let’s start with how the MC and ML didn’t talk for half month in the beginning because of what? Yes a pet! A dog! Don’t get me wrong, I don’t have anything against pet or dog. Just that it’s understandable for Gong to shoo away the dog because apparently Wen couldn’t take care of himself. He has allergy to the fur cause of his respiratory thing. And he got sick then ofc that Gong has to take away the dog because he cares for Wen. Just that maybe it’s also wrong that he doesn’t discuss this with the partner, BUT STILL? The only one apologised is the Gong and Wen didn’t say anything. They made up and everything was fine again?

And you know what I hate again? THE MOTHERS! Or more like Gong’s Mother. Like okay you love Wen, you want your child to be like Wen. It’s fine, but when Gong finally was born, you said he was ugly. That he had to work hard so he could be appreciated. And then later on when they got together, you degraded your own son so much?? I don’t understand the point of the background story. If anything it makes me even hateful of the mother and in that way even Wen Ge. Oh and btw I rad Gong has malnutritions?? Is it also cause of his mother?? Please dear author, you can make the parents love the shou, it’s fine but don’t make them such bad parents to ignore their own kids.

Maybe the author didn’t want to explore too much then by all means DON’T PUT THEM IN THE FIRST PLACE. Wen Ge became that white lotus to me when they were with the mothers so it made me hate Wen Ge even more. Like I love the shou usually but I don’t see anything I can like from the shou. He’s too pampered, can’t do anything except his musical abilities, and honestly I don’t know how Gong could fall in love with Wen at first place.

For someone who loves each other and has spent 7 years together, I don’t get it why he needs to hide anything? About that Yin Heng guy, he could have discussed it together with Gong and maybe found a way out. It event went to the conflict where Gong finally punched that Yin guy. Can’t say that it’s not entirely the Wen’s fault. And even Gong has to suffer the consequences. Well he’s also at fault for beating up people but still... if you found your partner being harassed, don’t you want to get mad either?

and who the heck named their dog maltose? 😭

Gong Ze always calling Weng Ge his wife despite him saying he doesn't like it, and also the moment when Gong Ze beat up the other kid for coming onto Weng Ge— violence isn't my preferred method of resolving conflict.

This novel is just about Gong Ze and Wen Ge's journey on how they are itching to announce their relationship to the world while trying to not cause chaos (since both of their fandoms are mortal enemies 🤣) They'll encounter some small problems along the way, but it all ends up well.
