When I found out that this novel will have a drama adaptation released soon (with Lin Yi as the male lead), I automatically give it a try! Didn't regret MTL this, finished reading in 2 days. Really love the characters. The storyline is very good too. Author did a good job writing this. It's so fluffy, no angst until near the end (just a little bit, but the plot twist tho). Definitely one of my favourites!! Will reread it when the translation is completed. ^^

I loved the first half of this book, but found that I can't finish it after getting to the first fight. The way the couple acts starting around the 45th chapter annoyed me to bits. I guess I have to remind myself that even the "old cow" eating tender grass isn't that old (or mature). It's funny how in her rationalization, she thinks she is the nurturing adult who can help accompany the other to grow up. She was more correct when she was rationalizing dating the college student -... more>> she's never grown up mentally, so isn't honestly that different from the college student.

I also agree with the translator, the fl's comparison of her chosen love and the more mature love option she had was pretty distasteful, and just goes to show how immature her views on relationships are. It's also a bit disappointing that this comparison suggests that she knew intuitively that the mature guy was pursuing her, but did nothing to dissuade him. She waxes lyrical on how she wants the young, passionate, single-minded devotion from a young man rather than the rational, responsibility-juggling feelings from an older one. But relationships between most couples evolve, and a stable relationship takes into consideration each partner's career and responsibilities. As someone who has made career decisions and done calculated stints of long distance with my partner, and whose partner has in turn applied for jobs with my career in mind, the way the FL reacted to realizing her fervant fan-turned-private-gaming-booster-turned-boyfriend actually had a life and aspirations outside dating her was mind boggling.

I guess this is a fictional romance, so I can't judge the FL too harshly. These traditional romances always have passionate love stories where the couple puts each other and their love above all else. Where they immediately know they're soul mates, tell each other everything, and sacrifice everything for each other. If I had only read the first half, the story would be sweet and fluffy and inspiring. Look, love transcends age and status, it can blossom without either having even met. Isn't this sweet? <<less

I really loved this story. Love, growth, reality all blended beautifully. The plot or the characters are not extraordinary but the emotional experience is mindblowing. Lots of comedies is just the icing on the cake.

The drama is one of my all time favorites so imagine my excitement when I found it was adapted from a webnovel!!! I haven't finished my reading (Big thanks to the translator for their dedication) but every day I faithfully log in to check for an update. I love it that much!

I read this novel immediately after I read a 1400 chapter OP Mary Sue novel and it was just what I needed.

This is a light, sweet romance with realistically flawed protagonists. They made mistakes, they misjudged people and then changed their perceptions. They fought, talked to each other, and resolved their issues

I enjoyed the romance and the side characters, who were also realistic

The translator did a wonderful job. I highly recommend this novel

The first few chapters were really boring that I almost dropped it. However, when the romance started to bloom, it gets interesting.

To be quite fair, the MCs were both flawed and it's vividly shown. Not hidden nor unmentioned. It's not like there's a text saying what's their imperfections, however, how they react and think were enough to see what are their flaws.

Nevertheless, I quite like the flawed FL. She's full of imperfections, but at same time, she has some strong points which can cover her flaws. Let's set aside her passion for music and beauty, she's decisive and rational. She can be mature and cute. I also like the wolf-pup ML who successfully brought his idol home. He's just too cute and sweet. The ML's dorm mates were also adorable and funny, what they did just to let the two of them took a graduation picture was just funny but sweet. How loyal. To be quite fair, I actually like a lot of characters here, there's not actually mang characters to hate. The ML's family were carefree and lovable. The FL's family were also like that. All the relevant characters are funny and outgoing, there's only one villain who's not even qualified to be called a villain.

In short, the story is pretty much lighthearted (minus the mental health issues). It's a short but sweet fast read. Although there's some loose threads, it doesn't have much impact to the story anyway. The translation is very good so reading was more enjoyable. Overall, it's a 9.5/10 (the subtracted.5 was due to the slightly boring beginning)
