Chapter 27 the couple have their first kiss which was very uncomfortable to read. The ML forces a kiss on the FL. The FL in true Chinese novel fashion goes from trying to resist- feeling helpless- to submitting to the kiss. Not very romantic. The ML later think about how he wasn't really drunk and just thought that the atmosphere was right and suitable to kiss and how he couldn't control himself. So those are the reasons why he SA's his own wife.

I talked about Hou Qidong and Zhou Xue. Hou Qidong always treated ML as his rival and didn't hesitate to snatch what once ML's just to annoy him. And Zhou Xue was a gold digger that want to latch onto a rich man to live an extravagant life. She set her eyes on Huo Qidong but at the same time, she also casted her net to ML. Then ML pretended to hopelessly fell in love with Zhou Xue and successfully made Huo Qidong married her in the end.

Well, first an foremost, it wasn't mentioned when or what the MC's life before, though it was stated in some chapter (as she says) that she was indeed transmigrated in a novel where her friend used to read. Correct me if I'm wrong but her friend was obsessed in reading the novel because her friend's name is the same as the FL, Su Ran, that's why MC (Chen Jinyao) remembered the novel's plot later on. It really gives her anxiety and insecurities with her relationship with the Protagonist (ML, Yan Cheng) since she's aware that plot-sama in some novels are powerful. But worry not, since she or her hubby (ML) blocked the number of Huo Qidong (the reason of the divorce of the OG novel's plot) , then it's a butterfly effect, she changed her destiny and have a happy life together with her hubby.

I kinda like the character of the ML. Although at first, I find him a bit annoying and kinda have prince-like attitude 🙄 (he is the youngest of the 6 siblings and was spoiled by his mother) , he knows how to give way to his wife (MC). He got mature through time though sometimes teases his wife in a loving way (I don't want this dogfood 😂). He matures in such a way like stopping his smoking habit for their future kid's health, investing in a more secure business for his dreamed daughter's money stash 😅, and being a reliable hubby to his wife and father to his children.

Speaking of his children 🤭 , he wanted to have a daughter first and was obsessed with it 😏 but fate gives him a son who wants to snatch his wifey during the wedding ceremony 😂.

Also, when the daughter was born, the son is already 8 or something at that time.

Both love to have a daughter/sister in the family and both dotes on her to the point that the daughter feels she was getting fat 😅. The father-son duo who dotes on her keeps saying that it was the dress's fault 🤭 but thankfully, mother MC is still the best in disciplining the children, telling her to have a proper diet to not be obese in the future.

All in all, I love the extras. It's about the children's interactions and some glimpse of their future.
