal'q being stuck in a timeloop unable to move forward no matter how hard they... more>> try, they are about to give up (teal'q and o'neal) when daniel jackson said to them: you guys do realize that if you know that you are stuck in a time loop you can basically do anything you want right?

And so they did while still trying to figure things out. They never gave up and even had some fun on the way. They learned, they improved and figured out the reason behind the timeloop and fixed it. As o'neal said: if at first you don't succeed, try, try, try, try, try, try, try again.

What I'm getting at is, we never get any answers, we don't know the cause of the time loop, we don't know if there was another way to resolve it, hell the main character never improved until the end, she just lay down and accepted her situation after a few tries. And she didn't grow at all, if she had she would've moved beyond her fiance and her situation and tried to find her own happiness. Giving up =/= growth. Hell she knew how she died time and time again, one would think she would come up with solutions to avoid those deaths, sooner or later she would succeed at not dying.

On Scribblehub there is a story called the sixth, I recommend you read that one instead, the MC of that story is stuck in the same situation, but she never gave up and improved, she is clever enough to come up with solutions and defy fate. The sixth is a superior story to this one in every way. <<less

After 40 frustrating chapters, I decided to stop reading. I feel like the revelation as to why Ilya kept repeating her life was unsatisfactory. There are also so many questions that are yet to be answered. But I don't have the patience to read them.

Ilya's multiple regressions are related to her little sister. Basically when Silvia was killed in the first time line, Ilya had to repeat her life to prevent such tragedy.

Her father is the earl and her birth mother is a princess of a foreign country, also the master of Ilya's birth mother. Since there is some succession issue in that foreign country, Silvia, who's a princess, is in danger.

Sorry to disappoint but they're not love interests. In fact they're foreigners who wish to kill Silvia. Edward was the guy who visited Ilya in jail and apologized to her bec she became the scapegoat for Silvia's death.

At this point, I actually don't know she can't let go of Solei. Note that she cant seem to remember her life before the tea party. Something also seems to be controlling her, preventing her from moving on. I actually thought she was eventually able to let go but nawp, until chp 40 she was still in love. She seemed to have died for real tho. I'm not sure if she regresses again. I hope not. She's a bit hopeless tbh. If no external force helps her, she'll stay in the same place - yearning for the love of ppl who dont care abt her.

Too much rambling! I really tried to give it my best shot but the mc's inner monologue is too long It'll make your head ache. The story as a tragedy is good So I'd advise to read the manga instead of the novel. I cried reading the manga, it is concise but has great angst, not a bore like the novel.

Ps. MC is a f*cking idiot, I said what I said. Don't come at me saying she is broken. I've ready many depressed, abused MC before. This MC is utterly... more>> hopeless, I get it if It's the 2-3 life where you still can't make better choices, still love ur fiancee and sis and still have hope but even after 4-5th life she is still doing "what is expected of her" like a machine. Like bit*h what would happen if you act out a Little? They'll despise you, You'll die? These things will happen anyway so why are you still like this! <<less

Tragedy in every meaning. While reading you'll be an emotional wreck for sure. If you want to feel pained and helpless this is for you.

By the way the manga is as good. 10/10 Recommend them both.

how I would describe this story is:

"I'm crying, I'm not crying, I'm crying, I can't stop crying"

Ilya has an extremely tragic life and I only empathise with her because the story is from her point of view

... more>> I wont stop disliking soleil even though he had an arc describing his actions because I feel like he's an insensitive prick.

Crow is amazing, although he barely appeared in the story until the later parts. He's somewhat like a hero that we know is there to save Ilya.

Silvia is by no means a bad lady, just that there are complicated circumstances involving her birth and family.

I rate 5 stars in hope of a good ending and more updates.

a scruple I have is the length of paragraphs and sometimes the story gets confusing <<less

This was such a bitterly dark fic. Truly bewitching with how utterly lonely the two main characters (Ilya and Crow) are.

In what seems to be the second to last arc we see what Crow's life was and what it becomes. He also had a tragic childhood and suffered a great misfortune during a time when he and his wife were planning to start a family.

Ultimately, his long life leads him to Ilya, and he begins to search for her through different worlds.

This also explains why Ilya's efforts to change her destiny fail. The characters look the same, but they're always different people. It's her soul that seems to jump between.

And in the last arc, maybe there's a chance at happiness.

I wonder what happen to soleil.. Last part when ilya ask to let her behind soleil seem hesitate to let her go.. What happen when he learn that ilya died.. Did he regret? Or does realize that he love ilya. I dont know.. Just curious what happen.. Its not fair only for ilya. Mmm

This novel has made me cry a lot, the truth has made me suffer like no other, it deserves a good rating, but hey, regarding the story, I no longer want the protagonist to suffer. I hope those who hurt the protagonist have their moment of suffering

Lots of pain and foreshadowing. The author can really write to pull on your heart strings, a hard hand forcefully pulling all your organs out at the pain our leads have to go through.

No fluff at all. No fluff at all!
You have been warned.

I want a good ending to both of them, and I hope it will be as satisfying as what another review have eluded to.

Chapter 54 and I'm just.... *stabbing motion to the heart*

Edit: Read to the latest new third arc from chap 56 onwards. I'm glad.

I think around in chapter 15, it's Soleil POV, you may know that all of his (sweet) actions to the FL little sister are all forced.

I mean is it is literally forced, it's just like in your head you want to say "thank you" but becuz of some unknown phenomenon, the words that got

out from your mouth is "Okay, Fine!".

I read a story in wattpad that has similar situation like that.

Story : "100" by passtheduch

In this story, the FL reincarnated by 100th time, and on those 99 lives, her Love one always fall in love with her sister. And around in the middle of the story, his pov, he claimed that some unknown force was hindering his true intentions. Leading to hurt the FL.

So in other words, even if you hate the ML in this novel, it's really not his intentions okay!

I know this novel because of the manga, because it's very interesting I searched and found the novel in translation..

I read this novel all night, and from the beginning of the novel to this chapter it made me feel tormented like I was part of Ilya in the story. It was so frustrating because of all the "lives" she had, the people she wanted to love her never ever cared less didn't even try to love her. I can't stop crying. I know that her sister and her fiancé 'didn't... more>> have bad intentions' from the start to Ilya, but I can't help but hate them too.

- Her fiancé saw only his "sister-in-law" in his eyes until the end.

- The younger sister can be said only thought happiness for herself.

- His father only cares about the daughter of the woman he loves.

- Ilya's birth mother with everything she goes through in her life, the effects of loyalty and love for her husband chooses to "throw away" Ilya, her real daughter.

- Although there is Al, Ilya's one and only escort knight the one of the few people who care her, however he is still an outsider and can't do anything to help her.

- In the end Ilya will be with another man who really cares and wants to live with her.

Although this is a very good novel but this really makes me sick.. For those of you who really like heavy angst, tragedy and psychological I think this is one good novel to recommend. <<less

The amount of tears I cried can drown a person. Normally I hate angsty stuff but this was so capturing and sad at the same time. I cried so bad cause it's so heart wrenching.

I loved it. It's really depressing and sad. While binge-reading this I couldn't help but cry. I read it last year and recently found out that there is a manga. Maybe I'll read the novel a second time :) (and of course the manga)
