This is kind of a let-down in recent chapters.

In the beginning, it had all the plot settings to take on TTSSG and with proper follow up it could have overtaken it in my heart but... the story had turned mediocre since, like it story has lost a goal or plot to focus on. It is just slice of life outside the game and completing tasks and beating dungeons inside the game. No more curveball elements, no ambition, those things have run their course. On the other hand, the characterization is top-notch, the MC and even his friends are not the good guys type, they are not to be messed with in RL either. The villians are real scumbags and not the cliche variety. I particularly loved Scumbag Wang and his berating of his subordinates for their low IQ, the best catchphrase award goes to him. Indeed he is one of the most memorable antagonists I've read.

The MC is great at making allies and comrades redeeming himself of his last life, there is good character development on this end. That's about it.

This is truly the epitome of Chinese web novels. An absolute classic and a genuine representative. And by that I mean for how shitty it is, how it actually manages to encompass all the clichés and how it really is just a big mess author poured all, and I truly mean every single one, of his feelings into.

If I were to unpack this novel I would say it's pretty much written by an angsty teenager who pours whatever he's feeling at the moment into words, eats them up and finally... more>> pukes them into this.

Whenever the author is feeling chauvinistic he will have the main character mol*ster and borderline r*pe one of the female leads or just command and humiliate them. Whenever he's h**ny he will have the MC having s*x or be 'caressing' (the way author puts it) one his many wives. Whenever our dearest author is feeling slighted by society he will have the MC best everybody in over-the-top power fantasy manner. And whenever the author finds something upsetting he might turn slightly racist by bashing on the west or Korea.

This book was truly one of a kind for having such an easy to read emotions put into it. So much so that I've never really experienced anything quite like it. There was this one segment about an idiotic demon character which the author named "Seumnida" and who was known for claiming ancestry of certain things and how he was the truly one and only originator of said thing. While I was reading this it just hit me, that day the author just happened to be mad at Koreans for claiming Kimchi was theirs so he wrote up such character, made him an absolute clown, humiliated him and then easily decimated him.

Anyway I feel like cutting off the review here so let me just compress the important things into numbers real quick to provide some actual value to you, the person reading this.

Story: 1, 5/5 - Standard cookie cutter. He fights, he wins. Slightly disappointed by the reincarnation plot device used so willy-nilly both for MC and against him. It was basically all-in-one tool for the author.

World building: 2/5 - Almost non-existent in the 'real world' but there were few good moments in the 'game world'

Translation: 5/5 - Easy on the eyes, can't recall any big mistakes.

Characters: 2/5 - Very one dimensional but recognizable. No growth on anyone really. <<less

Worst vr novel ive read! Im suprised theirs no drama tag in the genre. MC keeps replaying how miserable his life in the past about how he regreted he cheated and scam other people. MC has no brain cuz he thinks people will not hate him for what he did? My god brainless shit! This novel is also very boring its explains a lot of useless info like the boss is so powerfull it can 1 hit u, the boss is fast and theres traps on the dungeon blah blah... more>> blah! And the worst thing MC cant do anything even when he knows all this! Whats the point of him reincarnating if he is so useless now? No wonder he is so useless in his past life bec even with a cheat he cant do nothing. He invites random players and gets mock but still invited him/her bec he wants to show off! This happens everytime. I THOUGHT THIS WOULD BE LIKE RSSG BUT NO MC IS SUPER WEAK HERE AND GETS MOCK AND KEEPS GETTING PKED BY SOME RANDOM as*hole WHO DOESNT EVEN KNOW HIM <<less

Get This thing a drama tag. Half of the novel is telling us how miserable the MC was in the past life + some kind of s*upid interactions with harem members.

Out of nowhere comes the Domain power. Game breaking power dishing out millions of damage while without it the damage was not even 100k. Now people be going on and soloing 100 man raids like walk in the park

The Story iself is good. BUT

1. The In-Game Actions and works isnt explained or in most cases even logical.

2. The Interaction of the MC with his Harem doesn´t have much depth. At least 70% in the Whole Story is just teasing.

... more>> 3. In the Later Part of the Novel can Top-Players solo 5-Man Dungeons or even 50-Man Dungeons with easy.

4. The MC has a BIG advantage that he knows 8 Years of the Game´s Future, but even with that are there other player who are just 1 Step behind the MC.

And the Worst of all is the Translator of the Novel (Maybe? Not sure!) The Many parts of the Story that are even only R-13/R-15 are cut out. Heck even when the MC kisses his Lovers are cut out. If you Read the Novel like this you wouldn´t even know the MC HAS Lovers.

With the cut out Part the Novel would be 3, 8 Stars for me. Even with the In-Game Mechanic warped. But like this it is only 3 Starts for me. I still read the Novel but with help of the Raws. <<less

This novel was really interesting and engaging... at first. But as it progresses, it also becomes boring and a bit repetitive for me. It’s only good if you’re reading it if you have nothing to do or if you want to occupy yourself with something but if you want to read this for the plot and character development and all that whatnot, then don’t. There are a lot more better novels out there.

I like the series. I like that, unlike nearly every other reincarnation mmo story, the protagonist Li Yi is not frantically focusing on only getting strong enough to get revenge on such and such, and other than fixing some mistakes made in the past, he remains relatively light hearted throughout the story.

On a side note, the translator has been censoring several scenes in the story, and thus it feels like it's skipping about a LOT after the first 100 chapters or so up until several hundred chapters later. This is... more>> really annoying and although it doesn't affect the overall plotline, it makes the details particularly confusing unless you read the raw or use mtl to read it. <<less

it is interesting to read to pass time. MC is trying to change his life by not doing the things he did previously and not become a cheater. It usual he uses his game knowledge to become stronger and create a guild and so on. There are several love interest to choose from but I think it will go the harem route

Ah, so. 1.5k per chapter. That isn't bad, like, at all. However, the how the writing is developed, to the point where you just see some words and you tell yourself: Wait... is this?--- And then you go look for a word counter and is always around 1.5k words, most of the time... mhm.

Then, only the slightly attractive writing that I saw was... for those who ever got close to 2k words because, in those, Lord Dragon seemed to finally start to write rather than to write-until-filling-at-least-1.5k-words.

On the other hand,... more>> just like VRMMO: The Unrivaled, the author it's too lazy to let you feel that this is in fact a real game. Too much god damn ret*rded bullsh*t that would instantly kill any game at any epoch. And later on, if anything you can at least see the numbers of doing damage as well as some stats appearing and disappearing like they're either existing sometimes or simply not.

Ahhh, too damn bland and lazy. Below lighthearted and, honestly, I don't know who the MC is even though Lord Dragon explains it a lot every time. And explains lots of other things, lots of times. <<less

except for the first chapter there is not a SINGLE (yes, single) Menu Screen

too much miss translation about the damage value and the use of a weapon

There is not a single information about the general term of each class (except a couple) like what can paladin do, or weapon master, or druid.. Even though there is a “Author’s Note”, the information is not detailed and placed in the 700+ chapter I mean come on it a f*cking general term why do you put it in... more>> the latter half of the novel Dumbest <<less

Review made at ch 650, completed because its only few hundred chapter left but it still bad.

This novel could be junk food tier if author didnt kill his own novel with s*upid bullsh*t "Domain Power".

A super hard 500-men lv 100 dungeon can be cleared solo by lvl 100 archer with that. From doing 30k damage to boss become 10 mill damage when activate domain. Best tank in game getting hit by boss for 100k without domain but when DPS character using domain he get hit only 5k.

In PvP this domain... more>> power are more ridiculous. Aside from the boosted stats like in PvE it increase debuff immunity, reduce projectile speed, reduce enemy player movement, and come with broken skill. <<less
