Thanks for the question. Currently reporting live from the Han Dynasty… Just stepped out of the time machine and am still a little dizzy.

If you had asked me this question before I transmigrated, I would’ve laughed at you for being ignorant. Chen Ajiao having a son? Nonsense! But now… sigh. Some authors will really write anything just to get popular.

If anyone out there wants to experience what it’s like to have a father scheming day and night depose his empress, and a mother scheming just as hard to topple the crown prince, honestly, you’re welcome to take my place. Seriously.

First, Empress Chen Ajiao has been reborn.

Second, the current Crown Prince is my elder brother, Liu Ju.

Third, my biological mother is actually a lesser consort from the inner palace.

It's been 2 months since I read this novel I thought there might be reviews... anyways I have been searching novels similar to this one cuz I love infrastructure development, politics, Royal family drama etc... it's my cup of tea

Anyways this novel is fantastic..I love the MC, ML the emperor, empress, crown Prince and I love the relationship between the emperor (father) and MC (the princely son) I didn't see the hateful emperor here even tho the emperor is obsessed with immortal stuff and thinks MC also came from or... more>> learnt from them he is actually a very good emperor who cares for his people and sons but his judgement in helping MC always backfires cuz of the ppl he chooses

MC- he is a prince of the han Dynasty (this novel taught me lot of chinese history) of emperor Wu of han... MC is a university student who studies history who got transmigrated to ancient dynasty as prince.. at start he lived in marquis residency cuz of his birth something telling that he is against the palace or something idk I forgot some details about this anyways when he enters the palace he is the legitimate empress's son

and the greatest talent or skill of MC is finding minerals veins like gold, copper, coal etc etc like he points at any land and it has some minerals Buried in it.. he is like god of wealth is this wht they call transmigrater's privilege anyways he is intelligent, beautiful, wealthy and he quickly came in terms with his feelings for ML after he goes north but they r way too busy to meet and there is also the different status, countries constraints

ML - When it comes the ML he is straightforward like he confessed his love for MC like very early otherwise out MC would have been oblivious.. but as ML is from another country which is not allied nor a vassal state of the Dynasty they had to be secretive when they got together but idk whether to say it's a slow burn or lack of romance like the author completely forgets it's a bl novel and only brings ML sometimes like v r in same position as MC - he can't nor we can see ML but I atleast expected to see ML in extras but too bad

Emperor - was intrested in MC at start but as time goes by v can see his affection for MC and his sons but some turn out to quite the unfilial backstabbers but he is quite swayed by the immortality stuff (now I understand y all chinese emperors were obsessed by immortals n immortality) and MC always exposes those scammers and I personally love this emperor... After reading all those idiotic muddleheaded emperors this emperor is quite cute (?)

Crown Prince - MC has a great relationship with his brother and their relationship is quite harmonious idk y some outsiders can't see it he is good brother and he only likes MC as a brother rest all are his competitors

Empress - gosh she is such a audacious women not in a bad way but damn

she cheated on the emperor for god's sake as she was not able to have children for a long time so she had a daughter with another man and she switched her daughter with MC and then sent MC out

she is quite good to MC and she and emperor r like bickering couples but with same temperament so they can't stand each other's and she was also reborn but the author didn't explain that part

Coming to the plot as u can see in the title it's all abt development infrastructure..... MC grew grapes, made paper, chose a northern territory as is fief which no one wanted invented concrete, horse saddle, built city walls developed his territory, fought with invaders, built army, suppressed rebels, mined minerals, became rich etc etc... it's all about building up, earning money, taking care of his ppl, militry etc etc although the romance exists but not so much it might be some ppls cup of tea like me or if u r coming specifically for romance I'm sorry but u will be disappointed but it's a great novel I highly 200% recommend it <<less
