Actually, it was good in the early arcs, but after those arcs it became boring and it was inconsistent to the title of the story. MC became one of those MCs out there who fell in love, then chase, mission, then the cycle repeat.

It's not great, it isn't all bad either but it barely passes off as good.

The system... idk the system is beyond timid and one single sigh from the MC could scare the living crap out of it. It gets annoying.

Now with the ML, did you know the ML's IQ and EQ is so high~? Like really...i mean, he can solve everything because his IQ and EQ is just... high~ The so-called villains can not secretly scheme behind his back because he is a person with an IQ and EQ that's... more>> like, high~ you know? Omg, with his high IQ and EQ he was able to solve that out? Everyone else probably can't, only him because of how hiiiiiggghhh~ his IQ and EQ is.

^ that right there is what I'm constantly being reminded of after every move the ML makes. After every scheme, he thinks of and after every. Failed. Move. the villains make. Holy hell, the author really wants to shove that into your mind. Then tries to prove it by making the MC solve some issues that didn't really seem that hard to solve.

ML was just there tbh. <<less

Review: Honestly, this story is kinda s*upid in my opinion. Like how tf can you be a CEO etc with a low/no f*cking IQ? (Unless the female lead/the person that made them fall inlove was the one who changed their IQ..?) It doesn't make sense to me. I still try to enjoy it tho, there are some arcs that I like (not love, just like cuz eh). And I don't really see any IQ system world-hopping stories so this is pretty new to me. I give this story a... more>> 3/5 review. Okay okay, I have to be honest, the f*cking plot sucks and everyone is s*upid.
    • MC: He's a pretty cold guy with high IQ and EQ in the story, kinda cliche but it's okay, it's better than having no/low IQ and EQ. But he's not that smart honestly, I mean the people he's fighting with have no IQ after all, so even for me (my IQ is average), it'll be pretty easy. His schemes suck and they aren't even good. His attitude annoys me sometimes. He's an average guy honestly, not smart at all.
    • System: Annoying asf, gets scared too easily, and is s*upid. I prefer systems that aren't annoying, so this sucks. MC isn't even scary at all so I don't get what he's scared of. The system is literally the definition of a f*cking child. He isn't funny at all. I like systems that don't give a f*ck about anything other than the missions but I also like systems that are FUNNY, give a f*ck about some things, aren't annoying, and don't get scared easily by the MC. But the system is pretty helpful and useful, so I gotta give it that. Literally half of the reason why MC succeeded in scheming is because of the system, but of course, all hosts use the system for help, right?
    • Male lead: He's also s*upid, low IQ, or no IQ at all. I'm confused on how he became a CEO or an important position that's hard to reach whatsoever. I don't really care about him but he seems like a pretty nice person when you guys are close but boring to talk to.
Also, I haven't finished the story. I'm on arc 2 and just finished arc 1 a few minutes ago. I'll update this review when I finish the story (probably won't but yeah lol), there's also a chance I will drop it, it kinda sucks.

Edit; dropped it lmao, it sucks so bad <<less

So, the reason I gave this 3 stars was mainly because some of the arcs I really really enjoyed, while others I didn’t really like, I also felt the story became more and more repetitive and I just had to take breaks while reading it whichever usually doesn’t happen to me in QT novels.

But, this story does have one arc that I ABSOLUTELY loved and that was the ancient China arc, in which... more>>
Spoiler

ML is the s*upid male protagonist (as are all his characters) who is an emperor and MC is his eunuch who accompanied him since childhood, honestly this arc was just so charming to me because of how much of a white lotus MC was and how much the ML had to suffer, because if you read the arc MC’s little revenge is actually very amusing, and the task given by the system is for ML to turn the tiles (choose a spouse to spend the night with) a certain number of times which the MC solved in a very entertaining way

[collapse]

All in all, I found this a very feel good type of story, which there is nothing wrong with, I just felt that while the premise is kinda unique, I just didn’t feel it was that different from your usual QT, the MC is a smart and cunning person who solves his problems easily and the ML cures his IQ by changing targets from the Female Lead to the MC. I don’t know if my review discourages anyone from reading this book, but I will just ask for you to read and make your judgements! <<less

I like the quality of the translation but I not really fond on how the story went as it progressed. OP is op af. There's no thrill in anything he does. If there is any block in his path he can just blackmail the system into getting the product that he wants like wtf? That could have been a great goal to achieve but he was able to blackmail the system. The plots get lazier, since everything gets resolve quickly

If you like to read an OP protag that can do... more>> anything without any difficulties, this maybe for you. But if you want a story where te the protag actually uses clever schemes/tricks to achieve his goals and side characters that are not one dimensional then this is not for you. <<less

I usually start an arc only after it finishes, but when Asian Hobbyist took over I don't know where one arc ends and another begins. I also can't find a table of contents. Plus the site the use, at least for me, is slow and full of ads (which I don't mind some but this ruins the formatting for me) .

But it I do like the first 3 arcs, so you should try this and maybe it'll better for you.

I’m writing this review based on the 3rd arc because I’ve already forgotten the 1st and 2nd arcs after leaving this novel for a long time. Tbh, even if I gave this book a 4 star review, it would at least be around 3.8 or 3.7 at the least. I don’t think it should be rated 4. (This is a better rate I gave than the rating I’d give to He Is His Excellency Zhi Li. I would give that book a solid 1 star lol).

I will address my problems... more>> based on the 3rd arc now. First of all, I can agree to the others that MC is definitely not a genius whatsoever. If you’re confused on why people compare MC to Zhou Yunsheng from Quickly Face of the Devil, it’s because MC is more of someone who’s slightly smart while other characters are dumb af, and then there’s Zhou Yunsheng who you can understand how and why he’s smart. Second, like I’ve said, the others are dumb af. Currently, I’m writing because of the Devil Elder who’s acting like a child in the 3rd arc. I cannot comprehend how someone like him who’s supposed to be the mastermind of the whole situation is being reckless when facing off with the MC. If you guys would like to find a novel with amazing protagonist and villain, you can check out Peerless (Wushuang). It’s also a BL novel which I think is very underrated and deserves more attention that it is currently given. You can see how the villain there has both patience and intelligence, and how he handles his situation in the most strategic way he could think of. Definitely a 5 star rating. Third, I feel like he’s pretty cruel at times. I thought I could brush it off a few times but it still bugs me. I feel bad for the leopard guy who was only controlled but then died, and after that MC just threw away his corpse like a disposable tr*sh. Still bugs me. Fourth, I have trouble understanding how the system can just lower the prices of its props JUST LIKE THAT. Doesn’t it have consequences to it or something? MC threatens the system and then it just lowers the price, and that’s it.

If you’re curious why I gave this novel 3 stars, it’s because I still think it’s quite an enjoyable read though sometimes it leaves a bitter taste in my mouth (just like the poorly constructed side characters). <<less

This is okay if you don't find it too boring to read about the MC manipulating and stomping on ants, including the spineless system. The MC is overpowered simply by having a subservient system. The system does all the spying and evidence collection and even gives a heavy discount on buying stuff from the system shop when threatened.

I don't even understand the point of having a quick transmigration setting. One big thing I like about quick transmigration is cycling through many plotlines and having the MC puzzle through and resolve... more>> the mystery in each new world. There's no need to puzzle through anything if everything's on easy mode. <<less

This novel is pretty good, it have smart MC, ML character is not a typical overbearing stalker that is pretty common in QT novels. The system is cute and the romance part of the novel is well written.

However, it have one major flaw.
    • Protagonists travel to different worlds to help increase the protagonist IQ. This is the main point of the whole story.
But starting from the second world IQ of the protagonist from the moment he sees MC is perfectly normal. There is no need to do anything. So no matter if he have 1% or 90% of his IQ he behaves the same.

Making the plot pointless.

I find this one really fun. And really don't get people who get so hung up on the fact that MC, supposedly holding the torch of high IQ, doesn't do anything spectacular. I'd argue with that, but whatever. Thoughts:

  • The storytelling is done smartily. MC doesn't fall in love or gets bent right away, his main goal is to not get bored, since many things came to him with ease. Making this pact he and ML get back together each world. It was pretty logical that the first world had pretty mild love taste which intensifies with the following worlds.
  • For a change, a really nice ML. In many cases he didn't make the same mistakes other MLs of QT genre do (being illogically forceful, not cherishing their partner's wishes etc.). On the contrary ML of this novel is very considerate and in some moments when you think he's going to make a s*upid mistake he backs of, fearing hurting his beloved. Only getting green light he gets into action.
  • Relationship is really nice. Though ML gets played a lot, but with his overwordly passion and consequent sore waist of MC you can let it pass. And actually it's all in MC's character, he really comes to love ML, but he's only one who can play a bit and flirt a lot, but never allows anyone near. Not to mention that anyone who hurt ML in the original story will get tenfold abuse from him.
  • AI scattering IQ system is quite cute. You realize that it changes in time and as other character it grows. It's cutely called a cabbage and often doesn't realize many things that happen in the plot. Well, no wonder complicated human emotions come as unknown substance to it.
  • The stories are nice. The worlds have few twists, each world has enough time. Some things get changed due to MC actually messing things up for his own entertainment, which came as a novelty to me. Load of time MC fixes the plot to change the fate, but here MC is bleck-bellied and likes to torture those who wronged.
In general it came as a pleasant surprise. I always expect QT genre to have inadequate MLs or weak-willed s*upid MCs, while this one pressed all the right buttons for me. I like ruthless MCs, I love caring MLs, I like face-slapping, I like at least some twists. I like when novel has a... more>> nice description. So thats why I give this such a high rate. <<less

Really cute and a good read.

Tbh, I don't have much to say except to reiterate what previous reviewers have already said.

o (╥﹏╥) o

Quick transmigration stories are my favorite and I'm overjoyed to have come upon this treasure. The characters are hilarious (Round Ball is my absolute fave!) 5/5, and the plot could be expanded upon a bit better 4.5/5, but overall I give this a 5.

(❁´◡`❁)

(Please remember this is my opinion and not a professional rating, I'm heavily biased after all ヽ (愛´∀`愛) ノ).

Not a yaoi story, definitely shounen ai.

There's some funny scenes but overall it's a pretty typical world-hopping story. That also means although it has the same virtues, it also has the same faults.

I won't go into much detail about the characters and the plot; all points are satisfactory. Just like the other story, it benefits from being able to jump from story to story and so nothing is needlessly dragged on. That also means it is not as fully explored compared to if each world was actually a full novel... more>> on it's own. However, the pacing doesn't feel rushed and it doesn't feel as if pieces are missing.

My main complaint is that MC and ML are too clearly tied to each other in each world. Only the first world really shows them falling in love, and every time after it's more like ML goes "oh I know this person is the one now how do I establish that with him" at first sight and MC can tell it's him from the start. I wish there was more of "only one side knows and has to woo the other".

Furthermore, the whole premise of "scattering IQ" completely goes up into smokes. It's more like "mission in every world", which wouldn't be bad! ML falls in love with MC almost immediately and wakes up from his stupor; there's really no difference between ML before IQ and ML after IQ. It bothers me how far off from it's initial premise it is; the author should've set it up differently.

And I wish they were a reversible couple... hehehe am I rotten? uh-oh
(there's definitely no bed scenes in this story though, it's a "they jump into bed and then it's morning")

All in all, pretty good. I especially like the way MC is teasing ML in the ancient dynasty story haha (MC is def lil S while ML is more than a lil M) <<less

Very cute. Has the right amount of possessiveness.

This novel is the first for me to read about the system getting abused by the MC instead of the other way around. Which is quite nice. It's not the wrong type of abuse though don't worry.

I love that the MC is super stubborn and likes things his way. Sometimes it can be adorable.

Spoiler

The MC wanted a soul finder tool to see if the ML soul in the 2nd world was his lover. In the 1st world but it cost the MC points he gained from completing tasks. MC was upset that he was like "give it to me or I'll leave the world." The way I explained it sounds spoiled and s*upid but it was cute to read. The system wants to cry in a corner and draw circles lol and gave the MC a 90% discount LOL. In the end, what was supposed to cost 20, 000 was 2, 000. Under the MC stubbornness.

I like how deep they love each other. At first the MC was a cold person but once he fell inlove it became a beautiful thing.

I don't know about others but I really love this. For now it's right next to qwtfod for me. The feelings between the MC and the ML are so deep. I love the ball too. Usually I feel that the worlds in quick transmigration novels are almost the same with just a slightly different plotline like the zombie apocalypse world with the useless canonfodder or the abo world with the canonfodder who is the fiance of the ML who leaves him for the protagonist and blah blah blah. Although I... more>> like them it does get a little repetitive but this novel has different settings. <<less

I love this light novel! The MC is really badass and has a softvspot for the ML, and the ML is just too sweet to the MC!!!

WARNING: while reading this light novel you may show symptoms of:

- constantly thinking about the MC and ML

- checking everyday just to see if you missed a chapter or if it got released early

- fujoshi syndrome

Overall, it's not bad, but it could have been a lot better.

Despite the quick transmigration, I kept having a feeling like the side characters of each were too predictable/bland and two-dimensional, like just slightly different versions of each other, and the villains' motivations were also going towards the same direction every time. The MC also is the kind of character I don't really like, too gary sue and "everything my way or highway", seeing people as basically nothing (and I guess this could be excused as he, at a point,... more>> lived for thousands of years, but what about before that?), and everything that mattered to him in the worlds was romance and skip to the next world. It just became too bland for me.

It also bothered me that the story became way too focused entirely on the romance part and the "scattering IQ" was useless as the ML suddenly became smart just by seeing the MC or talking to him for a single day (or less). But it came to a point where I was straight up speed-reading and hoping for its end, and also didn't read the extras, so maybe there's an explanation for some of these things there.

Also, the System thing is completely useless. There are no rules. The System just trembles and does whatever the MC wants whenever he wants. "My way or highway, " I just said it.

After all, it wasn't my cup of tea. If you like it, go for it.

It can be seen that reading "Don't pick up boyfriends from the tr*sh bin" has put my standards on the sky and beyond. Go read it if you like actual different worlds with several kinds of different characters and a very good at what he does MC and ML without the gary sue and "nobody can touch me, ever" kind of setting. Very good. <<less

That was...a very abrupt arc 1 to arc 2. ... more>>
Spoiler

Unless there's missing chapters somewhere, it went from "cousins went to the amus**ent park while one feels ambiguous about the other" to "gee, MC has left the first world and both he and ML in that world died after agreeing to be together"

[collapse]
A couple later arcs also seem to end suddenly, but none as abruptly as that one.

Also, lol, the ball system definitely bit off more than it can chew with the MC xD

There's a little face slapping here and there, though some of it is caused by MC scheming the villains in order to not be bored.

The ML is pretty sweet, overall.
Spoiler

He's a bit s*x crazed like most bl ml's, but he also holds himself back if he thinks it will truly hurt the MC, and is almost always thinking of the MC, even a bit before he actually remembers him. And in one of the arcs from the ML we get the (nonspoken) line of "I will never let anyone hurt you, not even myself."

[collapse]

Interesting too is that, after they meet in the first arc, I feel like the ML is a lot smarter than the MC thinks he is.

I also like the thought: "Sometimes, human minds are so odd. Just a slightly different angle and everything seems different." Even without the context of the story, it's an interesting thought.

Going into the last arc is also super abrupt. But I loved that
Spoiler

it kinda seems like their first meeting in the first world, but in reverse xD

[collapse]

Oh? I knew it was a soul collection mission after the first arc, but didn't realize
Spoiler

it was more directly like Return of the Lord God. Now that I think of it, the two stories have a lot in common. s*x crazed ml, smart MC, different worlds collecting soul shards...

I wanna rate it but I haven't finished it yet, but as of the 3rd word I am beginning to feel irritated at the MC's action, thoughts and deeds.

Thinks he's overbearing but he is not, but he really is petty.

MC, just a wife s*ave husband accompanying his lover to another world.

Female protagonist, low IQ
