Chen Luoyang felt that something was wrong with his transmigration. After transmigrating, he possessed the body of the highest expert in the world, the Master of the Demon Cult, addressed respectfully as the Demon Sovereign.

Generally, aren’t supreme experts the ones that leave behind a wisp of their soul behind and occupy a new body of some miserable low-level youngster then they go on a journey of revenge and make a comeback?!

Or perhaps it would be transmigrating into a miserable youngster’s body and obtaining a cheat slowly walking the road to becoming a God?

But why did his transmigration seem wrong?

Now my environment is full of big shots and I feel like I’m going to be exposed!

Although the action is fine, there's rambling about abstruse concepts (read: word count filler) beyond ED levels. Also, the vague foreshadowing that something powerful threatens the world ... more>>

beyond the 14th realm or whatever

is pure garbage when you consider that even ED attaches importance in presenting a nemesis that's not simply measurable in cultivation levels.

Spoiler

MC is injured (transmigration doesn't harm his 14th stage foundation though), and in the 135 chapter's I've read, he can 'only' use up to the 12th level or so of power in bursts, while """"struggling"""" to fight off 11th stage cultivators etc that come at him like bugs. This type of 'LET'S KILL HIM WHEN HE'S INJURED' bullsh*t with random single-digit-chapter-life characters is way too much to handle even for 100 chapters, I could barely read 5 in a row without falling asleep near the end.

the author has a good story btw. Its really fresh considering that he has started from being strong. It might have many loopholes but I still have enoyed it for now. I am still waiting for further translation if it would be redundant or not but it is still good

I like the MC (Chen Luoyang) 's pretentiousness when he bluffed his enemies despite his current weak state. The fight scenes are exciting. There is no CP or female lead, which is gratifying. ... more>>

actually, there is this one girl who likes the MC but the MC decisively rejects her and never treats her more than anything necessary.

I've read this novel to completion and I can say that I did enjoy it, a lot.

If there is any dissatisfaction perhaps... the ending. There are a lot of things I want to know. A lot of foreshadowing and the pits dug out by the Author but were never filled. The way the Author tied the plot in the end isn't as careful and meticulous as the start and mid of the stories.

Spoiler

I want to know more about the friendship between the Human Emperor and Demon Lord Tang. I want to know more about the Demon Lord Tang himself. Chen Chuhua's foreshadowing before was so exciting but the revelation is lacking. Toward the ending it's like the Author just simply "tells and summarizes" the answer to several plot points. I want to know more about the other Realms. I thought after meeting the other "Gods", there would be more exciting battlefields, but it's just... hey. Even the real identity of Chen Luoyang himself was "told" by the Author in a summary in just several paragraph. God, I was so angry! That's not how I want those to be revealed! In conclusion, the ending is really rushed. I feel sad.

That being said, I still like this novel so much, and I wish to read more novel like this. <<less
