Mu Ling, who lived on a rural planet, inherited a zoo from her great-aunt whom she had never met.

In this interstellar era, mutant beasts run rampant.

War beasts left disabled or severely injured after fighting against these creatures are sent to willing zoos to live out their remaining days, unable to find peace elsewhere.

Looking at the zoo full of old, weak, sick, and injured beasts, Mu Ling couldn’t imagine how much money she’d need to make to support this large family!

To promote the zoo, Mu Ling created a StarNet account, posting photos of the animals in hopes of attracting visitors.

Soon after, a video of a high-risk retired S-class war beast, the Ripper Tiger, calmly allowing its claws to be trimmed went viral on StarNet!

Then more shocking videos surfaced…

An S-Class Swiftfire Leopard, completely unfazed even when its tail was pulled!

An S-Class Silver Snow Bear submitting to a bath without any resistance!

An S-Class Dark Snow Wolf, voluntarily bringing its cubs to the zookeeper to be raised.

Netizens: ???? Is this a sci-fi movie?

What?

These once-fierce, terrifying retired S-class war beasts—known for becoming increasingly antisocial, paranoid, and even biting their own masters after injury—can now be viewed by the public?

No, no, no, zookeeper, wake up!

Injured war beasts are mentally unstable and can go berserk at any moment! Don’t gamble with visitors’ lives!!

The galaxy’s first zoo, capable of calming the mental energy of injured war beasts and giving them a peaceful, happy life in their twilight years, has appeared. In disbelief, Federation officials from various departments rushed to investigate.

The entire research team from the Imperial Military Beast Department came for a team-building excursion.

Professors and outstanding students from the five major Beast Taming Academies uniformly arranged an autumn field trip.

Officials from the Healing Beast Supply Center hurried over to learn.

The principal of the Search and Rescue Beast Training Academy came to work part-time at his own expense.

Even the President and the First Lady personally visited for an inspection tour.

Mu Ling, now rolling in money: …I feel like I could open branch zoos!

Ps: The female protagonist has a hidden identity; there’s a reason why animals are drawn to her.

One-sentence summary: I run a zoo in the Interstellar era.

Theme: Self-reliance and self-improvement

It's sooo cute! The romance is cute, the storyline is good, and the MC also has a good personality. There are a few mysteries surrounding MC's past and it keeps the reader guessing for a while. Of course, there are a few explanations that can be questionable but overall it's a solid plotline. I really like all the animals and how she saves them, eventually leading the zoo to new heights. The romance is good too, it takes a bit for the main characters to realize their feelings but it's... more>> not nail-biting stressful. If you especially like interstellar novels or animal-rearing then this is a good one. The ending might not tidy things up as well as it should but it's still acceptable to me. Overall, I do recommend giving this a try! <<less

I have read a few animal-rearing novels before and I have always left them halfway because they become incessantly monotonous. This novel might as well be the first novel of its kind to make me stay till the end.

Mu Ling doesn't have a single dull day at her zoo. There is always something interesting happening. All the animals were so adorable to read about to the point I wanted to visit her zoo too. There are over a dozen different animals mentioned in the novel and I remember which animal... more>> is which because they are all so uniquely written by the author.

MC is friendly and sweet but knows when to show a strong front. ML is guy with a hidden identity but is not arrogant. He falls first and quite hard. The romance does take a back seat but when it is mentioned it shines. A true green couple, the both of them.

One thing I need to mention
Spoiler

MC's special identity while mentioned, is not given a proper explanation or solution. Her life would be in danger if anyone finds out about it and quite a lot of people did. No solution is given at the end

[collapse]
. Also there is no family reunion between MC and her adopted family or her real family. They were just mentioned and forgotten.

Apart from some loose ends here and there this novel was overall very heartwarming and lovely, 10 on 10 recommend. <<less
