This novel threads the same path as Perfect Superstar et al. The protagonist comes to certain parallel world as a young and downtrodden movie director. In the current world, a lot of sci-fi masterpieces are inexistent. So he becomes bestselling sci-fi writer by borrowing well-known works such as The Three Body Problem, Inception, Interstellar, Jurassic Park, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, etc. Using funds from selling books, he also stages a fantastic comeback to the movie scene with The Matrix.

The protagonist is not a know-it-all. He becomes author, movie... more>> director, screenwriter, and that's all. But still, he is a gary stu with super-smooth life and unparalleled ability to face slap his opponents.

The novel contains a lot of plot hole, gary stu protagonist, cliche reaction scenes, and repeated storylines. It might be boring for some. But the author has done his/her homework on the sci-fi scene, and that's a plus.

This novel is good for people who could accept "parallel-world plagiarism", hundreds chapters of slice-of-life, fangirling on sci-fi novels, and the usual Chinese showbiz cliches. Otherwise, you would be better off reading other novels. <<less

If you liked I'm Really a Superstar you will probably like this too. It is the same concept (going to an alternative world where there are missing a lot of famous works of literature and etc...), but he doesn't have the game system and the MC will probably focus on literature only, instead of everything like I'm Really a Superstar did.

This a decent story about someone who transmigrated to a parallel reality where a lot of Science Fiction stories don't exist. So the Main Character becomes an author and brings the famous science fiction from our world to the new one. No Systems or any powers besides I think really good/perfect memory. It's an enjoyable read with plenty of reaction scenes to the stories.
