Rating as of current chapter: 4/5

Pros:

    • MC might be OP, but when he transmigrated over to his new body, he was limited by his body's condition.
      Spoiler

i.e. He reflexively kicked someone who got close to him because he came from the End Times and equated human touch = danger, but due to his current body not having the proper muscles trained and the fact that the og owner passed away due to overwork from physical labor and physical abuse, he only hurt his waist with that action, additionally, all abilities he had went back to level 1

      [collapse]
    • Addressed language issue in interstellar transmigration. The language used was different, but due to the memories of og owner, MC was able to speak it, albeit awkwardly since his consciousness wasn't used to it.
    • I like MC despite the psychopathic tendencies
      Spoiler

which understandable since he was born and raised in the End Times and was alone for hundreds of years, that's a guaranteed way to turn a person mentally disturbed

      [collapse]
Normally I don't like those types of MCs, but it's offset by the childlike innocence he has in matters pertaining to living and society.
    • Love the side characters as well, so far. We'll see if their screen time continues.
    • ML and MC hasn't met yet (though the both of them has seen the other through a screen). I love how they're still establishing MC's life and hadn't thrown him at the ML immediately.
Cons:

    • Translation. I'm thankful for the free translation (though after chapter 17, the rest of the chapters are only available after paying with site currency), but honestly, it leaves a lot to be desired. It's basically readable MTL (which I've already come to expect from Flying Lines), it's not the worst but also, it's still MTL quality. Word choices were also a bit iffy/cringy.
    • Repetitive information (+overstating facts). I'm not sure if this stems from the way it was translated or if it's from the author's writing, but there were information needlessly repeated even though it was stated just a few paragraphs ago. Now, there's using repetition to convey feelings and emotions through writing, so that it highlights the severity of the pain, happiness, and etc. But that's not the case here.
    • Some holes in logic and some inconsistencies. Can be overlooked though and not too bothersome.
Will update after completing.

It should be rate 4.5.
the beginning to the middle and almost the end is really the best and interesting. which makes it less interesting, this story has many plot holes. then the ending is very, very rushed. throughout the 300 chapters I thought the questions playing in my mind would be exposed and the story game would be more interesting, apparently not, the ending was very, very disappointing and there were many plot holes, it seems that the author has run out of ideas and wants to finish the... more>> story line immediately.

I think a story with 100 chapters but compact is better than 300 chapters but many plot holes are quite annoying. If you're running out of ideas, it's better if the storyline stops at the part of saving the king and queen and the Sodir Empire, after that reveal the secret of the zombie king who lived for 800 years and why he's at the Lian Nuo family cemetery. why the people of Sodir Empire can't reach king-level. many questions but still unanswered. I'm tired of reading until the end waiting for an answer but I can't get it.

Lian Nuo (mc) are treasure? I think of treasure think might attracted villainase, but...

Spoiler

Lian Nuo is a treasure? but at the end of the story he is the most dysfunctional and needs to be protected even though his life was 500 years ago, he was above king-level. The ending is quite flat and not conflicted enough. suddenly the boss villain is interested in the secret of the MC and then tries to catch the MC, abruplty changes from the competition to to catch the MC, abruptly loses interest in the secret of the MC, what is the author doing this nonsense? I think with MC as a property, the antagonist might try to get MC throughout the climax, the climax of this novel is ABSURB. at least the important property should be seized. urghhhh!!!!

[collapse]

zombie king

Spoiler

make the reader wonder who the zombie king is, and why he is kept in Lian Nuo's mother's family cemetary. why is he strong who is the zombie king and what is the reason for his existence. why is he interested in Lian Nuo and doesn't like people approaching him as if he is his lover or even a very important person who needs to be protected. there is no answer for that, all I read is a chattering dialogue about the fruit of the tree and a love story.

[collapse]

Original Lian Nuo's parents

Spoiler

what happened to Lian Nuo's original parents? ML said he will help solve the Lian family's problems, then what will happen to them? where are they now? why is there no extra for MC to soften his heart and meet them?

[collapse]

Original Lian Nuo's ex

Spoiler

where is he now? what happened, what was his reaction when he found out that MC was the crown princess. what happened to the Li family.

[collapse]

MC powers

Spoiler

they stated, wood-abilities quickly level up compared to other abilities. but the mystery of how MC has the power of water, healing and space is not explained. why the power of water and healing quickly leveled up. Why is MC different from others?

[collapse]

wood abilities

Spoiler

What I didn't expect was that, throughout the years of the existence of abilities in Sodir Empire, there have never been any wood-abilities that suddenly appeared for no reason without knowing the origin of the existence of those abilities. while the boy has nothing to do with the MC or even the Master Association who has the power of wood. the end of the pretentious boy who bullies the ordinary boy also hangs.

[collapse]

There are so many questions and plot holes that I can't mention, what I mentioned is important that should be part of the key to the story but not revealed. <<less

Honestly, the premise of this novel is pretty interesting. Intially, I found it interesting, and tbh the character Minka (I think) has more flesh than both the MC and ML.

I feel like the author is pretty long-winded in the writing, there is a kinda draggy feeling to the text where unimportant information is fleshed out a bit too much taking it away from the plot.

The ML I kust admit has a weird personality and interest in the MC, and it's not particularly interesting in how it's depicted. For example, in... more>> other novels with a Crown Prince or the like, they usually are kind and gentlemanly in behaviour or they're crazy obsessed. He feels a but luke-warm tbh.

The MC is okay, but I feel like when he shares scenes with the ML, it's no longer interesting to read.

I admit that I'm pushing myself through this to see how it goes as I have yet to see the MC's scientist persona (he's pretty much living like a rice-worm up to now). Yes he has shown the tip of his OP persona iceberg, but the way it was carried out in the text wasn't so flash. I feel that the author wasn't really able to give the story and characters enough justice.

All in all: okay, but could be better. <<less
