This is not the story I thought it'd be.

It started like a cultivation story in the interstellar age. MC came back from the cultivation world, made powerful friends and they adventured together in different planets to improve their strength.

I thought the memory loss of the ML was a little long, he didn't do anything, but at least he was there.

But now, I feel it's been a hundred chapters since they did nothing. MC is in a laboratory or another creating potions, not communicating with the outside world, his friends and... more>> family (and even his vine) may have been forgotten by the author and ML is... working? Sure, a lot is happening in the Empire, but so what? Neither MC nor ML are actively intervening. They look at things and wait, sometimes they slap people faces because, of course, when situations have nothing to do with the MC the author create trolls who magically link them together and of course make them regret their words.

Usually, I like alchimist or pharmacist stories, there, the MC does both but neither is described by the author, sometimes you get crumbs about a plant or an inspiration but they're few and far between. When the potion is finished, he knows it works and test it on one person, then it's done. Sometimes he's not even the one who present it to people, he just looks or returns to his lab.

I'm still waiting the the ML to do something, he created a strong team, made contact with powerful people, climbed the ranks in the army, made great contributions (well, we didn't see it, but the author said so) and now... He didn't regain all his memory, he didn't progress in his pursuit of the MC, he didn't do anything of his crown prince statut, he didn't intervene when the Empire was in dire strait. So, what is he doing exactly apart from appearing from time to time in his wolf form to play with the MC?

Fortunatly, we've secondary characters who act in this different situations, but so what? The author didn't expand about them, you don't really know them, they're allies, so good people with specific roles and powers, that's great but superficial, they don't really have personnalities...

It's called Intestellar Carnivorous Plant, but where is the carnivorous plant? Wasn't this the center of the story? So it's not the adventure story I thought it'd be. I think there is still a hundred or so chapters, but my interest is waning. <<less
