the system use threat and pain to 'motivate' (force) MC to do what the system deemed as 'good deeds'

this screams abusive hierarchical relationship, not a partnership. From the beginning of their meeting, system keeps threatening MC to do his bidding while barely giving him any benefit

and the running theme of forcing a person with an autism to do "normal human good deeds" or "normal human socializing" to "cure" his autism doesn't sit right with me

system never asked of what MC wants or MC opinions. As if MC is not capable of anything because he is autistic.

first and foremost, an autistic person is just another human being who has thoughts, wants, needs, and opinions. The way the system trying to make MC do good deeds while treat him like a tool that has to be mold to fit its image of Lei Feng is disturbing.

author seems to use the term "autism" and "curing autism" lightly here, which shows that author never do any research on autism or at least converse with an autistic person of what they want or what they thought. It gave me a bad taste. I don't mind author using a heavy archetype for a light-hearted story, but using it in such an ignorant way should've never been done.

why curing autism is offensive

The age gap. Actually, it isn't the age gap itself that is the problem but the actual age and life stage of each character. The MC meets the ML when he is 16 about to be 17. The ML is a grown-ass man with a military job, a child, and power. And he starts acting like lovers with the MC in less than a month? Some people might not mind this, but for me, there were many scenes that made me cringe. The people around the leads seem to think that this is an issue but ignore it cause the ML is their boss or is powerful. EXCUSE ME.

This man used his elder status to kiss, rub MC's body, force MC to straddle his thighs, threaten to let MC move out if he has a girlfriend, take a bath together, and even go so far as to help him m*sturbate. This is so disgusting 🤮.

The joke is that the system once used the intensity of the punishment equal to the pain of childbirth which scarred the MC for life. He never wanted to have a kid with the ML after that (as if the Cesarean was not an option!).

pe*ophilia is 13 and younger. 17 is nowhere near, nor borderline. What's more, the MC is a genius, he is not ret*rded, he is simply innocent. And the ML swears to himself to wait until the MC is 18. Well, the road to hell, they say, is paved with good intentions. He is unable to keep his paws to himself and we, readers, protest.

The age gap between two men where one could be a father and another a son (by age) is nothing for this writer, she wrote about it so many times in QWTFOTD, I think it was in every arc, that it is practically a norm for her, so she desensitized me. I thought that it would not shock me as much. But it did!

Each time they would step closer to each other, break through to the next level of intimacy, I felt terribly uncomfortable. I felt that the ML was really lying to himself when he was justifying his actions whereas the MC was truly innocent and pure as he was doing the same. I do not know if the author intended to produce such effect in readers or not, but it is there, that feeling that the ML is doing something creepy. And the system consents!

I must note though, that there is something strange about the ML's age. In the novel, we read that he is 34 when he meets the MC who is 17. They get together when the MC is 18, the first year university student. Years later, when the MC is in his early twenties at the end of the novel, the ML's age is still stated as 34!

The HE in the extras is very funny though when the MC reveals that he created a technology that allows two men to have a child together. He means that the ML's biological son who is now a grown up and is married to a boy can have a kid of his own with his husband. But the reaction of the ML and the little dialogue between the MC and ML is priceless.

The MC is a teenager with autism his condition improve as he grow. He like helping other and learning. With the help of the system (the system is a cinnamon, it is cute and righteous). The ML is a bigshot soldier. They met cause MC accident help the ml's son (here come another cinnamon cutie). At first the ML take the MC under his care cause he remind him of his son who also has autism. Later, they fall in love (still cute).
