It was a cute and silly story about an immature young shou and his devoted older gong. And then the last chapter happened and it wasn't so cute anymore. In retrospect, there were red flags flying across each chapter.

That one paragraph in the last chapter really did it for me. The ML was already weird for the past 4 chapters and it just basically explained everything.

ML apparently locked up MC for half a year, causing depression and attempted su*cide. Wow. Sure, he got therapy but his tendencies ARE STILL THERE. He limits his allowance DESPITE being a working adult (and all the money goes to ML) and he is either at home or at work for ML to keep track of him. MC on the other hand,... more>> is as paranoid as ML. He gets angsty when he doesn't call or suspects ML of cheating. Its the Stockholm Syndrome in the works.

Also, ML's parents questions why MC still stays with ML but proceeds to say that "well, we really can't understand what youngsters think nowadays". So scary to think that they are just letting this happen in front of them. <<less

How didn't I see the Male Yandere tag but had saw the Stockholm syndrome tag first...?

So yeah, it wasn't bad story, but it sure has darker side. ML is Yandere while MC act like Tsundere sometimes.

I don't think there's real plot in here. Just about daily life wanting to divorce and failed. The wanting to divorce is not serious thing either. And the ending is Great.

Very short, very sweet. A different sort of MC. A different sort of ML even though he does check the usual yandere/ overbearing/ protective check-boxes.

Light hearted comedy about a gong and shou. They are sticky sweet <3

A sweet fluffy story. But abit flash back of their sweet love there a black history there. (Yup some dark theme stuff) but it a very short story, so it was just a small summary. The rest of the chapters are mostly silly fluff. Its a good short read.

This novel is good and sweet. I really like how the story is organized the way it is... the order how it was unfolding. Main characters overcame difficult time of their relationship together, made mistakes, readjusted, apologized, expressed their love and cherished the other.

I recommend this novel because of the story. Reading the translation from chapter 3 to the end was a bit painful though. Thank you Translator for picking up to complete this worthy short novel...I believe your work'd get better with time and effort.
