I am not the most religious person, but even I can tell how weak the MC's argument about religion is. The protagonist claims that no one walks the path of a sinner because they want to, but because it’s the only path available. This completely denies the concept of free will—the very gift that allows everyone to make choices, even in the face of difficult circumstances. Plenty of people endure injustice and suffering yet choose to act righteously instead of resorting to sin. The fact that some choose otherwise is... more>> on them, not God.

Blaming God for injustices while ignoring human agency is not just shallow—it’s pathetic. Most of the suffering in this world is caused by human greed, corruption, and cruelty—not divine neglect. God gave humanity free will, and it’s our responsibility to deal with the consequences of how we use it. It’s not His job to micromanage every petty injustice or clean up after every selfish choice humans make. That’s on us.

Furthermore, hardships aren’t proof of God’s injustice. Many religious teachings make it clear that hardships are tests meant to refine our character and foster growth. Complaining about "unequal paths" assumes fairness means identical circumstances for everyone, which is absurd. Life isn’t about everything being handed to you on a silver platter. True fairness lies in how we rise above our circumstances and strive to do what is right, no matter the difficulty.

And then there’s the nonsense about justifying violence as justice. Acting as judge, jury, and executioner doesn’t make someone righteous—it makes them part of the problem. You’re not fighting for morality or fairness; you’re just perpetuating the harm you claim to hate. If the protagonist had even a shred of faith or humility, they’d understand that justice isn’t about revenge or violence. True justice lies in aligning with moral principles and trusting in divine wisdom.

Lastly, this mortal world is meant to be full of suffering. It’s not supposed to be heaven. That’s the price of having free will. Without free will, no human would suffer—but we also wouldn’t have the ability to choose good or evil, to grow, or to strive for something greater. The real problem is that people don’t complain about having free will; they only whine when they have to face the consequences of their choices. They blame God for everything—whether they have free will or not. It’s ridiculous. Humanity, by nature, is ungrateful and arrogant. Instead of taking responsibility for their actions, they deflect the blame onto God as if He owes them anything.

This novel clearly panders to people who can’t think critically or take responsibility for their own failures. It’s written for those who’d rather throw a pity party and shake their fists at God than stand up and fix the messes they’ve created. If you lack the backbone to accept the gifts you’ve been given, don’t pretend you’re in a position to judge the one who gave them to you.

P.S.: I’m genuinely interested in hearing other points of view, so feel free to contact me if you disagree and explain why. Anyway, have a great day, you ungrateful f*cks (~ ̄▽ ̄) ~ <<less

It's quite interesting. The deeply religious will likely be offended. He makes great points on the hypocrisy of Christianity despite his flawed nature. Anyway those truly good people will either offer excesses or downplay the flaws of the religious/Christianity. As of chapter 6 he starts to go after siners so we will have to see what happens next. The translator is trying to get more readers so give it a try.

honestly, this is a novel which might trigger some guys with religious sentiments but it takes initiative to point out the flaws of Christianity and it also unveils us it's hypocrisy.

Each and every chapter is filled with emotions it honestly makes me question religions and their so called 'doctrine', this is the thing I like the most about this novel, at the same time kudos to the translators who brought this work to us but, unfortunately It seems that it's been dropped by the translators...

EDIT: A new translator team picked it up less gooo!!
