Eli was transmigrated to a world of magic and became immortal.

He had endless life and could never die.

“Huh? I’m talentless? Then, I’ll just train for as long as I need, even if it takes 1000 years. That should be enough for me to become strong.”

“The skill is hard to learn? Then, I’ll take a few dozens of years to research it. There’s no way it’s that hard, right?”

“What? I can sacrifice my life force to gain spirit power? That’s a bargain!”

“The enemy is here? Hell, I’ll just hide for 10000 years. Let’s see if he can outlive me. I’ll come out once he’s dead.”

This is the story of an immortal who first struggled to live in the world of magic until he became strong enough to slaughter endless worlds.

Another great novel among the batch of trial novels. No face slapping for 40 chapters, and the MC ain’t a simp. He is genuinely low-key. He can live forever, so he uses that to his advantage. The MC isn’t an emotionless being who will massacre someone’s entire bloodline just because they humiliated him. He actually thinks of the consequences of his actions. So what if he has tr*sh talent, as long as he can live forever he will be the strongest. The best part is that the nobles in this... more>> novel aren’t your usual noble trope. They actually have rational reasons and can honestly think for themselves. Not like those generic nobles in other novels, where they will put their lives on the line just for one small humiliation. Overall, there aren’t any cliché tropes to be seen that will ruin the novel or any overuse of cliché tropes. The only thing that bugs me is that it seems that the translator is not proofreading their translation. You will find names switch from the male version to the female version. And sometimes characters will suddenly switch genders. It’s not that bad to the point where it’s unreadable, but it would be nice if the translation was more consistent. Overall read, 7/10! <<less

good novel. This novel definitely makes use of him being immortal and not just by using forbidden spells like most immortal novels ive seen. He takes his times there will be many time skips that make it so his powers do correlate correctly. Also him being very cautious is brilliant. If he can't 100% kill an enemy then he'll wait 100 years to get stronger. Would recommend#.

Beware: this is kind of a plagiarism of WMW which is already a plagiarism of The Wizard World, so don't expect anything original here if you've already read these two novels: it follows the same plot and the same world building with some minor differences.

The plot is still solid, and with enough mysteries to entertain you. MC is not totally a scumbag like in wmw, he values a bit the few relationship he has, he is really not a genius and he doesn't have a system. But he is immortal... more>> and so, has infinite lifetime to rely on to improve his skills. The magnus world is also different in some advantegeous ways for the MC compared to wmw. But the above are the only main differences you'll find.

Translation is a bit messy, sometimes gender and names are the wrong one, so the reading can become confusing. If you haven't read a wizarding novel recently, you can try this one. <<less

Man this sh*t is Incomparable to WMW

MC looks down on warlocks just because he can use Mage techniques due to his immortality, just like the narcissistic mage with the shadow dragon totally disregarding the fact that the mages had to run away and the people who couldn't leave created a whole system of cultivation and strengthened themselves.

The naming is a mess as well, mostly its a western name but some times its eastern mainly chinese lol

On top of that too much space is wasted on presenting the greatness of MC... more>> with words that is, he is looked down upon then the person will realise ELI is so great, his position blah blah blah

What baffled me more was reaction of Vivika the apprentice of MC, she's supposed to be an 400year old witch but behaves like a shy child, not only that she even cries remembering her teacher lol this is pathetic, this is not how I imagined the magus world to be. It gets even more pathetic ahead just like any chinese novel

His enemies will first look down on him and spout blah blah blah which takes up a whole chapter, then they'll be astonished, then afraid as he unveils his powers, then they'll be filled with despair n regret and apologize, same troupe used 4-5 times now its boring

Shook his head, frown, shook his head, frown, sighed, shook his head, sighed, frowned, these are used again n again tsk on top of that we've 'Calm Protagonist' in tags the irony

This novel is rather childish

Now the good part

MC hasn't compromised with his safety for anything be it benefits, emotion or his subordinates

Readable and enjoyable as the MC got his priorities clear, he isn't obsessed over emotion rather benefits and strength is more desired by him. He is rational and definitely not the justice type infact he has used forbidden techniques to empower himself,

Side characters might feel a little light as it goes with majority of novels but the character of MC is solid which is cautious yet ruthless and very much celf centered

Once he even put a soul seal inside a child cause the child Ross came to know his secret of course the child wasn't ordinary he was an acyolite.

MC follows both the ways of Warlocks and mages.

2.5⭐️ out of 5⭐️

New updates

Another troupe

All kinds of depised cucks and weaklings flock around MC he saves them, they realise his greatness, then they're again despised now MC will show his strength again which will earn him their loyalty, easy peasy chinese novel

Like I said earlier this is a childish novel for instance read this paragraph

Spoiler

After they left, only Alida and Glen were left in the room. Margot also left.

" Alida, you've lost weight. It looks like you've suffered a lot along the way. " Glen came to Alida's side and patted her head.

"Grandpa!" Alida seemed a little displeased.

"Hahahaha, Alida is not a child anymore." Glen was all smiles, and his wrinkles melted. The worries he had been feeling for days seemed to have disappeared.

Alida could not get angry in front of this familiar face.

" How was it? Did my little Alida's trip to the West Coast go smoothly? " Glen returned to his seat and asked.

"It didn't go well, but the good thing is that the results are not bad." Alida smiled.

" Sigh, it looks like the West Coast is still too close. " Glen muttered in a low voice.

However, Alida did not seem to notice this." Grandpa, you don't know. When I went to the West Coast branch this time, they were really powerful... "

Before Alida could finish her question, Glen interrupted her."Then where are they?"

"Still on the way." Alida replied and continued, "Grandpa, they're really powerful. You don't know that they actually have... "

Bang!

The door suddenly opened, and Margot walked in. She said to Glen, "My lord, the manticore seems to have reached the outer forest."

"What?" Glen suddenly stood up and looked at Alida. " Alida, go and rest first. I need to discuss something. "

After saying that, he left without looking back.

"I'm sorry to disturb your conversation with your grandfather, but we don't have time." Margot apologized and turned to leave.

In the blink of an eye, Alida was left alone in the huge conference room.

Alida bit her lip.

Whether it was her grandfather, Margot, or the others, they did not take her matter to heart at all.

Or rather, they looked down on the West Coast.

" But Sir Eli is really strong! " Alida pursed her lips and whispered.

Then, she walked out of the room.

[collapse]

She just had to speak one line that Eli is a Radiant Sun warlock but she spouted all kind of nonsense and even got despised

Man in chinese novels characters do lack basic intelligence but not to this extent,

This is just another way of increasing chapter and... whatever I'm outta this dung <<less

Could have been a decent book. Unfortunately the translation is all around utter garbage. First 50 or so chapters were still somewhat readable, completely unedited and never proofread, but still readable. After that, however, it drops to MTL translation with zero editing. Words will be capitalized and uncapitalized at random, complete meanings of sentences are often reversed, pronouns are all over the place (even objects sometimes get gendered) - pretty much all around f*ckfest for your brain or a highway to a brain aneurysm.

Shame too, this truly could have been... more>> quite alright. The setting was interesting, plot was fine, the characters.. Well at least MC was slightly fun. Others not so much I guess. Let's not try to deeply analyze it further.

Anyway, as it is right now, it's not worth reading. <<less
