It seems like the translator is trying to boost this novel's rating for whatever reason, but I m about to put this one where it belongs, in the garbage can.

The concept is quite original. The guy is going to be a target in an otome game from what I understood which might be interesting because the MC in that kind of story is usually a girl. The biggest problem of this novel is the main character. When I am reading an isekai, I am trying to immerse myself in the story and there is nothing worse than a character that keeps making "jokes" like his power is 9000 or that says he read other webnovels and this is what he is supposed to do... yeah making your choices depending on some webnovels you read. That some big brain right there. Btw why aren t you laughing he said his power is 9000! you get it s supposed to be funny, cause it s from dragon ball haha so funny dude.

If that doesn t bother you, then the way how he acts is surely gonna get on your nerves. Have you ever wondered what an incel looks like? Then check out this badass. He gets rejected by a girl he liked, but he didn t confess to her (she mistook him for someone else). He says it doesn t bother him and I m like euhh ok cool... annnnnnd he starts complaining about her and he keeps doing it even after he got isekai. He says she is a b***h and how he is gonna find better than her, because now he is rich and has a better apperance. Oh yeah I almost forgot about that, he is weirdly obssesed about being a chad as he likes to call himself because of his new apperance and he gets a boner when he réalisés that he is the son of a noble which is supposed to make his life easier. He almost makes you think that he sould ve been reincarnated as a s*ave.

Seriously though, within 3 chapters, the MC comes off as a lazy, petty and pathethic dude who has a complex about his former apperance and his lack of appeal to the opposite gender.

The way how this is translated doesn t help. I m not that good in english, but I can recognize a story that s well written. I tried to read it, but I couldn't. You see words like chad used and it feels like you re reading something written by a child. Just read the first few chapters and you will see by yourself. <<less

I originally thought this would be one of the most typical straight out of the otome book trope while reading the synopsis.. But it was completely different, MC is super eccentric but it's not like he's an idiot, he's rational, and atleast very much better than most silly otome protagonists which somehow are able to remember everything as he doesn't even know about the otome plot!!

I hope it doesn't go downhill as I really like the comedic undertone and I wish the MC's behavior won't change too much in the future chapters.

First off, the protagonist is not smart. This may be a deterrent for some readers, but for the most part, it doesn't really lead to cringe (except for his initial expectations of just having a cheat from the outset without any indication for it, but that's only a few chapters).

Instead, I've found it refreshing to have a protagonist who doesn't try to outwit his opponents in obscure ways that the reader can't deduce due to a lack of information. Overall, I've found the novel very enjoyable up to this point, with plenty of flag crushing and raising, but unlike most otoge reincarnation novels, the MC is completely and utterly ignorant of the meaning of his actions in the context of the game. In many novels, the MC has an acquaintance playing the game or has at least heard of it, but in this case he doesn't know anything at all. Reincarnators with this perspective are usually only extras, but it's nice to have something like that as a protagonist for a change.

The story develops at a reasonable pace without excessively dwelling in an infancy period (the characters are about 7-9 years old at this point) and a lot of it is properly foreshadowed rather than relying on surprise developments without harbingers. Deducing portions of the scenario ahead of time has been fun so far, though it's not particularly difficult.

The novel offers some light entertainment without contrived conspiracies and intrigues like some other novels, but doesn't require you to shut off your brain entirely to enjoy the story. <<less

this novel is actually quite interesting, MC doesn't have any op power, he's not a genius, and got no harem. The plot is quite average but the romance part is good, the MC is reincarnated in otome game world, and he is one of the capture target but he didn't realize it, he just thought that he is reincarnated in isekai as a normal aristocrat boy without cheat power.

He is just normally living his life without realizing that he differ from the game script, there are other reincarnated people, the villainess and the game heroine, the villainess doesn't want to die and reach the bad end, the heroine want to get a reverse harem, and the MC who didn't realize that he is an otome game capture target is loving another girl.

And the story split between those 3 POV, I still can't believe that I miss this series, the romance part is really good, I like romance genre where the protagonist dedicate his love to one heroine, so this one is totally my recommendation

The story is unique, and I really love the MC. He's not OP on sword or magic or any fighting ability bit he's good at being an ikemen (handsome cool guy), and somehow the comedic things really strike on me and make me laugh all the time.

You guys might try the manga first to visualize things easier and help you skip some of the slow paces in the beginning.

I have to agree with the translator and the others (aside from that one dude disliking Cnine liking the novel he/she translates) that this novel is freaking awesome. I have so much fun reading the novel since it has a very light-hearted, warm, and funny flow from the MC's perspective. The plot is very well made that I felt so bumped waiting for the next chapter. Definitely recommend others to read this if they want to read something heart-warming like this one.

Still early to rate it but it appears to be really interesting, the fella below seems to have some sort of complex against people liking something but that's his own business to mind.

I wouldn't say its that bad or good. At first I thought there was potential but as the story goes on I've started to lose interest.

The MC is really just an average guy reincarnated with a good face. His character is made to be a bright, cheery, kind, & got flower fields in his head. Which would come back to bite him in the later chapters. But by the lack of MC's development his likeability is a meh. another reincarnated person is portrayed as smart yet from all of the INACTION just because she believes it's an otome game world & she's afraid of a nonexistent corrective force makes all things go wrong, she had authority (as a duke's daughter), power (as a supposed saint which can prophesize), she just chose to babysit all the otome game target captures. Even when she knew that the heroine is a cliche tr*sh heroine, she did not even do anything, not even sending someone to monitor her to stop her from making dumb choices (which btw happened) even when she knows that there is a bad ending route.

Well author made the decision to have her make dumb decisions so we can have a story but her inaction really irritates me.

The Demon King (Antagonist) & Co. are so-so, author even tried to give them a tragic backstory but doesn't really give enough to sympathize after all they've done. And I'm too s*upid to think of plausible reason why he is doing things in a so roundabout way.

All in all my evaluation of him is a kid that lost his justifiable reason of revenge, so he is just throwing a tantrum everywhere. It's an otome isekai with a well thought-out lore that keeps you interested at the very least.

I like to think it as Otome Mob-lite but with a well respected MC.

Firstly, I'll admit the first 4 chapters start off with really s*upid references, but as time goes on the story starts to stand on it's own. With that in mind the story gradually gets more detailed and expresses the strangeness of the world from the POV of the main character with incomplete knowledge of his surroundings.

Light, fluffy waste of time.

Normally I like long expositions, but this, this is a long drawn out torture. The monologuing provides no meaningful insight into the world, abilities, or even the character. It’s just typical Japanese ln MC. I hate dropping novels so I endured till ch19 but no more.

A crime against humanity? No, but certainly not great by any means. Not my cup of tea.

If you can get past the first 5-6 chapters where the MC is just one big chunnibyou, its actually quite a heartwarming, fluffy, feels good novel. MC is actually quite intelligent albeit clueless in social situations but is able to figure things out after the fact.

Chapter 30 was quite sad.

Half-assed novel. It's not particularly funny, the MC and the adults are unintelligent and/or unreliable. There is nothing that catches your eye after 11chapters.

I do not understand why this novel has such good ratings, considering how empty it is.

Sorry but this novel is a waste of time... and not the good kind.

At first the writing was still good (around chapter 30ish) and then suddenly decided that a higher word count was better.

A lot of unnecessary parts were extended while necessary ones were shortened. The writer is literally writing based on its premise so I don’t feel that this is a good story either.

The MC is meh.

I know MC got truck-kuned at some young age, but the way he is acting after being reincarnated is somewhat disappointing. May be I got obsessed with OP MC stories lately, but this is, by far, the only story that got me angry while reading MC actions throughout the story. It got better later down the line?? I hope so.
