I've been keeping up with this just to watch the bit*h ex fall ever further, and to be fair, fall she did. However, as of chapter 50 or so, she's also been trying to find a way to weasel her way back into his life after she realized she needs MC after all.

Spoiler

As of this most recent chapter she actually managed to meet him, but with Yoo Hana and and the other S rank chick (whose name I don't know how to spell so I won't even bother) already present. The ex even pretends she doesn't know him, and for some reason, he plays along. I don't know why or how he got this idea in his head that his 2 S rank bosses knowing they dated is a bad thing, and that something bad will happen to him. If anything, them knowing what she did to him would be good for him since they would start slinging public insults at her, thus achieving exactly what he wanted, which is ruining her reputation. Two S ranks making public accusations on his behalf would accomplish that, and you'd think he'd be able to recognize that, but this MC is a total moron. It's no wonder he got played by the conniving ex so effortlessly.

To reiterate my opening statement, I've been keeping up with this to watch the ex fall to ruin, but only for that, since the main story line is just such a shitshow. Now that the 2 plots have converged, and the entertaining one is gonna be worse for it, I'm gonna have to drop this here. <<less

I am... in general agreement with the other reviews. This series is by no means good, or even mediocre. The main plot lines a mess that seems to change direction with very little prompting, the main twist are all executed in a sub-par way and the characters are bland and honestly really off putting. I've really only been reading this out of 1) boredom, because a lot of the other works I read aren't updating at a fast enough pace for me and 2) to, as another reviewer said, see... more>> the ex girlfriend fall from grace, something thats being dragged out for nonsensical reasons rather than the actual cohesive reasons the story could've used. Still, it's entertaining if you're truly out of things to read like I am, and this series has become a bit of a guilty pleasure of mine. I may end up dropping it soon, however, as the main characters becoming more and more of an actual as*hole as the author tries to make him seem "cool" and "domineering" in the worst way possible (mostly by having the women around him have actual fing psychotic mental breakdowns if they don't have 110% of his attention 24/7). 3 stars solely because it's filled the gap of a fast release schedule other series haven't. <<less

The writing style makes for difficult reading. The approach in different, and might even have potential to make for an interesting change of pace, but it's very poorly executed here.

Normally I would read much father before giving up on a story with potential, but the biggest potential I found with this story in the increased number of headaches I got from trying to decipher what was happening.

One of the most mind-numbing novels I've read on this site. Author has no idea how he wants to advance the plot so he uses dialogue and inner monologues to run around in circles. In 17 chapters, only one significant event, other than the betrayal, ... more>>

MC saving his new guildmates during a dungeon break

has occurred. This was back in chapter 7. Every single chapter since then has been the peanut gallery glazing him over this event. Literally random people with no names are coming up to the MC just to praise him for what he did for 10 straight chapters. They aren't even saying anything new either, just regurgitating what's already been said in a slightly different way. Never in my life has such a simple plot point been shoved down my throat so repetitively (pause).

Another big issue is that there is no explanation for how powers, dungeons, skill points, levels, status ailments, or any other game elements works. This leaves a ton of plot holes and inconsistencies. If the author replaced just 10% of the words spent glazing with simple explanations about the setting, this novel could've been decent. Instead we are left this hot garbage. <<less
