With the rising tide of steam power and machinery, who can come close to being a Beyonder? Shrouded in the fog of history and darkness, who or what is the lurking evil that murmurs into our ears?

Waking up to be faced with a string of mysteries, Zhou Mingrui finds himself reincarnated as Klein Moretti in an alternate Victorian-era world where he sees a world filled with machinery, cannons, dreadnoughts, airships, different machines, as well as Potions, Divination, Hexes, Tarot Cards, Sealed Artifacts…

The Light continues to shine but mystery has never gone far. Follow Klein as he finds himself entangled with the Churches of the world—both orthodox and unorthodox—while he slowly develops newfound powers thanks to the Beyonder potions.

Like the corresponding tarot card, The Fool, which is numbered 0—a number of unlimited potential—this is the legend of “The Fool”.

Tldr: DON'T TWIDDLE YOUR FINGERS THINKING AND GO READ LORD OF THE MYSTERIES

(Now for a lengthy review)

I've decided to reread this story from the beginning as I had reached the latest chapter and what I found was GOLD.

... more>> I marvel at how well planned the story is. There are concepts, laws, and details that are not explained but consistent in the story. You learn them along with the lore and history of this world alongside our main character.

There is information that I took for granted while reading, but when I went back and read the first chapter when these concepts were not introduced I realized just how well this story is planned and fleshed out.

Things happening in the early chapters can be explained by the laws that are explored in the latter chapters, from the big revelations to the small details there is a governing law and logic to it.

The quality of the story is consistent from its everyday mundane scenes to the adrenalin filled action scenes that the protagonist finds himself in. This world felt alive to me, I could laugh alongside the protagonist, I snicker at his internal comments, I felt his pain and I felt his tension whenever things go wrong or situations pop up.

Some people might not agree with the pacing and I understand that. The pacing is a slow burn but it is well written in a way that I can enjoy each step and that it doesn't feel like a burden to tread through. Although slow it is truly worth it! This is a work I thoroughly enjoy and would like more people to know of and savour.

There are not enough words and praises for me to express how much I love this novel but I do know that this came from the hands of a very good author.

His other works also are ones that I keep tabs on constantly and wait baitingly for a new chapter.

I have a huge trust in this author and I can tell you that you are in good hands when you pick his novels. <<less

Everything about this novel is great. Interesting and unique characters with will of their own, with their own goals and plans. World is intriguing, shrouded in the the fog of mystery. Power system is kind of simple but at the same time is very complex. MC is neutral and logical throughout the novel. And mysteries are woven together like a whole, no inconsistencies.

MC is a transmigrator (not the only one), who is trying to reach to the top of the world so he can go back to earth. But the... more>> world isn't so simple. Everything about this world is a huge question mark. Each unknown big shot is playing this chess, where every step is death. And our MC is just a newcomer who is trying hard, to eliminate his status as a PAWN.

Our MC has a cheat, TARROW SOCIETY (based on tarrow cards). It is like a under ground trading organisation. There are 6 normal gods who are still alive and many fallen evil gods and angels who are trying to revive. Everyone is trying to become a God. The ultimate power holder, but Gods also aren't omnipotent. Many of them have also died. So, our MC is playing this game of chess by his another fake identity of MR. FOOL, a fallen God, who is trying to revive. Identity of Mr. Fool as a god is fake and MC is trying to build his own benefit oriented influence.

Everything about this novel is great.

(some people may find monologues of characters irritating but I find them enjoyable)

Anyway, give this novel a try.

At present this novel is my favourite one. Why ? Let me describe few things.

There is no harem yet this novel is very good.

MC reincarnated in another world and start his journey in the filed of mysteries.

The novel is well written and the author and translator both update 2-3 chapters every single day which is great.

I love this novel, the supernatural part reminds me of the scp foundation, especialy with the artefacts. The writing is excellent and the novel gets better as the story goes on.

Decent novel so far. It has unique power levels/power (one of the reason I started reading the novel). A decent average MC. And some okay side characters. Nothing too exciting has happened in the chapters I have read. We are still getting introduced towards the story I feel like, so I am expecting it to get better in the future chapters.

Edit: Ch 248

This novel has taken a dramatic turn after the 1st 100 ch. The first 100 ch seems like a introduction/world building from the author to make sure he... more>> has a good base to build up on. I advise all readers to stick around till roughly ch 100-120 thats when the story really picks up. All I can say is that its a unique story with an amazingly good world building, unique/non OP MC and some good side characters. I recommend everyone to give this novel a shot. <<less

10/10 best chinese novels currently, not even close to reverend insanity. I dropped that after 1000+ chapters. Arguably, this has less chapters but I never lost interest to read.

FYI: the novel's start is slow. VERY slow. The climax of arc 1 (200+) is what really kicks off the journey for this.

First, I would like to say, don't trust the reviews from those who didn't get past 200, the chapters before are pure world building to immerse you within the world. The start is quite painful, but not that bad when... more>> you compare it to the other book of the author, Embers Ad Infinitum. That was truly painful but it was worth it. Fortunately, Book 2 is very fast-paced, because the world is already built in Book 1, at the cost of having new readers read Book 1, or just deal with the info dump.

Second, dont compare this to Reverend Insanity, that novel is a dumpster fire that everyone praises for some reason. It was quite good until it got stale and boring. Basically that MC is a psychopath that kills everyone for no reason whatsoever other than give the insecure manchilds the adrenaline rush of completely overpowering and committing mass genocide against people who said a "your mom" joke.

Third, plot is pure story-telling. Pure. Storytelling. No cliche, No harem, No romance, Just pure storytelling. If you want actual, fleshed-out characters that has a sense of soul, congrats. Side characters don't simply exist for the sole purpose of drowning in awe of the MC's pure swag and overpoweredness. Something that CN, heck, even JP novels always tend to do for absolutely no f*cking reason.

Slight Spoilers for Volume 1:

Spoiler

MC reincarnates into a person's body, took over and meets the sister and brother of the original siblings. Rather than throwing away the characters and never mentioning them again, the MC treats them as real siblings and took care of them

Later in the story, Sometimes perspective switches to them, showing us a side of normal people and how they perceive the world, since Beyonders (people with powers), are hidden among people and aren't known to the general public, like fantastic beasts, if ykyk.

[collapse]

Overall, underrated novel, basically peak of Chinese novels. Pure action and story-telling, no random romance, no bs cliche, MC can be a badass in certain arcs, deaths of characters are well-written, especially those in leadership positions (spoiler hehe). <<less

This is a special novel. We get a compelling character who strives to do good yet finds himself operating in grey areas. Sometimes he helps the orthodox establishment, sometimes he does subversive things in secret, at others he is feared as both a hunter and mu*der of a certain class of person. He transmigrates to a new world confused and desperate to get home, but find some semblance of stability in the people around him. He first imitates his role models and by the end of the book he is... more>> imitated by others in turn.

The journey is long but is rather fulfilling, as there are several things going for it. One is the world with it's mild steampunk and Victorian era spin, full of its mysteries, long histories and haunting truths. The other is the power system; literally hundreds of potions and rituals that lead to the levels in the book's world. The 'beyonders' as they are called fight in teams most of the time, often making synergy the deciding factor. In solo fights it's information, preparation and wits, that makes a victor. So, there is dynamism in fights in the sense that ones rank isn't the only thing that matters, rather what comes into play is how your abilities counter the person, what items you have, or what the side effects of their items have. This, as well as the bizarre and mysterious nature of the supernatural abilities keeps the combat interesting even at the higher levels, which is a common problem for webnovels.

There are many compelling mysteries in this novel, as the title suggests, which informs how you should approach it. Mainly, that your full attention is required, as something mentioned at chapter 50 may only be revealed at chapter 500. If you commit, I can confirm you will be rewarded. The novel does a good job of giving several short term mysteries for every long term one, which gives you the feeling of discovering the truth constantly alongside the main character. That benign question you have about a topic may in fact have a sinister implication that comes to haunt the MC in the next arc. And the mysteries also have a Lovecraft horror theme to them, one of which made me look at our moon and nope the f*ck out to my bedroom after receiving the answer to one of the longest running mysteries in the novel (I'm an adult).

One of the most interesting things about this world was its long history. There are 5 known epochs, the story taking place in the late fifth, but events that happened in the fourth still have a strong influence on the current timeline. I won't get into details, one because I don't have many, but from what I gathered some pretty serious Game of Thrones level intrigue went down leaving various tasty breadcrumbs for the MC to discover and piece together. That was one thing I haven't seen done anywhere else quite as well as this.

The intrigue between characters was also well done. Former foes become friends under pressure. Every question you ask can reveal your associations. Playing dumb might just save your life. You have what he needs, but he doesn't have anything you want. Are you using them or are they using you? Can you take care of the body? A big shot was seen in the area looking for you. Those are just some of the feelings the characters get throughout. Nervous allies, untrustworthy benefactors, and the occasional pure motivations make for a great story. I wholeheartedly recommend. <<less

Lives up to the hype 100%. There's a reason why LotM is almost always topping the lists of must-read bestest-bests (right up there next to Reverend Insanity).

You can't talk about LotM without mentioning the worldbuilding. Many love it, some hate it, others kinda learn to fall in love with it. I was never too big a fan of how intricately every detail was described and how thoroughly the world's history was built out-- it was a bit too much to keep in mind all at once. Though, I would agree... more>> that the power system has an undeniable "cool factor", and could easily impress crowds during those "what would be your ideal superpower" icebreaker sessions.

Regardless of how you end up feeling about the intensive/excessive world building, it doesn't really detract from the main selling point of LotM: its PLOT. Each story arc builds up to a climax that's stunningly intense but also deeply meaningful. When you think of LotM you think of these legendary moments that define it, like how the "I-am-your-father" scene in Star Wars or the opening montage of Pixar's Up will always live timelessly in the legacies of those films/franchises.

As for the ending: it was decent. The arc climaxes were each better than the ending to the novel as a whole, but I'm willing to be somewhat lenient since when you're dealing with powers at the level of gods of gods, it's hard to avoid some degree of confusion. A passable or even mediocre dessert at the end of a 3 Michelin star meal won't ruin the memory of the whole 12-course foodgasm experience.

The ~1400 chapter ride is more than worth your commitment, and any time spent reading these reviews instead of actually reading LotM is just time wasted. <<less

Amazing author.

The most amazing part of this story is that EVERY side character develops with our MC. Even side characters like captain doesn’t fade away without meaning, his death was essential for our MC and was even able to move me.

I’m not a fan of horror mysteries because I never thought words could be story but damn, this changed my mind. The way the author writes this story makes my hair stand up. Especially with other characters such as Amon, one of the biggest cons of this story. The way... more>> this author phrased and created this character is too f*cking psychotic. I almost stopped reading because I was scared as f*ck and almost lost hope with the MC. The abilities are well described but damn its borderline annoying and borderline horrific. F*ck Amon.

Yes this story might suffer from a book disease called having too many “details” but I’d rather read something like this than Warlock of the Magus world where the MC fights and even the readers don’t know what abilities the MC has <<less

I agree with Syntheticspi and WhyfriezaWhy. While I think this novel is good, I cant help feeling a bit bizzared why cant I say I like this novel but now I have just realized. MC is not a person of this world so he is not attached to ANYTHING but only hope to come back to his real world, Earth. That's the reason why I almost cannot see his real emotion, reading this novel is like drinking a plain glass of water.

However, there's more than that like I say earlier... more>> about the thing I've just realized why I dont like his character at all. Because his action is exactly the same as the news, real situations, real crisis here in Thailand. We desperately hope for justice NOW but it's like there is no hope. The mu*derous caseS became accident because the power of money and Big Boss, the police help the suspects eventhough millions ppl shout for justice for the most famous case but still failed.

MC in this novel also ignores and refuses to help ppl he can help and simply discard the feeling of his siblings just because he loves his life much more to care for other ppl. He was resurrected then he left his family with tremendous grief behind just like that with the reason for their safety... hey you can leave a note like 'wait for me, dangerous, dont ask' at least to calm and console them a bit. You know, who never lost someone they love will never understand how hard to survive and to live with that sad and lost feeling. The one behind is more miserable that the one is gone. Two main exemples why I say I cannot see his emotion in this novel. He only cares for two things; his life and his benefits. He never does anything good for other without benefits. This character does not suit my taste at all. It's not that I am good and everybody has to care everyone, but at least please show your human side. The world now needs ppl with human side, care a bit for ppl around you, pls help if you can. This MC is so selfish that I am very disappinted. <<less

This is hands down one of the best webnovels I have had the pleasure of reading. It has a vast amount of lore, interesting power systems, an enjoyable cast, a great MC, and overall the plot and setting are very well done. It can certainly at times be quite dense with info drops, and can thus be a bit confusing; also, it does have some rather slow moments, but the build-up tends to pay off rather well.

However, it is very obvious that the author put a lot of time and... more>> effort into writing this novel, and it shows. The world is beautiful, complex, and horrifying in equal measures, with a lot of detail and research put into it. Sometimes this can be a fault, as it goes into explaining things that I find aren't fully necessary for the story, but these explanations can be interesting and generally have some purpose.

The MC is one of my favourite types of characters. He's cautious, intelligent, and cunning. Sometimes I felt he was a little too cautious, but given the world he's in usually whenever I thought that I remembered how terrifying the world he's in is. Also, his internal voice is very enjoyable to read.

As far as side characters go, most are well-developed as far as the "main" ones go. Some of these side characters fell a little flat for me, but weren't necessarily terrible. I feel like the novel could have expanded on their purpose and "character" in the stories, and sometimes it felt a bit like they were an afterthought. On that note, though, a number of "main" side characters were rather well-written and developed, and generally fun to read about or in the perspective of. Also, there are no love-interests for the MC, which I actually quite like. I often don't like romance in non-romance novels (for a variety of reasons) and I feel in this particular novel such a relationship would likely have been actively detrimental. There is certainly several good instances of platonic or familial love in the novel, but anything actually romantic is between other characters, and even then there's not a lot of it.

I won't go into too much detail with the plot, but needless to say it is quite the thriller. Horror is one of my favourite genres, but it can be hard to write sometimes--I think this novel knocks it out of the park. The horror is satisfying, and integral to the story, but also isn't all there is to it. There's mystery, a journey of self-identity, building of relationships, comedy, tragedy, thriller, and more. Overall, a good and complex mix sprinkled with terrifying.

Basically: if you don't mind the occasional dense info dump, some slower paced chapters here and there, and are okay with horror, this could be a great read for you. There is a vast world and plot to be explored, and though time-consuming (with over 1000+ chapters) I feel that it's all worth it in the end. <<less

Hello, I want to address Night Ghost's review.

As an avid LotM fan, your review does not make sense whatsoever.

Originally, like many here. I held your review with high regards however as I read on and on. I felt the need to come back and puzzle over your words. Let's start of with the very first issue you presented.

"Klein Moretti: the hypocrite"

Spoiler

If not the Evernight goddess, who else? Who do you expect our main character to be? An overpowered guy who goes slapping people left and right? This is not that type of story.

At that time, Klein was in need of a sugar mommy or a sugar daddy to support him. And at that time, it just so happened to be The Evernight goddess. Afterall, don't you know? It's better to work with something you know then contact the unknown. This is something heavily enforced repeatedly throughout the story. So to be frank, I don't quite understand why working with the Evernight goddess based on your reasoning is a hypercritical action by Klein. What else was he supposed to do? Even though he's amazing as is, sometimes you hit a wall and simply need a hand.

[collapse]

Now it's time to address the most disappointing part of your review.

"Audrey hall : the laziest Mary Sue."

Spoiler

"Audrey Hall is a spoiled kindhearted rich noble lady whose hobby is flaunting her money while the poor is dying because of poverty and has never accomplished anything on her own. Honestly she's the laziest marie sue character I've ever come across. She can get everything and anything without any EFFORT, SWEAT AND PAIN. I can't recall she has ever put any effort to accomplish anything, oh wait I forgot that audrey has never accomplished anything on her own."

When I read this, I actually visibly convulsed with shock. Never have I ever met someone so airheaded.

Did you not witness her participation in the war effort? Did you not read about her desperate but iron will to help those in poverty? How she went to extreme paths to find food during the food shortages? What about when she helped Klein with his depression and anxiety? What about her help with Grosselle's travels? Or when she helped in the Botis operation or the Rambis operation etc and etc. I can go on and on.

What happened to all these instances Night Ghost? What? Did they magically disappear from your head?

[collapse]

"The grey fog"

The grey fog point also partially makes sense. I can understand the point of
Spoiler

it being a little bit too convenient to the fact he can complete the sequence 3 ritual in one go however isn't that suspicious Night Ghost? Why is it so easy? Even Klein gets goosebumps at the fact that everything was prepared in advance. This is probably a mystery regarding the previous owner of sefirah castle. I have not completed the novel yet So I can't say.

[collapse]

"The s*upid rule"

"one is not allowed to do things againts his moral codes or one will lose control"

This is false. Don't know where up you got that idea. Maybe you mixed it up with the fact that you need to act to bypass a potion? However after finishing doing that you can pretty much do whatevs you want. The only reason people lose control is due to 3 things. Maybe something else but these 3 are most important. First, failing to digest the potion properly or advance. Second, if you're a high sequencer and your support gets f**k*d. Third
Spoiler

not necessarily loss of control but tends to be, corruption from the cosmos or underground.

[collapse]

Spoiler

Actually I'm not too sure how this works with angels and deities because it's little bit more complicated to lose control there. So will come and rectify any mistakes once I'm done with this novel.

[collapse]

People who were good can became bad and people who were bad can became good. For example
Spoiler

I will never forget elder lovia's sacrifice nor will I forget trissy's sacrifice

[collapse]
I love this novel because a lot of my opinions regarding people and gods changed constantly due to new perceptions and knowledge. I can understand why some "villains" do things sometimes.

You have a such a wordy and well formulated review that I can understand why it's at the top however some of your issues are not true especially the slander at miss justice. #TheWorldNeedsJustice <<less

Apart from the headache-inducing multi-chapter fights at the end, this novel was just beautifully crafted. Sometimes I felt I needed to take notes, but with repeated mentions over 1400 chapters even I could get the lore together somewhat. In the end it's not hard. I'm just a dumdum.

Well, regarding full 5 stars, maybe this type of setting and/or storytelling is just really my style (coming from multiple tens of thousands of chapters of standard xianxia like er gen) - or this novel was just that good.

Iunno. But I really really... more>> liked it.

I binged this in 2 weeks and am so obsessed with the series. The first 40 chapters are SLOW because history, world, and characters needed to be established. Once you get past that hurdle, the novel gets more interesting and you can't stop reading.

I love how all the Tarot Club members started off weak and grew to stand on their own two feet instead of relying on Klein/The Fool all the time. All of the antagonists are really damn evil and annoying to deal with, but this is a good... more>> thing because it allows the characters to gain experience and grow more.

Spoiler

One part that I'm confused about is how Melissa knows that Klein is The Fool at the end when she's introducing her niece to The Fool. The author said in an interview that during Klein's funeral in book 1, he said that it was implied that Melissa knew Klein died because of The Fool/knew he was The Fool???? I re-read that chapter and got nothing from it.

The author of the story is one hell of a genius... everything is superb in this story. Don't believe shitty people's shitty reviews who after reading only 20 or 30 chapters believes themselves as better than anyone.. the first 100 chapters may be slow, but after first turning point in klein's life, when you continuously read, you will understand how powerful these chapters laid the foundation for it. As a lover and reader of Lightnovels I will give below points for consideration

  • Not OP MC thats makes story dull and easy
  • No repetitive plots that's make story irritating
  • No unbelievable romance or s*upid emotion stuff (In fact No romance at all)
  • Antagonist are not s*upid (particularly AMON 》 twist loving peoples will love him)
  • When reading 800 around chapters, you will see author already dropped this plots for it in 200 around chapters
  • Very very extensive world building (so extensive that at the end of story, fights will feel like mathematical derivative function)
The story is for deep readers and not suitable for people just skimming for fun stories

THIS IS TRULY A GEM

It is without any doubt, the best webnovel I have ever read. Its good points are too many to list down but the best thing about this is its characters and interactions b/w them. Many novels just focus on just the MC but here you can see that every character was well written. The tarot club members, each have their own story which I liked reading.

The power structure was refreshing to read after all those no brainer power levels in your generic cultivation novels. We can... more>> see that the author has put a lot of effort in writing these special pathways and powers by looking at how unique each fight was. Honestly I was really amazed as how each fight was so different than the preceeding one, especially in the first half of this novel. Not saying that there were not any such fights in the later part but I was sometimes confused and had to read them more than once to understand what's going on.

Klein's monologues have their own charm and you cant help but laughing out loud many times as how silly they are sometimes. They just make you wonder what if the other people could hear his monologues and make you imagine an entire other story in your mind. Klein's various personas each have their own distinct traits and some of those influence Klein's main personality and become his traits.

There are a lot of events I want to mention but cant do so without going into spoiler territory. If I had to point to one con of reading this, it would be that it has made all other novels bland for me.

Needless to say, my rating for this is : 10/10 <<less

I highly recommend Lord of the Mysteries to anyone who is hesitating or hasn't touched this novel yet. It's quite possibly the only novel out of the many that I've read online that can outclass Reverend Insanity (another absolute S-tier novel). It's also the only online light novel that's the closest to actually having the possibility of being published imo and here's why. The world building is in-depth and detailed, making you really get a picture of the setting and an understanding of the culture of that setting the MC is in. What other reviews such as kkgoh (how his review has so many likes is beyond me, especially when he only read up till 105 chapters) think of as unnecessary filler, others see it as the author taking the time to actually paint a descriptive picture to the reader of the setting, events and progression up until said event. The progression in this novel is logical yet simple (e.g., the MC doesn't get super OP in like 5 chapters like the MC's in novels such as Solo Leveling), people may have supernatural abilities but there are real and practical limitations placed on the abilities. The side characters which are arguably one of the highlights of the novel are incredibly diverse of all ages, genders and races and they all have their own backgrounds, screentime given, personalities with well-defined character development and realistic dialogues. Every detail and interaction matters to some degree, even the ones all the way in the beginning that the reader may have seemingly forgot about and the author does a tremendous job of connecting everything together to develop an incredibly detailed world with an in-depth power system, background lores/myths, religious themes, political systems, diverse geographies, diverse cultural differences and so much more. I would argue that this may be even better than Reverend Insanity because the author doesn't have a fetish for making the MC suffer constant bullsh*t setbacks or making the MC's opponents pull some Deus Ex Machina bullsh*t out of thin air that saves them at the last second. I implore potential new readers to not be turned off by the description or book cover art like I initially was. This story is nothing like a Nancy Drew-type novel where he goes around solving mysteries in a steam punk world. And there isn't as much horror or scary moments like the synopsis or cover art would imply (it's not that kind of story) even though there may be some supernatural events/creatures. Both Reverend Insanity and Lord of the Mysteries are well at the top of the S-tier list of light novels, everything else can't even come close to sniffing them, especially the obscenely abundant amount of ridiculous harem wish-fulfillment novels or the plethora of corny Korean novels where the MC starts our weak, lame, ugly (etc) and suddenly become cold, attractive, badass and super OP in like 5-10 chapters (not to mention suddenly rich somehow). The backgrounds and myths that are slowly explored and unraveled by the MC in this novel (hence the mystery part) are well-thought out and really serves to flesh the story and world. The side characters which are arguably one of the highlights of this novel are so well done, with their own stories and motives and don't exist solely to jizz over how awesome the MC is (I'd even dare say that the MC is sometimes a bit bland compared to them). The author also doesn't need to make the MC a "lone-wolf" type in order to have the excuse to shy away from actually having to develop other characters, have good realistic dialogue and not just have the novel be written like a narration like you would see in pretty much EVERY Korean novel. Nationalism bullsh*t is also nonexistent here which is another plus as you can get tired of constantly reading novels that act like only China or Korea or Japan exist and that they're somehow so much more amazing than the rest of the world. Most importantly,

deaths can happen

, the MC can actually fail, have to try or change their plans last minute cause an event didn't go the way they wanted it to (like IRL). Some points I wanted to bring up that was raised by kkgoh since his review got so many likes somehow is that all of his complaints are actually so irrelevant to the story (who would've thought, seeing as he only read 105 chapters). For example, not only is this review full of spoilers, he portrays the spoilers in an inaccurate manner and emphasis aspects of the novel that truly don't become that important later as sooooo much more happens. Kkgoh complains about inane issues such as the MC joining the nighthawks by chapter 30, but it's explained and makes sense how the MC joins the nighthawks by that chapter, it's not like he suddenly became a nighthawk. Plus, becoming a nighthawk is like barely finishing your first gym badge in a Pokémon game, that's how early and trivial of a step becoming a nighthawk is to the MC's development yet at the same time, incredibly important because the MC's time with the nighthawks serves to help him in some ways later on while also giving the author an opportunity to expound on the world's architectural, judicial and political structure. Kkgoh, this dude, is soo hung up on the most inane aspects of the story, it's as if he read it to hate on it. Like why are you complaining about the background of the body the MC is transmigrated in? That was just a brief background that later still serves a purpose for the MC yet that reviewer just goes off on a rant about that, wtf bro, you good?? And actually it is important to give names to side characters because, once again, the author does a great job of connecting everything together and the characters are memorable enough with their own personalities (and the names are in plain English like Elizabeth) so they're easy to remember. His whole review is made up of inaccuracies and points that simply aren't true to the novel which once again, gives off the idea that he read it just enough to hate on it. Read the other reviews telling people not to trust any reviews that haven't read past at least chapter 200. Seriously, ignore the negative comments, peep how they're all from people who have only from a very low amount of chapters and give this novel a try, it's that good.
