[…But when I slowly blinked my eyes, I could see only one thing ahead of me.

Yes. That place would surely be my hell.

But at the same time, it would be that bastard’s hell, too.

For that fateful day where I’d get to run into that bastard once more, I chose to willingly throw myself into the Survival Game.]

This gives me similar vibes as Hunger Games. Not entirely the same but just the basis where people have to fight to enjoy a life filled with extreme luxuries and privilege. We also have oppressed class which is thought of less than humans. The difference here would be that we have three classes. First class being nobles and extremely wealthy and privileged bunch. Second class, commoners with basic privilege. And third class, those who are thought of less than humans. Their entire village could be massacred and no one would... more>> blink an eye, and instead think they deserved it.

The main basis is, MC fights in something akin to hunger games (except this is entirely voluntary) and if you win, you can become a first class citizen.

MC, well I won't go into much about his identity, but he is someone who has been living among third-class citizens until his past comes back to bite him and now he has lost the woman he loved. After this starts his life as a dead man, a man who lives for nothing but revenge.

He has joined this survival game and has sworn to win and get back on all those who killed his lover and to dismantle this f-cked up situation.

The thing that stands out the most for me is that MC is 40 years old. So he has to work 10 times harder than those around him because he is way past his prime.

I really like this novel so far. I did not think I would find something that is similar to mainstream literature here. I'm excited to read how it progresses. <<less
