I feel like this ended very abruptly...I mean, it is only 15 chapters, but still, just not having a conclusion feels pretty odd. Just because a story is short, doesn't mean it should skip things or be rushed. Especially with a web novel where the author should have total freedom over the volume of the text.

I liked the characters - Xie Lan is very sweet, naive and straightforward, while Qi Qi is carefree, extroverted and warm - but things developed really fast (even for lesbians). Like, Qi Qi wakes up... more>> married, and she's mad, but five minutes later she's just like 'eh, whatever, my parents are your parents, we're family now' like what? And then on the other hand, we have useless lesbian Xie Lan stumbling her way through 'how to communicate with your wife 101' without picking up the prequels 'making conversation' and 'romance for noobs', which is very adorable, and slows things down, until it doesn't and the author decides to wrap things up. (By wrap things up I mean end a random chapter and call it done)

I was kind of expecting to read more fluff about them slowly getting to know each other, and learn about living together - but it ends before the marriage ceremony, and all we've learned is: Xie Lan is a good cook; she doesn't like Qi Qi calling her viewers casually; she's oblivious to her own popularity; and that they are mutually affectionate - but they're like that from like two days after their marriage. The two actually have interesting backstories that sound like they should give them depth, but they come up once or twice, and then the story doesn't actually have enough chapters to ever develop the seeds that were planted.

Idk, I like the fluff, I love fluffy yuri, but it feels like the author had a story, and then for some reason abandoned it, just leaving us with these 15 chapters that don't really go anywhere after the opening drama. I would have like to see more of this, a bit like Tonikawa, it doesn't need to be full of events, it could just bob along for a bit longer, show some character/relationship development...

Such a cute and fluffy story! I'm glad that I was able to read this, it's so refreshing in the sense it was just them building their relationship. I definitely want an after-story of them being together acting all cute.

The Yao mother was such a witty, desperate, but lovable mother.

The FL, Xin Lan, was a mood killer, insensitive fool, but pure hearted human being.

The MC, Yao QiQi was a charming, understandable, and down to earth streamer.

Imagine the combination of these 3 in a novel?? Sure will bring a smile on your thin lips.

my bar is very low for Gl novels, I will read anything, but this one is just very bad? Completely nonsensical. I guess its cute? I like both characters, and they're charming enough for me to think that if only the writer wrote an actual story, it would be good.

So I've read this a few times mainly because there aren't that many completed yuri stories on here. I loved the translation/translator so much so I'm reading more on their site. Nope, sorry not buying it. XL's POV I can buy it's the whole premise of the story she fell in love at first sight and proceeded to what ever she could think of to get her girl with the limitations she has (I agree with @Meloonseed she probably is a highly functioning autistic). But YQQ none of her behavior can be explained that way unless you say she's just that big a sucker for a pretty face and XL is a rebound... in which case poor XL. But to be clear...I did actually like it it's just YQQ was very unrealistic. <<less

It's fun, short and sweet. I found the protagonist very cute, I love her personality, but the love interest, despite not seeing anything much, didn't attract my attention as much. The two came together abruptly, which is normal because of the plot, but I missed something there. I mean, hug your wife, d*mmit! She deserves to be pampered!

It's a pretty cute story but there really isn't much substance or plot going on, I didn't mind it as I also sometimes enjoy 'no plot just vibes' stories, although it did feel kind of off because of how fast YQQ warmed up to XL and I kind of expected more resistance from her since she was not very into XL at first (also she just kept saying yes to the wedding and her parents lol it felt a bit like ancient China where anything the parents says goes) but... more>> there was none of that. Even among other short story romances, this is really lackluster. It feels like the author simply placed two characters next to each other and was like 'now kiss!'. There is no chemistry, the reactions of the characters are just... blatantly unrealistic? Even with the love at first sight premise, it is just completely nonsensical, and unfortunately, that majorly takes away from any enjoyment that could be gained from reading this.
