I don't even want to bring this up but I've seen so many people keep saying FL had trauma, has depth, returned back in time... etc. But nah, idk what they've read but didn't she only dreamt them? I clearly recalled she didn't really turn back in time cause she just dreamt them with the magic of the locket she has. Also trauma? Nah, it's just readers inputting their own feelings into it feeling bad for her cause reading it as someone with neutral feelings, I can clearly say, she didn't have strong clear trauma and every traumatic events she recalled in her head, didn't show of her having trauma over it. She was just monologuing like telling a story as if saying what had happened but wasn't really feeling traumatic over it. It does pertain to some of her decision making but none of these "traumatic" past events really had much trauma to her outside of these decision making. Like She remembered her "previous" stepson, and that just made her want to help sponsor him and she remembered herself being sold, so she told Hugh to help the other princesses, but none of these feelings are shown in other times outside of the one time when she made the decisions. Same with her decision to make a marriage contract with Hugh. It showed the "traumatic event" for a bit, then she make the decision, and that was it with that event and she lived a happy life for like a huge portion of the story, until she decided to make another decision again, and the "traumatic event" get brought up again.

Also that side story where she dreamt that ML could have end up with her in another "timeline" was so random. Did the author just randomly put that there just so it can make their love "fated" so it can be a meaningful love story cause it just made me cringe more than feel their love was great since it felt so forced.

Also so many plot device. Like how she coincidentally had taken the medicine to prevent her from getting pregnant. How she had the locket that lets her dream of other scenerios. How she coincidentally is fated with ML when that wasn't brought up at all or hinted in main story. No good foreshadowing, no good characterization. Lots of just narrating and insert events that are randomly placed to make ML more jealous to show his obsession or show how nice FL is. They don't bring in depth to them.

Also yeah.... smut is bland. Almost always ML initiating it and they do the same thing. I don't remember reading new poses, or new places. Mostly just ML on top of her and in their bedroom. Nothing new. Also the smut has no meaning to them so they're just inserted to show how h**ny ML is. Written just for fans, but boring?

Both ML and FL are very mature when handling their relationship. Most of the time, whenever problem arises, they try talk about it. Ofc there are some hiccups here and there.

Book 5 was rather slow and full of fillers, but it's fluff so I don't mind.
