One day, Zhang Chenfei met a car accident. Fortunately, he didn’t suffer any serious physical injuries. However, due to the impact of the car crash, his brain’s perception of the real world had turned into that of the novel that he was reading prior to the accident. The thing that horrified his wife, Jiao Qi, was… the Smart Brain, Louis XIII downloaded a series of books which meant that his husband would turn into a different character each time!

How will our adorable little wife deal with this kind of husband who seemed to suddenly suffer from multiple personalities?

This novel’s plot focuses on Zhang Chenfei’s changing personality based from the characters in the books, and how his wife, Jiao Qi, deal with every character as he will have to act in sync with whoever his husband’s character is. This is per the advise of the private doctor since treatment of this special condition was still under research.

As they act out their roles, they will gradually discover and learn more about the other, which they’ve never known in their seven years of living together.

Funny and cute.

First read a bit of this in the manga version some time ago.

It’s an interesting premise in that instead of quick transmigration through worlds/novels, the ML takes on the different personalities while retaining some of his original self. I got a little bored near the last few personality changes ‘cause it felt a little repetitive, but the reversal part was quite funny.

... more>> Laughed out loud quite a few times at the nonsense, a few mild tingles here and there.

A good light-hearted read. If I re-read, it’ll probably be the manga version. <<less

I have finished the raw, and I can't stop laughing till the end xDD ML's brain disorder make ML+MC interaction rly funny, most of the time MC will speechless bc ML's "script/plot" just too much. For example during Vampire arc, when ML wanted to suck MC's "blood" + how ML will turn MC to be a "vampire", or the Poseidon arc, where ML insisted bring MC back to the sea. And the "underworld emperor/mafia boss" + ABO arcs will make ML like a chuuni acute patient xDD

Per arc will also... more>> reveal a bit about ML+MC's family, and what ML hides from MC, it's nothing big, but it makes MC realized how ML truly love him or how ML's feeling when MC too busy w/ his work. And I also like it when ML begged for MC's forgiveness whenever he's back as himself after per arc ended xDD

I'm sure once you try the first few chapters you'll be hooked, and really, this novel deserve more than 5 stars! Oh- btw, there's no smut, so if you try to read it bc want smut you'll probably be disappointed since this novel focus on ML+MC comedic interaction. <<less

The poor MC. I feel so sorry for him, he has to put up with the ML everyday. I honestly would have killed him by now, but I guess that's why I haven't transmigrated yet, I have bad impulse control. It's such a cute story, I was laughing the whole time.

Bwahahah, this novel had me rolling. Absolutely hilarious.

After 7 years of marriage, the two MCs still maintain a good relationship, but an accident renders the gong unable to distinguish reality from the many danmei novels he's trapped in. At first, the shou is concerned and tries to keep his gong from causing too much trouble, but he eventually gives up and just plays along.

Together, they travel through various roles including the gong acting as an Overbearing President, Sugar Daddy, an Imperial Marshal (Alpha), Poseidon, Vampire Lord, Underworld Tyrant, and Ancient... more>> Warlord. Somehow, they manage to stumble their way through everyday life while scaring the daylights out of their employees, except for their dedicated butler who simply thinks that his two bosses are role playing, hahah.

The shou may as well have had his palm permanently glued to his face because of all the ridiculous things the gong did. Luckily, most people thought they were jokes.

These include:

Signing his name on official paperwork as Dior Zhang -- a running gag as it's a homophone for 'dick' and the shou calls him Big d*ck Zhang. Later, his name became Dior Nicholas Zhang. Then, it was Dior Atlantis Zhang. In the end, he was Dior Nicholas Atlantis Zhang.

Threatening business partners with a water gun.

Spraying people with air freshener.

Forcing the shou to drink Coke because... he believes it's a contraceptive.

Carrying/kissing/hugging his shou, the company president, at his workplace in front of all their employees.

Sending food with garlic to other 'vampires.'

Shouting 'I love you' randomly, without regard for anyone around.

Naming his eSports team Dick's Army.

Proclaiming that he was a husky as a child.

Proclaiming that he grew into seahorse.

Proclaiming that he is a sea husky.

Believing that the golden retriever they adopted was his son... because clearly he's got dog genes.

Along the way, their relationship is improved as they come to understand each other as previously unmentioned points of contention are resolved.

The shou knew that the gong had a white moonlight in his heart, which turned out to be himself. Additionally, the gong was unhappy with the state of their marriage but never voiced his concerns.

The extras are pretty cute. They include an AU where the couple met earlier in their life, a peek at their relationship before they got married, and a VR game based on the world of White Cat's Divine Scratching Post. <<less

Recommended as a fluffy and funny light read.

When I first stumbled upon the synopsis, all I could feel was second hand emberassmemt. I also felt bad for the MC since it gave me "shou keeps suffering in his life bc the gong behaves like an mindless ass" vibes. But I worried too much. No real emberassment for the reader (though a lot of facepalms for the MC) ; only funny stuff and fluff. And with fluff I mean actual fluff with variation, not "smooch smooch, date date, cook cook, repeat".... more>> Also, yes, the ML does get a lot as*hole personalities, but the MC got it all in control. Actual control that makes you go "you go girl boy", and not the type of protagonist halo cringy type of control that makes you roll your eyes. I also just love the type of power couple they are. Also nice to see a shou from a rich family for once. And the ML does have times between his changing personalities in which he's himself again, and the ML will try to take responsibility for what he had done while "in character". It also has a tiny side plot that connects the whole story together, which makes the story same more whole instead of just a bunch of different stories (aka the ML's changing personalities) bundled up: the MC and ML are looking for a way to get rid of ML's "hallucinations".

You can definitely call it a different take on QT lol. Towards the end it got a bit boring for me since I'm more of a plot person, but it's definitely 5 stars considering the genre and target audience. <<less

A really good novel. Read it if you have time.

I loved this novel, and I laughed a lot. The plot itself is funny, being comedic while retaining a lot of romance itself and not being repetitive. I've seen a lot of comedy novels (especially the QT ones) where the plot starts out great but gets repetitive in the later chapters, and this novel avoids that problem.

The MC also does have character growth, which I honestly didn't expect to read in a short comedy. It's not obvious, but he does reflect... more>> on his way of treating the ML during their seven years of marriage.

Lastly, the romance. It's really cute and fluffy, and of course, there are some s*upid parts since the ML's "setting" changed. You can tell they both love each other, and it's really cute.

Definitely recommend this 10/10. Sorry for the bad English and have a nice day. <<less

Super cute novel XD

Pitfalls of a new tech aka the light brain. ML has an accident which causes his light brain to malfunction and all he remembers are the last books he read which are all dog-blood dominant CEO/ ABO/ Underworld mafia type novels lmaooo.

MC patiently deals with him, going through the story and in the process getting to know ML's secrets (he is a damned stalker uwu) and ML's blind devotion to MC. It's too good. There is a heart-thumping scene around the end but they cross over it... more>> and it's a HE. The extras are also pretty good.

Highly recommended for those who like a mature romance between two communicating adults who have spent 7 years together but still feel like they are in the beginning stages of romance - excited and fun, naughty and head-over-heels.

T/L rating - 5/5

Story rating - 10/5 (Yep, 10 out of 5 without fail) <<less

I've never laughed so hard while reading a novel. Be advised if you read this in public, you might look like a crazy person laughing at their phone hahaha. I know this from experience lol! This story is really sweet and the plot device of the ML's many characters lets the 7-year-old marriage be refreshed and renewed. It feels like they get to fall in love all over again! Definitely recommend this novel if you are looking for something entertaining and not too heavy.

This novel made me practice laughing without sound like a lunatic at ungodly hours. It's worth your time, I swear. The humor is 10/10 and the CP isn't toxic! This is a great stress reliever when you're in a foul mood!

(Rating & Review may change later as it's still early)

So far, 10/10 on the humor. Incredibly funny; I cracked up (to the point of rolling around on the bed) practically once every chapter. MC and ML are incredible together. A big chunk of the humor is owed to the fact that both are extremely capable people and respectable CEO's of their own companies... which means when ML's delusions appear, family, friends, coworkers, hardly know what to do with themselves! Misunderstandings abound!

The premise is that despite being married for... more>> 7 years, the MC is slowly uncovering more details about the ML that he hadn't known before or the ML had hidden from him. There are some minor angst from misunderstandings that provide a good balance to the top-notch humor; none of the angst is dragged on for too long. The relationship development so far is incredibly cute and sweet (diabetic inducing) ! <<less

I'm probably the only person who didn’t think It was funny. Honestly I don’t hate It by any means but It’s just too sad and frustrating for me because ML every time his disorder acts up (which is almost all the time) he acts like a tr*shy overbearing ML. Once he think MC is a substitute for the one he loves, the other he think MC's dad owes him money and he is in the relationship to pay It off. I can’t stand this anymore.

Comedy gold

Just yes for the laughs and the established relationship

ML is a henpeck husband while both MC n ML r both successful n rich businessmen but due to accident ML got personalities of the novel he read before the accident

Long story short ML becomes the overbearing president trope confronting MC, add spice to their 7 Yr marriage life and becomes super embaressed afterwards while MC is taking it like a boss

This story focus more on how to maintain healthy love life and balance between work and relax since MC found out more bout ML 1st love and ML becoming more brave towards s*x w his wife.

Overall sweet tooth rotting story w no big drama or green tea b*tch

full of facepalm from MC with his chuuni ML of 7yrs marriage, my stomach hurts just from laughing 🤣

it's not QT; just one person got into many worlds with various identities... on delusional level 😂 (so why the recommendation is filled with many QT?? lol)

Set in modern future era with everyone has light brain device, ZCF got into accident while driving. his light brain that contained so many novels damaging his memory. for a period of time he will think he is a character in novel that he reads.... more>> and his husband JQ has to deal with any delusional mess ZCF create. yet at the same time, their relationship got deeper and warmer...

conclusion: satisfaction guaranteed 👍👍👍👍 you'll never run out of funny content 🤣 <<less

One of the funniest damn novels I have ever read. These two are so unbelievably fun and it's great to see a power duo who actually love each other. I love this novel with every fiber of my being. It is also incredibly touching to see how far the shou will go for his gong. Gives interesting insights into the psyches of the MC/ML.

I’m sorry I know some people might like this but I genuinely don’t. And if you also don’t like the Overbearing CEO that likes to dominâtes and humiliate (that is how I see it) his « wife », yes because even in an era so advanced that people use smartbrains instead of smartphones, two men married still equals one husband and one wife (so s*upid), then don’t read this.
Yes the story is pretty comical but honestly it’s just about one husband unconsciously forging a mental illness that permits him... more>> to act overbearing and realize all the weird fantasme he has on his husband. That’s pretty much it. It’s just the detestable top bullying the bottom in different settings and eras.

You could actually replace de MC by a woman and not see a difference, anyways in some settings in the ML’s brain his love interest is a woman so that makes sense. That he could say things like « you will bear my kids and such » when you just had intimate relations with him and know very well he’s a man ???The MC is supposed to be an imposing CEO but honestly he’s not putting much of a fight. I kind of had the feeling he would be like so when reading some reviews but saw that one reviews that said the MC is no pushover and knows how to keep the ML in control. Totally false. To the point where two « overbearing » CEOs would start getting intimate in an elevator and ended up with one of them having his pants on the floor for everyone to see. MC pretty much likes his husband changes so yeah, get there expecting to see to see two grown men acting like two h**ny teenagers (pretty much a girl and a boy).
and the jealousy scenes omg. So annoying and makes no sense. Overall not my cup of tea at all. Should have known.

If you like the troupe then give it a chance. The story is literally around their couple so it’s pretty fluffy and like I said pretty comical. <<less

This novel is full of fluff and loves. With ML "illness" we are shown just how much they both care for each other and, truly, this illness is so good for both of them and for their relationship.

Ps. There is even bonus chapthers about their wish fullfillment -the brighter future of what-ifs

Two words, funny and embarrassing. 😅😆 The second hand embarrassment was WAHAHAHAHA! Nothing else, just pure fun.

Though, some parts were angsty. Like how the MC was slowly unraveling

his husband's secrets, his wants and needs.

Ugh! Find someone like

Big Diccu Zhang!!

He is the epitome of the best husband!

Fun fact from this novel. Mr. Dior actually means

Mr. Diccu 🙄

yeap, worth it! HAHA! Though its completely safe from uncensored papapa 🙃 yeap, I love it ugh! 🙃 Too bad, the tl is ongoing. And the mtl causes intense nosebleed.

This is absolutely freaking hilarious. Like rolling in tears hilarious. But it's also got its moments where you just want to hug the characters. And the main couple is just lovely. Every novel the ML experiences reveals interesting new details about the relationship between the MCs and the people surrounding them. The author does a great job alternating the more serious, heartwarming scenes/discoveries with comedy so you'll be simultaneously touched and in pain with each arc. Plus, the way the ML integrates his book characters into the real world is... more>> side-splittingly funny!

The way the vampire "eats" had me cracking up for days.

All in all, I seriously recommend this, even if you don't like BL as the romance doesn't really rely on bu*t stuff. It's crazy funny and a great story in every way. I seriously wish I could rate it ten stars instead of 5. You won't regret reading this! <<less

It's funny and it gives me a lot of giggles. There's overflowing meng and fluff in this one, so if you're into this kind of novel, then this is for you and highly recommended for sure.

Their relationship is smooth sailing until the "accident" that happened to our ML that test the MC's patience and love and in the process discovering a lot of things that he didn't know about his other half. Their love to each other is overflowing, the MC tried his best to understand his beloved while also... more>> "missing" the him who he knows for many years even when they are together.

The only thing that I didn't like is, after the 3rd "arc" everything becomes almost repetitive in some ways. The ML was always thinking of "bedding" the MC. IMHO, it could've been better if the author gave it more twist and serious tone for some arc, but of course the author probably wants it lighthearted and comedic.

Anyway, this is a good read for those who loves stories without complicated plots and angst. <<less
