Another World × Elf × Supermarket = I am the shopkeeper. The “shopkeeper” who “quit” that stress-filled reality and casually disappeared into another world.

I want to repay the kindness of the people in that other world! With an elf who I found collapsed on the road to help at the register, I, the shopkeeper, opened a small shop. The goods I have lined up are from modern society! Sugar and coffee, chainsaws, and plastic bags, today we’ll sell all we can!

Our another-world C-mart is full of customers, ranging from our neighbor “oba-chan” to children to dwarf smiths and even legendary adventurers!?

This novel is a nightmare to read for anyone with even the slightest knowledge of how to run a business. The premise itself is rather easy to understand and quite fun... unfortunately, the MC's method of running his shop makes one's eyes bleed. He has absolutely ZERO business sense no matter how one cut it, sure his interaction with his elf employee is humorous but after a while it was just tiresome routine. ⊙﹏⊙ not much can I say, a light heart, slice of life novel. Seems that no enemy appears so far. The MC is kind of naive and easy going, not having any real goal like building a harem is already plus for me, though. As long as he enjoys making people smile, it's enough for him.

recommended: for enjoying free time if you are tired of bloody and full of schemes novels.

First of all, as light warming novel, it is good. Second, I like when an MC in isekai do business. Third, as an business man too, the way MC do business is shi*. That ain't the way about do business. Its BS if you take and learn business at college too. There is no such thing as perfect market, thats why I can presumably BS and the author only knew business is only about "i sell, you buy, I'm profit". There's no business mechanism in this. Well, I know this... more>> is just a fantasy base novel and you can expect some too much reality shi* on it. But if the author want to make this novel more interesting, he should add the business problem then how the MC dealt it with some supply, demand, store aspect (like arranged the item as the lower self is for low price and upper as high price, and etc) by all means, read a god damn store marketing/marketing books will ya. Then again this only my opinion. If yours is differ then so be it. I gave 3 star because I like this kind of novel. 2 star minus because strange business mechanism, but it should not affect you if you read it without logic or without business knowledge. <<less

This novel probably the first one gives me bad impression of isekai novels. It just too chill and the business he was driven is too naive to the point any management/economy based reader would grin their teeth for. Other than variety of products, The plot flow are too monotone with baka baka - idiot idiot theme.

I don't really recommend this novel for people with advanced knowledge.

Yet this chill novel probably suit for people who don't mind it.

The story so far is great. The lighthearted way of making money between two worlds just makes me relaxed to read it, even though I don’t know where the story is going, overall, the main character just goes with the flow. And that part, I like. Keep up the good work!

Light hearted story of someone being able to go back and forth, ending up making a convenience store in the other world without knowledge about profits and the likes.

No monsters, battle, or anything even close to that, and given the style of the story, probably never (I hope).

A bit sad that the translator disappeared after the 7th chapter, so I'll keep it in a list with the other abandoned projects I want to keep an eye out for.
