NOW THIS

This is some serious gourme SoL

Fun bear aesthetic, interesting missions and a shallow but lovable cast? Yep you're eating good now.

Read the manga as far as you can. You can skip some boring chapters and increase your enjoyment (I skipped all JP cooking chapters)

This is one of those novels where you'd go when you want to shut off your brain and chill. Cute characters, decent boss fights and continuous bashing of common sense chan makes for a nice package overall.

I would beary much recommend this for a chill reading session.

It’s cute and fun but...

there are only 4 characters in the ENTIRE novel: Yuna, generic father, generic mother and, generic little girl.

All I want to say is this novel is really great. The latest chapters have weird translations and all but it's not really too much. The first 100-200 chapters were much more understandable and great if I say so myself.

This novel is really enjoyable and fun to read. I really salute the author, Yuna's a great MC. She's an overpowered girl from the earth that got transmigrated to a different world. She's lazy and easy-going to the point that she doesn't want to be in any troublesome situations (like being considered as "hero", having unending fame, or facing those kinds of nobles) .

Yuna's a big softie for children so she likes to go on an adventure with them, so usually, she doesn't go anywhere alone except if it really... more>> is needed. And when I say needed, I meant when it pecked her interest.

I also like all the side characters, especially Fina. She's a cute Lil dumpling that tries her best to feed her family even though she's still a lil kid. Her dad died, her mother is bedridden because of sickness, and her younger sister is still a small child, so she's the only one who can support her family. She's a good girl, Yuna says so. Anyways, the flow of the story is light-hearted, slow, and steady with Yuna just doing things she enjoys the most and hating troublesome encounters. If you like novels that aren't too cliche, cringey and boring then this what you are looking for. If you just want to read a cute fluffy novel with overpowered MC and cute/beautiful companions, then this is the right one.

Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear is a great catch. <<less

For now, I am super annoyed reading this. I know I should have finished this before giving a reveiw but I cannot contain this boiling feeling inside of me.

The 1st chapter is very unrealistic the rate of 15 year olds' being millionare is statistically low. Yes, stocks makes so much money but it requires time to build it up. But 1 year she has 100 million of the bat! There are maybe news out there of kids being millionare via stocks but they dedicate their time studying stocks, I repeat... more>> they dedicate their time on stocks and not on school. I had to search on kids aged 15 and the amount of money they have to convince myself in reading this story, they cannot even reach the amount of money the main character have.

I know that this novel is fiction but this is exactly the FANTASY of a 15 year old with CHUUNIBYOU.

The main character dectates other characters' deeming them incapable of thinking for theirselves. The way the main character acts is like she is the only righteous f*cking person in that whole planet. Self centered, sympathetic yes but NOT empathetic, close minded and prideful.

Now for the other characters I feel like they are npc's following a set of program sand instead for a program a damned main character who thinks she is all knowing.

I have no problem with the translation, its great.

My conclusion, plot non-existent and if you want something beyond the common sense characters then try reading this. <<less

I started reading it, and thought it was silly and immature, but fun. 8 hours later, the fact that I've read it until 6am in the morning say that even if it is silly, the plot is made at the authors whim and the MC is a massive Mary Sue, I have immensly enjoyed this series.

It is incredibly wholesome, super light and fluffy, and it is satisfying to see the MC steamroll over every problem that comes her way. The plot doesn't matter, because it is meant to be light... more>> and fluffy so there is no need for tension and suspense to keep you hooked, instead you are reading because it keeps a smile on your face. The characters are likable, they often have tragic backstories where they have been dealt an unfair hand in life and are playing it the best they can, and so it is nice when MC comes and picks them up and gives them an opportunity to thrive <<less

If you just want a light-hearted easy read, then this is for you!

I could only handle it for 80 chapters. I enjoyed the first 50 quite a lot though. After that I couldn’t bear it anymore. My favorite parts are when the MC is alone. There is a little girl side character who has a good personality, but the MC bringing her everywhere bothered me a bit after awhile.

There isn’t much of a plot, which the author admits early in the notes.

... more>> The writing and translating is decent.

I give it a 3.5 overall. <<less

This series had a lot of potential, but the author just doesn't have the skill to really make use of it. Most plot points are glossed over, and the author themselves even acknowledge past plot holes.

It was a really fun series at first, but it went downhill hard as soon as she got magic. It could have had a LOT of potential if it was just a girl being kawaii while punching stuff with bear puppets, but instead it became a slice of life with nearly no comedy with an... more>> OP MC who was essentially cardboard. Her goals don't make any sense most of the time and she acts out of character fairly often.

The author writes the series with no forethought or planning and says as much themselves. The lack of planning really starts to show quickly <<less

This is really, really cute. Just imagine a young girl inside a giant white/black reversible bear onesie and that's the MC. Yes, she's OP but she doesn't make a big deal about it - in fact, she tries to cover it up as much as possible (to very little success, mainly because she's so damn noticeable.) This is the kind of reincarnation or stuck-inside-a-game story a reader can kind of relate to - one where the MC decides to do things for her own benefit while in the process... more>> also helping others.

If the people can help her do manual labor in a plan of mutual benefit, then you can bet Yuna will employ them. If they can make yummy food for her, you can bet she'll help them become successful chefs and store owners. If they can help her do the things she can't stomach doing.... well, you get the point.

I also like how the author has Yuna travel to different parts of the world little by little, discovering things little by little at the same time. For example,
Spoiler

she doesn't discover rice until at least 80ish chapters in when she visits the town by the sea.

[collapse]

Up until this time, we still haven't seen her discover soy sauce, but all the hints point towards her probably finding a source soon.

Anyway, I enjoy this series a lot because if I was Yuna and if I got stuck in another world deprived of all the food I love eating, you can bet I'll try my best to get that food for myself in this new world. And that's basically what Yuna does. <<less

A great story for kids or if you enjoy laid back fantasy. I like the story as it’s written. Google translate on the raw is very rough. Always using male when female should be applied and incorrect word choices. Reading the raws requires an editor mode.

that as the story progresses we see yuna taking one layer of the bear onsie at a time, from the party, the swimsuit arc to the tournament we are seing her without her onsie although its somewhat glaring to see it, like I get it its part of her character development or stuff but still it just doesnt feel right,

honestly I just enjoyed seeing other people reacting to her bear onsie and her height and the pov of others about her, yeah, its a good series with just cute girl doing cute things

dont go into the series hoping for some epic stuff or deep stuff dont go into it, its just a girl wearing a cursed/blessed onsie in a fantasy world <<less

just a Bear Girl, Doing Bear things as she goes on in an adventure with her bears...

It is a fun adventure of a girl who was stuck using an overwhelmingly powerful bear costume that was forced on her by some god, and was transferred in another world.

... more>> The world is wide and the characters are interesting. The plot itself doesn't have much to offer but it does develop. From her being too introverted to actually going around making connections with people.|

Her outfit is too eye-catching that she gets a lot of attention from people but all those who tried to belittle her were serve their just desserts.

I am more into tune with the exploration part as the wide world is being introduced... Different places, different cultures, different scenes, different people. Everywhere she goes, something happens as if predestined. And if not something that was predestined, it solely caused by her presence.

There are many more stuff happening even in the background and the reaction of the people that made connections with her were fun to read.

That's why even if I don't give this a full star, I would still rank it highly to my readable stuff. <<less

Cute slice of life types of story with a bit of action here and there and lots I mean a lot of Bears :v

The tags show "action" But it's more like slice of life story so for those who comes for typical "Isekai" Story troupe with nonstop acting and fast pace plot, don't bother this Novel might not be for you....

But if you are looking for healing cute anime girls doing cute things while being OP and dressed as a Bear then this is a treasure trove for you

Edit to reply to@KamuiSC

I don't know where you drop or what chapter you are reading now but from the look of it it must be only 1 or 2 chapters, if not then I feel sorry for you who can't differentiate between overused character and well established character

Tbh I'm glad fina becomes one of the most important and well established character in the novel, in generic isekai type of story little girl character like fina who have a family would be a passing by that would never be mentioned again in the future chapter because she can't join the adventure with MC.

Unless the little girl character an orphan, or s*ave 90% chance they would be only in one or two chapter the be forgotten forever because they can't join the harem of the MC and whatsoever <<less

I have read the WN (not the LN) and it is a lightweight and superficial story for those times you'd enjoy consuming a lot of empty calories. Some of the WN chapters are full of filler as if the author was trying to build up a word count before leaving the city. Males are poorly treated in this series and even the females have very little character development outside of exhibiting certain stereotyped characteristics. It's not possible for Superman or Batman to appear, but if they did, the author... more>> would find ways to make them less competent than her Yuna because no one else is allowed to be better than Yuna. While this is annoying, I can ignore it because I came here to read a fluffy forced-success story. One more thing that is annoying is that Yuna is written to be a genius smart girl with a huge amount of investment money from her previous world. This story shows the author's limitations as the author created a genius character but is unable to come up with the character responses to match the genius decision-making of the character. Hence, the character is taken in forced-event forced-success situations. As a literary work, I'd have to rate this as a one star (lowest possible vote). But this is a WN story made for a target audience of 8 to 12 year old readers, and its writing quality for such an audience is 3.0 which is my rating for this story. <<less

This novel is actually way more popular than I thought it is. Many of my friends who don't usually read web novel, followed and even bought the novels on kindle.

I think it was because lots of people can relate to Yuna. She is one of the most cunning and laziest MC I've ever known, but she is not crooked, as she generally likes people (but have prejudce against those who are not elders nor children) and even though is a loner, she doesn't mind a friend's company. She isn't character... more>> with minimaxed personalities, she is a bit of everything, she admit her weaknesses, she puts on faces, and she reacts exactly like how I would react. She isn't a perfect character, but in a way, she is just perfect.

I also like some of the other chars, especially Ellelaura (I mean, WHAT is she?).

By the way, congrats on getting the second season of the anime. Just yet another prove that lots of people adore this bear girl. <<less

Have read the series over and over. I like how simple and easy to read the chapters. Readers are not exposed to too much info mumbo jumbo to explain things. Not sure if its due to incorrect translation, but if you take some chapters literally by what was translated, they can be confusing. Good read for those interested to isekai stories with overpowered moe characters.
