Let's start with Cons:

World building mechanics is basically... Forget about it.

It doesn't have an appeal at all. Shut off your brain regarding "how is this, how is that, how can that be, what is this, what is that"

... more>> The story doesn't revolve on this particular setting.

You could say it's self explanatory.

Like, Arc 1: Where he lost his cultivation, health and... well, everything, but suddenly had the surge of power which doesn't make any sense but... Oh well, let it be. It's power of Love. Let's focus on what's more important.

Ok, now let's speak about the Pros:

Relationship and drama.

If there is something you could say world building... It would be solely focused on the problem of the MC and the Heroine (s).

For what? Of course, to elaborate the Relationship and drama that will take place between the two.

The drama here would be quite detailed and made a quite reasonable reason for the Heroines why they are so attached to the MC. Anyway, let's keep it here in order not to speak more spoilers.

Now, let's make analogy why I only rated it 3/5

The Pros are like branches of the Tree, beautiful and strong, and the Cons is like the trunk of the tree, unappealing and weak.

As a whole picture... It doesn't look good at all.

The only selling point is his simulation but the MC and the whole world itself doesn't have a goal.

The trunk is empty but it's branches looks really beautiful, it's quite sad to see it. <<less

Very good, really. Very recommended. 5 star out of 5.

Don't mind the title, that title is a bit misleading. This story focus on MC life in when he used Life Simulator. A genre that when it done good, it will be very good.

The story in the simulator really good, when I read it, I really shed many tear because of some scene that is touching. Well I only read 2 arc now, but those 2 is really good. Well the first act is more to my taste though, because the... more>> second is more in depth (more long than the first but the feeling in the end is more or less the same, touching). Well maybe because I prefer some fast pacing.

Give it a try my friend <<less

The premise of this novel seems promising, and I could see this becoming a very interesting story. Although I do hope this story avoids the common trend in these regret novels of the protagonist sabotaging his personal relationships for some perceived benefit to the other person involved, and taking ages to clear up the misunderstanding when it has clearly done more harm than good. 5/5 for now.

This is first “life simulator” novel I’ve enjoyed. Here we have the story of Xu Xi who’s just an all around Nice Guy, and in that during simulations he keeps unintentionally getting girls attached to him who end up becoming godlike beings with borderline yandere tendencies- who end up coming to the real world, and Xu Xi has no freaking clue what’s going on and just treats them like younger sisters, it’s actually kind of hilarious.

Now as for the novel itself, the writing is surprisingly good for a CN, it... more>> isn’t overly Chinese, though a lot of details are overlooked and breezed by. Things are also overly convenient in the real world, while things also seem arbitrarily difficult in the simulations. Now the simulations are surprisingly well written, comes off almost as a QT novel with time skips, they’re emotional, have proper highs and lows, and good story flow. The real world however comes across as this overly convenient power fantasy, where they skip over most of what actually happens, aside from the background tensions with the potential FL’s the IRL bits just aren’t interesting, you could completely change the IRL events and it wouldn’t have any impact on the story. It reads more like the summary of a power fantasy with a very poorly defined setting. Overall it’s definitely worth a read as it is, though I don’t feel like the author has much clue as to where the story is headed, so I can’t say much beyond that. While the story gives the impression that the simulations are means to supplement the “main story”, I suggest treating it in reverse. <<less

Writing this after finishing the first simulated world, and I've got to say, the writing in this is pretty good for these Life Simulation type novels.

Going by what it has shown thus far, I would say this leans more into the "drama" aspect instead of the slice of life / get strong as hell in most of these simulation novels, and frankly that makes it more palatable for me.

I would need to read more for a better concrete review, but so far, I'm liking what I've read and would be... more>> glad to read more of it.

5/5. <<less

I went and read the raws just to see if this was a harem or not lol. Especially since I liked the premise. While I didn't finish, what I found is that there is more than one potential female lead

Spoiler

in each simulation I have sren so far he has picked up and saved a different girl and then died in front of them. They all became extremely obsessed with him and later come to find him in the real world. There are three so far. Xu moli in the first simulation, then the half demon girl, and the princess. In toa

[collapse]

I don't think he actually had romantic feelings towards any of them? But it was hard to tell when mtl-ing. I do know he cared for them lol. I'm a little disappointed, so I can't really rate since after the first simulation I started skimming out of annoyance. <<less

From what I had read, the only strong point of the novel is when the MC enter, experience, and aftermatch of the "simulated world", that the only thing that made this novel intereating.

Other than that, you can basically skip very thing else when he join the guild/association, when he make and sell magical artifact, you can ignore all that
