miss ghost and mr. vixen romance haven't had any result yet. and it's kinda weird that mr. vixen want's to marry her even though he's gay himself, just because he want's a cub after seeing MC's cuteness? (can ghost and fox works out reproductively anyway?). I think it's more fun to keep them as besties and gave them more screen time for more comedic moments. it's not that their romance are not well executed but the reason behind it is a bit ehh...i think at the start he supposed to be the ML rather than Mr. si but don't know why the author changed it, cuz I definetly prefer him rather than this kind of mainstream rich, cold, and ofc he has a dragon gene ML

Dad's almost always gone after he can cook by himself. So most his childhood spended with the local policeman lol, can be developed more as a gimmicks but is not

he's a pixiu/panxiao? (idk how that spells), anyways it's a beast with some dragon feature that can brings fortune. so yeah, very rich also strong but idk why he on par with the 4 sacred beast (red birds, water turtle snake, white tiger, green/blue dragon) in terms of abilities? other than he's teritorry is smol why is a beast that brings fortune can fight well anyway when most of them has no fighting abiljty like bai ze and MC. I get that the 4 of them often short of hands and ML is their best candidate but he always ask for more treasure as his salary, but other than that it's kinda feels weak plotwise

MC is the only monster in present time that can make a spiritual painting, spiritual painting can effect emotions, feels like the painting came alive, and are useful for supernatural stuff too

1. MC's true body is a rock... yeah it's an awesome rock but still a rock...

2. While it's nice that the xianwu couple finally has their baby, I don't think it's necessary to make him very op. it feels like rubbing us more with the fact thst MC has no combat effectiveness

3. His dad could be handled better other than he's a fierce beast can never gets along with aupicious beast like ML and his crew. I get that one of the main thing author wants to convey is monster generally very indifferent in nature but adding more father-son bonding moment or character develpment will be nice (oh yeah, his dad is not a biological one, well yknow, cuz MC's a rock)

4. MC and ML adopts a baby corgi monster but are forgotten by the author after 3 chapter lol

5. Novel could have ended better sometimes after MC finally won that award, but as I said human side of thing are assumed not relevant anymore even though at least for me, is the thing that I think are the main charm of the novel

6. With the title 'monster apartement' I think it's more apt and interesting if it's a story about MC helping the other tenants while developing his carrer? but here's the tenants are just used as backround board/spectator of MC's and ML's dogfood even the most relevant ones (their direct neighbour, miss ghost and mr. vixen that I have forgetten their name of) are not metioned at the ending

7. The thing with MC growing period just ends up as a false alarm, even though I'm so hyped up for some accidents. He just naturaly passed it with no side effect cuz he ate a lot of spiritual rabbit's cooking. And there's literally no difference between his cub period and adult state except for more spiritualness or mana if you want to say it that way, that he can only use to paint more painting. There's not even a scene where's he out of spiritual power anyway, it's just useless plotwise smh
