This is a pretty minor complaint but:

This was probably the one part I was unsatisfied with. Yu Chengyuan was only 6 years old, and was treated as a substitute for the MCs dead twin brother. Yes he was spoiled and it cause him to be rude to both the MC and Yu Chengdi, but he was still 6. His mother was very mentally ill, and he was obviously scared when she had episodes. They described him as 'ruined' bc of the spoiling from his mother, but once again, he was only 6. He could have grown from that.

When MCs parenst got divorced and YCY was taken by his mother, they mention that despite the mother taking most of the saving, she was mentally and physically unwell, wouldnt be able to get a job, and with a kid, who knows when those saving will run out.

Ik its just a fictional story, but I hope YCY was able to grow up well, and free himself from his substitute role. He was also being ab*sed, even if it wasn't as 'obvious' as the MC and YCD's ab*se.

The cutest top Alpha I've ever seen, mark my words. He's tall and powerful and handsome but he also loves eating sweets and candy, loves soft plushies, has a biting tongue but a soft heart, and always tries to help when he sees something wrong. It was delightful seeing as his personality and history was slowly revealed from the flamboyant and reckless boy that was shown in the first few chapters. He's someone who can be a top student without paying attention in class and can fight and dominate people easily with his top pheromones but who knows that he's literally been fighting for his life against his own parents since he was a child? Our MC actually had a twin brother who his mother favored greatly, and when the brother drowned due to his own carelessness the mother went batsh*t crazy. Violence, emotional ab*se, etc. You name it. His father was also a coward and couldn't fight back against his mother, instead venting his anger on the MC. Our MC's life has been a living hell, and it's hard to tell how he's even survived, let alone helped protect his younger brother. Fortunately, the appearance of the ML helped illuminate a way for him to achieve freedom, and he successfully manages to distance himself from this trauma.

Another suffering child. Also a victim of twins where the parents favor the other twin greatly. It's probably fate for the MC and ML to meet. ML's parents are extremely strict academics and require both of them to follow a certain regimen like a robot. Punishments for not following include physical ab*se (not as bad as MC but), emotional ab*se, psychological ab*se, starvation, etc. To deal with this, the ML basically shut down and carried around a fake persona of a good kid so much that he almost got schizophrenia, and the repressed emotion exploded. Ignoring whether it's actually scientifically possible for that kind of psychological damage to produce two different pheromones, the twin is also a combined virg*n Mary, green tea, and white lotus all in one amazing package. Somehow the ML escaped to the MC's school, and the appearance of the MC as someone who lives life freely and on the edge made him obsessed.
