has strong intuition and it able to spot a Destroyer at a glance (such as Zhen Li). So you wonder, why hasn't he caught on to his husband? Then, when ML's coworker investigates MC, tells ML "your husband is a control freak" and gradually stops suspecting that ML is a Destroyer - you'd think, wow MC is super good at hiding his tracks. And also, maybe love really did decrease ML's IQ. However, turns out that Pingping's intuition was the foundation for his attraction (Love at First Sight) to his husband from the start of their relationship. When they first met, ML thought "I must not let him go!". It also gets funnier when MC gets desperate and tempts ML to find out (leaving hints all over their apartment that he's the "big bad guy") but cute ML turns a blind eye because he wants to protect his husband & waits for MC to confess. Oh, also the reason why ML's friends kept third-wheeling in the past was because they were trying to make sure MC is actually an ordinary citizen of their world... poor MC he never gets a break LOL. Also ML is shou (he claims it's because he's lazy, but really we all know it's because MC prefers to be in control and ML indulges him lol). He's also such a sweetheart (because he grew up in a peaceful world) and can protect himself and his husband. It makes perfect sense why he's the chosen one

• • You'd think because MC lived so long that he and ML wouldn't work well, especially because ML always wrecks the perfectly organized fridge (lol). So, maybe they get along so well because MC is mature and manipulates positively influences ML (ex: fixes his routine, takes care of him, etc). However, MC thinks ML is too good for him because ML is the first person to love him unconditionally and understands him so well

• • MC never kills because he's strong enough to protect everyone, however there were times when he was weak & at his worst:

    ML's powers (with the world law as a catalyst) "glitched" a trap set for MC and ends up actually time-traveling to different points in MC's life before they met. ML discovers MC went from a fair promising young man into a jaded, twisted and cold "Tyrant". However, ML was never afraid and still fell in love with MC over and over. ML knows that MC was always trying his best to save as many people as he could while pretending he doesn't care (because he's been betrayed so many times). Eventually ML meets MC at the time when MC was at his lowest & turned psychotic from all the suffering he went through (yandere in full swing!). So at this point in time, MC has his way with ML in the little black room!! (with consent :D). This doesn't destroy their relationship at all & don't get mad! It's not as bad as it sounds because MC will never harm ML, and MC's insecurity stems from years of loneliness and never knowing when he'd meet ML again. T_T

    MC's punishments are just. Other reviewer's said what he did to Xiao Ha is cruel, but that Destroyer almost blew up Yu Hua's husband, and went way too far in taking children hostage and planting bombs on them. If MC had not put a leash on him, there would have been no way for the Protection Organization to let that person live, so overall it was for the best for Xiao Ha to stay and to atone by protecting the child he almost killed... what a twist of fate

• • Why they met it's in the last extra: Destiny = So the World Law is like a World's Will & Rules. Protectors were born in ML's planet as the World Law's self-defense system against Destroyers (based on some data from analyzing the invader, it awoken & activated potential in its own indigenous people based on a similar set of rules). The moment MC came into ML's world and posed no threat, the World Law saw an opportunity to counter the System's looming threat, and based on a series of calculations, the World Law discovered that ML (who was already born with much more potential than other people to be a strong Protector) is the factor needed for a successful self-defense plan. So "coincidences" that were based on the World Law's calculations = Destiny
