A woman, who has been living her life ON (work) and OFF (entertainment) at a corner of a city, reincarnated in an otome game called “Crystal Labyrinth”. She is aware of, and has knowledge about, her previous life when she awakened.

She was in despair when she found out that entertainment in that world is so scarce. Since there’s no entertainment there, she decided to recreate the entertainment of her previous world on her own! However, while doing so, she not only killed time while recreating entertainments, but also the common sense and recognition of the world… crushing them with her knowledge. She built an organization that grows into an outrageous talent resource.

After transforming into a masked merchant, she completely changed the environment, which is now significantly different from the game’s original setting. However, death flags came from unexpected places…

This is a story about a reckless villainess pulverizing the hope of the misunderstood heroine and the s*upid prince.

Having read all the way up to the end, (excluding side stories), this series was okay, up to a certain point.

But then, it gets really f*cked up, and I stopped liking it, because they basically ruined a characters life and tried to justify the f*cked up things they did.

I don't recommend reading this. I believe it became a manga, but unless they fix certain parts of it, it will just end up with the MC being, well, quite frankly extremely mean spirited against a certain other character that didn't... more>> deserve it.

Spoiler

So... the MC is a villain, and the antagonist is the crown prince and heroine of the otome game the MC reincarnated into. The prince being an antagonist makes sense, because he became and stayed a douche bag the whole time, but not the heroine. The heroine was basically set up to fail by the MC for no reason, just to avoid her bad end, when she was perfectly capable of doing it without screwing over the heroine, but did it anways because it was easier. And I'm supposed to identify and like the MC after this? WTF?

So here's what she did. She created a book which was basically the plot of the otome game without the names. Then the heroine gets the story and believes it to be a bible to her. What's the f*cked up part about this? Well, the heroine was an abused little girl who basically had no one to care for her, and though that the book the MC released was basically a prophecy for her, since it matched her circumstances exactly. The more shitty and hopeless the person's life is, the more likely they are to cling to some form of salvation, and for the heroine, it was that book.

That, is pretty f*cked up right there. Because, it probably destroyed her trajectory of being a "good natured" and hard working person.

Second. The arch bishop, who is basically the MC's friend, asks her to look after the heroine. What does the MC do? Not only does she NOT try to help the heroine at all, she actively orchestrates her down fall, and keeps letting the heroine play into her delusions even though the MC knows that she is being delusional. Like seriously, you say you will help, but not only do you not help her, you actively work against her.

Oh and this is also because she need her to play the fool so she could end her engagement with the prince, even though, like I said before, it was perfectly possible to do the same without f*cking over the heroine.

So some of you may be thinking, its not the MC's fault. Its the heroine's fault for believing the book to be prophecy. No. Its both their faults, but more toward the MC. Why? I'll give a real life example.

How to people recruit for terroism? They trick and manipulate hopeless people. What the MC did was no different than from what radical terrorists do. They brainwash them, and manipulate them to commit terrible things.

Sure, its the heroine's fault for getting confused and thinking the book is prophecy, but that's same thing as blaming cult members for being cult members. It doesn't work that way. Its almost always the fault of the leader for doing bad things to vulnerable people, and the MC did exactly that. The heroine was intelligent enough to know that a low aristocrat like herself (as well as being a female) would be able to amount to nothing without marrying a male. Other than the royalty, it was a patriarchal society by far. (For how to represent this well, go read cinderella's step mother manwha). But then, by convenience, the heroine goes full derp, loses her reasoning and starts blindly believing the book more and more, even though, with her personality as originally presented (her first official appearance), was more realistic, although slightly fanatical. And then she goes completely s*upid and derp at the end even though she knows the book was written by the MC. Way to right a shitty character just for the convenience of the MC.

And this is not to mention that the MC had almost every opportunity to warn or try to correct the heroine. She doesn't. She leads her to failure. Like seriously.

I hated the MC after she started doing this. I absolutely hated her character. Because she tries to justify herself, but it doesn't work because of how manipulative and selfish she is. Yeah, I read too into the story, but what else should I do? I'm evaluating her character. She never once tries to help her. She never once tries to solve the misunderstanding EVEN THOUGH SHE KNOWS THE HEROINE is misunderstanding a lot of things. Why? Because its more convenient for her if she stays s*upid and helps her break her engagement, EVEN IF SHE WAS ASKED TO HELP HER.

Like f*ck, even a "Hey, you shouldn't do that" would work. But she didn't because she was tooo lazy (its in the title, f*ck me right?)

Like, the only reason why I kept reading was to see if the MC would actually, you know, try to help or something. Nope. Makes it worse.

I can't even feel cathartic at her annulment with the prince because of how shitty the MC was to the heroine, and how the author expects us to like the MC after she deliberate destroys the heroine's life.

You guys may disagree with me if you read up to it by blaming the heroine. But let me just tell you this. Without the book, the heroine would not have done anything and may have even tried to achieve something. The MC may have accidentally corrupted the heroine, but she deliberately set her up for failure after she found it convenient for her.

The herione is the victim in all of this, and I cannot like the MC or support the MC after that shit.

[collapse]

So yeah, after a certain point, the MC stops being likeable to anyone with a brain, and the antagonists of the story just become derpily brain dead like they're from some chinese xian xia story.

I don't recommend reading all of it. Stop after the first year, when the series is at its best. After that, the MC just goes down, along with the character development and writing because the author expects us to root for the MC like brainless fools.

3/5 stars. The first parts of the story are fine. Unless you are like me and have problems with hypocrites and manipulative characters who don't think they are or try to justify themselves doing bad things, then you won't have any problem with the whole story, though it is a little bit stale regardless. <<less

Now then I will be not be blunt or cut straws. I love characters who fulfill their goals and their intended destinies, the same applies with this novel. I'll head into the reason why within the spoiler.

Now using the last review as a basis and completing the novel myself I have to say I have little to not problems with the MC being a manipulative and hypocritical person. The MC is not a f*cking saint, she is not a person who will obstinately go along with the idea of being a goody two shoes. She is a villainess. It is in the name, there are many novels with soft villainesses who just want to live their little lives in peace, this is not that novel. Having written a book based off what she knew from the novel and taking things lightly as she notices the heroine is feverishly adhering to the messages within the story she got duped and thus became the object of the villainess' plan to keep her down. But you ask why can't she leave her alone and just be at peace, here's the thing under my own understanding the MC understands the heroine is a threat and would rather not risk it than die. I'll give off a real life example, when two rival hunters are in the forest they must do all they can to one up the other hunter, one step ahead so to speak. It doesn't matter whether he stole the prey of the other hunter by knowing the animal trails ahead of the other hunter. This applies within this novel as well, the MC leaves out suggestions that the heroine follows through, it is not her duty to befriend her enemy nor protect her because in doing so would bring untold consequences on her part. Even if she was asked to help her out and to be kind to her it would not make sense for the MC to ally herself with someone who is by all means and forms her enemy. Even without the book the game was rigged from the start because the MC already wrecked the relationships and routes that she would need to survive as a heroine, I support the MC she follows through her destiny and becomes a textbook villainess who gets what she wants in the end. I wish there could be more villainesses like her.

The synopsis of this story is utter bullshit.

1.5/5

The synopsis is what the author thought he would be writing but it is completely different I tell you.

... more>> As of this review c2p25 is the latest update.

Basically a noble girl who is 6 years old wakes up from coma and start shouting and speaking out loud while she suddenly becomes a genuis that invents board games from Go to monopoly, and not a single person finds it strange.

She even gives advice to a merchant company that sell her stuff and instead of finding it strange they all say she's a genuis.

I'm talking about the MC, which from the synopsis you'd expect her to be a true anti-hero that will scheme and manipulate people to get what she wants.

The story doesn't do that. It follows a slice of life vibe of a f*ing 6 year old girl as she starts writing novels and quickly degenerates into 'introducing' BL and such into the world and for some reason all the noble ladies of the world turn from proper characters into otaku girls.

I hate the fact that no one questions the 6 year old MC who gives life advice to adults every time she invents a new board game and they all praise her for her wisdom instead of asking how can a child who barely goes out of the house have such wisdom that only those with long life experience can have.

Overall, it starts okay since you think even if she is 6 years old there might be a time skip to when she grows up and the manipulation and anti-hero stuff starts but no, it quickly degenerates into a generic dumb girl with who is the center of the world and the story becomes the generic type of wish-fullfillment for weeb girls (I forgot the correct term)

TL;DR : wish fulfillment novel for otaku girls about a child inventing games and 'novels' with blank side characters that only exist to comment on the MC. Generic, 1.5/5

-The synopsis promised something, and it didn't deliver, just click baited. <<less

Didn't read, so I'm not rating it, but this novel is going into my blacklist.

I don't mind an occasional villainous protagonist, but that is when the target is a villain. It would be best described as the wicked are ground by wicked ways. However, when the target is an obviously innocent person, it is the same as targeting someone because of a possibility. This is unacceptable, and not something I would ever tolerate in a novel.

The concept of using modern knowledge to expand the entertainment fields and industries in a... more>> medieval time period is a good idea that I would like to read, but this novel has appeared to have gone too far outside the initial setting. <<less

From @Raven Frostw review, I like her review because even if she doesn't help heroine, that girl will be ruin. Because she think that book is true and will behave like a brainwashed girl. So can't help her when it's too late when she thinks it's true story. If MC help her she will even think MC is obscuring her path to the queen, and will think MC is the real villainess girl from the book, Firming her delusional is true.

Another person review,

The world thinks MC is genius because... more>> that world don't have reincarnation or sizing body. Even real life don't really believe reincarnation or transmigration. And in real life has a young genius and you can google it to search. <<less

Starting off if you don't wanna read self insert fantasy of a hardcore weeb then skip this. The entire story can be summed up as MC being reincarnated into a brainless world, where everyone except MC lacks a brain.

The biggest issue with the story is freaking no time skips when badly needed and no one questioning MC's behavior.

It starts off okish with her inventing board games. The problems that comes after that is she writes freaking romance novels (at the age of 6 with barely leaving the house) and every... more>> freaking woman who reads it loses their head and goes off "So empowering, never thought of this etc".

This was barely ok but then 😭

Spoiler

She writes a BL (boys love story for peeps who don't know) starring her own brother and his friend. Worse yet every woman who reads it magically approves of it and supports it. And when the church comes to stop it she freaking blackmails them into submission, an unchallenged church in medieval times as the only faith gets blackmailed into accepting it by a 6 yr ol' with the threat that she'll expose their corruption which has been going on for ages that it's the norm. Yep let that sink in.

And better yet she teaches them how to make an info network (which miraculously they never thought of).

[collapse]

Everyone is too dumb to think of what would be normal and too characterless that even if they didn't have roles and just the dialogues, it won't make a difference.

And many times it feels like an edgy gen z woke activist wrote this

Other than that the poor heroine who you really start wishing and hoping for, details of which other comments have spoken. <<less
