After graduating, Shen NingXin became an intern at a company. The atmosphere in the company was nice, the work was relaxing, her coworkers all took care of her, except for her iceberg of a boss, who had a dark face all day and was devoid of any human feelings.

“This plan is unacceptable. Change it again.”

“What’s the matter with this form? How many times have I told you before?”

“If you can’t finish it today, don’t think about leaving tonight.”

Shen NingXin felt as though she must’ve committed a great sin in her last life to have such an unlovable boss in this one.

Until one day . . . she stumbled upon her boss’ Weibo alt account.

—After work today, nobody invited me for the group dinner. I’m so sad.

—Xiao Zhang went on a vacation and secretly brought back souvenirs for everybody, but there was nothing for me. I saw it all. QAQ

—Shen NingXin hasn’t talked to me the entire day. Did I make her hate me by scolding her too harshly yesterday . . .

If it weren’t for seeing the pictures in the photo album, Shen NingXin would’ve never believed that this was actually her boss.

It turned out that the iceberg was really a crybaby all along.

What was even more unexpected was that she was topped by such a crybaby and . . . couldn’t resist it.

Wow what a fun and fluffy series, I really loved this one to death from chap 1 to the end, its just so wholesome and fun while still maintaining enough drama and spiciness to keep you really interested and invested throughout the whole story.

Things here really aren't pure fluff, both our leads may seem a bit simple at first like other fluff story protagonists but theyre both dealing with some pretty intense emotional problems.

I dont want to spoil anything cuz getting to know them is the best part but just... more>> know that NingXin and the big crybaby are both women that are dealing with trust issues, depression and a lack of love really as chessy as it sounds, but well you'll hopefully be able to symphatize and understand when you read about them, now this is the type of fluff I like one with depth.

Both characters are quite likable and relatable in a sense to any introverts that suffer from social anxiety, Big Crybaby especially might seem too harsh and and dishonest when you first get to know her but Jesus, shes such a sweet cinnamon roll that its just too diabetes inducing, no joke some of the things she does also brought a tear to my eye from this mix of sadness, pity and happiness, shes just so fragile under that cold CEO exterior.

And I've read quite a bit of those Cold CEO is actually very emotional and whatnot but this big crying bag is probably my favorite embodiment of that trope.

The relationship takes just a little while to form but its not irksome or annoying on account of both characters having such personalities, the confession is also soooo damn good haha, it was heartfelt I loved it.

Both women are able to develop and grow thx to each other and they're both sweet, considerate and very likable, I just really loved the growth they both experienced and this truly is a love story where they both fell for each other cuz they were truly right for each other you know, 2 puzzle pieces that fit perfectly due to their situations.

And well sure the side characters and world are a bit underdeveloped but even they were used in an appropriate and correct way, MCs friends meeting the big crying bag especially is such a sweet and special moment hahaha trust me it'll get you right in the feels, you just want to give her a hug and tell her its all right lol shes so insecure and fragile, I know some people at first might think shes petty and annoying but guys her circumstances really messed her up and while we just get some snippets of it here and there this novel does a perfect utilizing a Show don't Tell approach, we can really see how much the big crying bags childhood had an affect on her through her actions and what she says.

No like really guys if you're paying attention you'll really feel for our sweet Crybaby, MC too lol, I've been talking too much about the FL cuz I love her to death but the MC NingXin is also very likable and nuanced herself.

Also the author actually utilizes the stories premise till the very end and its actually quite important and that's a big + in my eyes lol, I do hate it when a premise like this is used 1 time and just like that whoosh its forgotten, not here sirs and madams MC checking the crying bag's trumpet twitter account is always either important and actually quite vital in various points throughout the story or just super funny and lovable, much respect to the author for actually living up to their premise.

I just need to give this baby 5 stars cuz even though its not the deepest story ive read or with the best characterization it was super enjoyable, lovable, sweet and interesting from beginning to end and that's what I look for most of the time, not just to be entertained but for a story to capture me and this one did. <<less

I love the novel and I love how the cold president is basically a little rabbit inside and I like how cute she is and especially how Shen NingXin spoils her overall it's a good novel it can make you cry but it will be in the middle chapters or near the end and it will make you want a lover 🤧

Very cute, MC accidentally found FL’s weibo and realize FL cold persona hide a naive crybaby. And would coax her like a 2 and half year old.

There’s this scene where FL decided to buy pastries for MC to make up after an argument but happened to come across MC talking happily to a man (Mc’s cousin) at that same shop. FL thought to herself that MC never smiled to her so happily and that they weren’t actual friends but employer and subordinate. To FL, who doesn’t have any friends due to her cold face, this really impacted her. Misunderstanding, FL returns back to her office and cries. (MC actually went to go buy pastries for FL). Anyways, MC realized FL was there and quickly ran back to the office, certain that FL misunderstood and is now sulking. When she arrived, FL was crying at lot, red eyes, her makeup was running, wet tissues everywhere. MC couldn’t take it anymore and quickly went to coax FL and wipe her tears. MC apologies to FL and cleared up the misunderstanding. They eat pastries together and made up.

P.S. The reason for the argument is because FL saw Mc’s nickname for her. MC has her as 2 and half year old on her contact

P.S.S MC found out that FL has multiple boxes of milk, so she can still grow taller.

I love this. This is wholesome and fluffy without much drama, which can be very nice once in a while. The lead's interactions are funny, and the misunderstandings don't get into the territory of being annoying (though they can be somewhat unrealistic at times). Perfect materials for me to just sit back, relax and have a good time with after a rough day.

However, did the translator drop this? In the last few chapters, they did mention that the translation will be slowing down, but there hasn't been an update in... more>> 6 months. Previous reviewers stated that they have read the full translated novel, but the only other translation I can find is MTL, which isn't really a choice for me, since I can't enjoy the story if I can't even understand what is going on. I would love nothing more than smy picking this up again, or anyone else that can translate as well as smy have.

Edit: I have finished it, and I absolutely love this story. This is primarily a fluffy yuri story, so there isn't too much drama, just the right amount for this type of story imo. I enjoyed their interactions very much, and the FL's gap moe is very cute. I can't go into more details without spoiling anymore than the synopsis, and I want to recommend anyone else interested in fluffy yuri to read this, so I'll keep this review spoiler-free. Overall, easy 10/10 for me. Perfect story to de-stress to after a long day. <<less

the title of this novel put me off because I thought the FL was going to be annoying so I have been skipping over this novel BUT one day I ran out of yuri so... I gave this one a chance.

omg. why am I so s*upid I actually skipped over such a cute and good novel!! they need to rename this novel. the title throws people off.

the FL is not annoying at all. I feel like she grew up in a strict household -she never really got to experience life.

MC-... more>> ah why can't we have more MC like this. she communicates and clarifies misunderstandings with FL! this MC needs to open up a class and teach MC in other novels the importance of communication lol <<less

Positively surprised to see this being translated. I haven't finished this story yet but it's very sweet so far and I doubt that will change. MC's and FL's dynamic is hilarious, MC knows that FL is a crybaby but FL is deliberately acting tough on the outside, hiding her tears and emotions. This leads to a lot of funny, but also sometimes very sweet/pure moments and you cannot help but shed some tears here and there too. And in the next moment you roll your eyes again or facepalm (in... more>> a positive way!), just because the situation is just so hilarious.

Anyway, expect a lot of fluff and amusing moments. I'm very glad to see this being picked up because more people should read it :) <<less

Rereading this again, and it still brings me a lot of joy, so sweet and fluffy. A true drama free baihe novel.

Their romance developed slowly, but it was not boring given how Shen Ningxin spoiled Qiu Yibai in almost every chapter and gave her time to overcome her inferiority complex, which shouldn't have existed for someone who had both the look and status like QYB. This just goes to show that everyone has their own problems, and whether they want to express this or not.

Highly recommend that people read this one. The MC (Ning Xin) just happened to find the FL's (Yi Bai) account and since the account was set to public she read her posts. Sure she could've left it alone and stopped reading after finding it once but honestly I would've kept reading it too... the power of gap moe (and nosyatia). Anyway, even before they started dating Yi Bai has always been attentive and thoughtful, even if she is immature, and Ning Xin goes out of her way to make sure... more>> Yi Bai is alright and accompanies her a lot. I loved their friendship and how at that time when NX coaxed YB it felt like she was coaxing her lover. They both cared for each other deeply even as friends, and just when I thought this couldn't possibly get any more sweeter, it did! They start dating and all they care about is making sure the other person is happy and taken care of. It's just so tender and heartwarming. They have such a healthy relationship, although the secretly reading of Weibo posts might be a bit iffy NX never used that knowledge in a bad way, she just wanted to check on YB's true feelings and she never pressured her into doing anything harmful or not good so I was okay with it.

Something interesting I noticed was the author didn't give the reader all of the information about the characters right when the story began. So as the characters got to know each other slowly we also get a few glimpses of their past at the same time (but they won't reveal their pasts to each other just yet.) The hints were sprinkled throughout the story so I thought that was a nice touch. Once they've finally decided they were okay to reveal their past it was in a respectful manner but also it was simple, not like a grand reveal, which was nice because it felt different compared to what I'm normally used to when I'm reading baihe. Even if this story was mainly sweet and fun the characters still had substance, it didn't feel forced or rushed. It's a slice of life type of story that I know people would appreciate. <<less

very very fluffy and wholesome, but also unbearably slow. It bothers me how their relationship makes real progress, but then she forgets everything because she was drunk, and it resets again. Still the characters are so sweet and lovely I can't help but gush.

I read the whole story on MTL and loved it very much. The whole story is mostly fluffy and tooth-rotting. If you love sweet stories, then you'll surely like this. That is if you get past the initial impression of the FL. But, really, it's worth the read.

This was a great story and nearly got me diabetes! Thank God my working out everyday saved me from too much sugar and dog food quantity.

Coldness shown by almost all bigshots sometimes are either because of their tragic past or their nature with which they were born with or grew up in such an environment. But some show coldness as facade for their real nature which maybe sweet, overbearing, protective, possessive or others but to hide their weakness mainly while dealing with other companies and in negotiations with others so... more>> that other party doesn't get a hold of you.

A person cannot be simply judged by their facial expressions or behaviour they show in front of others or in working environment because they may well be hiding their hobbies or childish tendencies in their private life and might just be completely opposite of what they show to others.

This story is certainly a great example of this sentence and I hope that every one reads the story especially yuri genre people. I am also a yuri fan. <<less

This was lovely to read, absolute fluff and sugar, almost too much that it makes my chest hurt.

I loved the MC, although being an intern shes very attentive, hardworking and kind towards others, especially the president.

Although there were a little drama sometimes, they were resolved very fast which did not ruin my mood when reading. :)
