In the summer of my first year of elementary school, I confessed to my childhood friend, Karen, within two minutes of coming across her.

Many years have passed since then, and I am now in my second year of high school. As of now, I’ve confessed my feelings to her 9999 times. Every time, I was rejected. But, I didn’t give up, and so I made this 10000th time my last chance to confess to Karen.

“I’m sorry”

she rejected me right away! I finally gave up and started trying to find a new love. But then, Karen started coming onto me, and I started to get popular?! What? Why? The mentally strongest high school student will be born here! Most of the characters are idiots, but they all go through their youth in their own clumsy ways.

Love it. Romcom, misunderstandings, idiot kids (all loveable tho), bitter-sweetness to the extreme, and more. The only thing I find unbelievable is the number of times this boy confessed. He's 17 at the beginning of the novel and met his crush when he was 6, so we're looking at an average of 2.5 confessions per day. And he kept count. I wonder if he also took notes? Damn, dude.

Well this is quite the fun read for just how bad the main female screwed up. This is the romcom equivalent to digging your own grave and shooting yourself, while standing in such a perfect position to fall into the hole, landing in the coffin, the coffin closing and all that somehow triggering the earth you dug up to make the grave to just fall on top of the coffin. Yeah got nothing more to add here. It might deserve a 4 or hell even less, but I give it... more>> a 5 cause im entertained as hell XD.

Behold ladies this is what happens when you play too hard to get/ just leave a mab dry for 10 years. Dam kinda ironic that if he kept doing his thing for just slightly more than a year he would have succeeded. <<less

Eh... if someone confesses to you every god-damn day multiple times ever since you started school all the way to the cusp of adulthood, I would've filed for a restraining order and a lot sooner. Though it's good that he gave up on her, I don't like the fact that the main girl is shown in a bad light, like how she fuked up for not accepting the MC's proposal sooner etc.

Clearly this novel is not for me since I couldn't go past the ridiculous setting where this behaviour is... more>> encouraged by the author <<less

Ok so basically the story is that the MC is down bad for his childhood friend. The story makes a point that they're actually really close, like he eats with her family every day for pretty much every meal. Yet for some reason it makes it seem, from his point of view, that she can't stand him. Not even that far in and you find out it's the typical tsundere trope.

So the premise gets thrown out the window when you find out why the girl has been rejecting the MC.... more>> I think the author was trying to make it out to be a cute but silly thing. However all it does it cement that the characters in this story lack common sense.

The MC's inner monologue makes him come off as a spaz. Which is popular for some reason, but in this story it just comes off as weird. Like his thought process is so random and takes me out of the story.

The main heroine's at least realizes that what she did, doesn't make any sense. However she doesn't just immediately fix the misunderstanding, Which of course just makes it worse for herself.

The first side heroine immediately seizes the chance to go on the rebound, and the way the MC reacts to her provocation doubles down on the idea that he's a total spaz.

The second side heroine also immediately seizes the chance to try and score a rebound. Though not for genuinely wanting to date him, so apparently she's also a spaz, the MC proceeds to treat her like a kid while agreeing to do her second request. Like what?

I... I just can't Bro. <<less

The story is quite interesting. The initial story is almost similar to "Yume Miru Danshi" where the MC always confesses to the girl he likes. The difference is MC here gave up on his love. The continuation of the chapter is good enough to wait.

Honestly.... I originally thought this was kinda a tragic start where there way a boy who confessed way too much to the point that it was annoying and a girl who was annoyed so often by the confessions that she couldn't even realize her feelings...

But then, no, the author then gives a super s*upid reason for why she rejected him....

Like, wtf??? I actually understood the rejections before that moment. He confessed way too much and gave her no space. What he did was basically harassment.... 11 years of harassment....

So it's... more>> normal for her to not notice the devotion.... it's also normal for her not to notice her own feelings....

This would have been amazing writing with an MC who confessed too much and a girl who understandably was just too annoyed to realize her feelings.

But then.... no.... they make it that she actually knew her feelings and was just a f***ing ret*rd who was too dumb to accept his confession....

Like, it went from complex and deep to loser wish-fulfillment... like, all of the sudden it became HER fault that everything was bad.

Like the author is saying that if a girl doesn't accept a guy's confession, she's an idiot...

The premise went from tragic with an MC not realizing why he didn't get the girl when he easily could have if he just gave her space, to the girl being an unnatural ret*rd..... <<less

Not an exceptional story, mostly generic, and very wish fulfillment (unrealistic). Most of the fMC's have no reason to like the MC, and he seems like an ordinary guy, but you know what, if you don't think about these things and just absorb the sugar in the story, you'll enjoy it (that's what I did). So if you're looking for some sugar supply that you can consume while turning your brain off, you should read this (no drama or stuff like that, just sugar and wish fulfillment)
