Man no wonder it’s short. The chapters are as long as a paragraph in english pretty much. Dont be like me and read it now, wait till maybe 20 chapters are out or Mtl or you’re gonna be cut off big time lol. Thank goodness the translators are pretty quick or the cliffs would be too steep

I love it! The interactions between the protagonists are so much fun and, at the same time, very sweet.

Although the ML is willful and stubborn, often talking harshly and behaving more like a teenager than someone who has already been through three marriages, he is quite respectful to his marriage partner, the MC, and never acts superior. Meanwhile, the MC has a gentler personality and appears to compromise a lot, but he is actually strong-willed and not overly submissive. They are a good match.

This novel is really short and sweet. Like very short and to the point. Which isn’t bad tbh but don’t read if you want something with depth. This ain’t it. It’s a straightforward read and any misunderstandings that pop up get resolved immediately.

The main lead, Zhou Bai, is really a typical ML. He’s a CEO, tsundere and cold. The main character, Jian Ci, is very easy going, gentle and adaptable. In the beginning he was suicidal but that changed after he met Zhou Bai.

I really wanted to know why the... more>> ML’s wives died previously. Was it seriously just accidental? Or is he cursed? Why was the MC able to marry him without a near death experience? We’re they meant for each other and everyone else had to die? Idk! There had to be more to it then that.

Overall, its a pretty decent and quick read. Totally deserves the rating it has. But don’t expect to much from it though. <<less

i really liked the fact that there was no unnecessary drama. But other than that, I wish that it could have more extras or go more into the details. I wish it had it a little bit more depth with the characters, but I came for the fluff and got it.

A scattering of short episodic moments in the daily life of two people who entered a marriage of convenience. Its a very relaxing read. It does have drama, but it resolves within one or two chapters and never feels dramatic. Usually its played for a joke. The characterization is light with information revealed only when absolutely necessary. I recommend reading this when you want to read a light hearted romance in quick bites.

This story reminds me of another short BL story called Contract Marriage. Both gongs/seme of the stories are tsundere, which can definitely get on your nerves with their brusque character.

This was so much fun! Like others, I wish the bite-sized chapters had been compiled into one page for convenience, especially since a good portion of the [next chapter] buttons were non-functional. But those are minor quibbles and didn't effect my enjoyment that much.

Despite starting off with a marriage of convenience, the couple here has a pretty sweet, healthy, and mellow relationship that gradually deepens as the story progresses. Not to mention that it makes for some hilarious content XD

It's satisfying to see Jian Ci going from suicidal to hopeful... more>> and learn to read Zhou Bai, our resident tsundere, who's grumpy on the outside but caring and somewhat awkward on the inside. He starts falling for Jian Ci pretty early and it makes for some funny situations when Zhou Bai's rosy assumptions meet the reality of Jian Ci's casual obliviousness. The way they care for each other is very gratifying. What little conflict there is gets resolved very quickly and most of the time ends in a funny way. They're such a cute and entertaining couple!

I'll definitely reread this again, especially if I'm down and looking for something light, sweet, and funny to cheer me up~ <<less

it was a bit frustrating to read, but maybe that's just me. Short chapters and sometimes you get into the rhythm and you get distracted because you have to switch to the next page. Sometimes it becomes messy that I need to switch back to get into it again.

Short. Completely translated. Lots to like. Would probably be a better reading experience if all chapters were on a single page. Navigating between such short chapters kills the flow.
