The best way to sum up my experience with this novel is the fact that after ch200 I started skipping somewhere between 10-50 chapters at a shot and never felt like I missed anything though I did think at times I was reading a different novel.

No spoiler, the novel starts out as a cultural revolution setting with a switched at birth/second chance theme. Then it gets weird and you have the whole educated youth, Maoist great mistake setting being switched with an interstellar capitalist empire setting. What, how, no idea... more>> but it's annoying.

The characters are equally bad. The MC is an overpowered but uninteresting Mary Sue that goes from vengeful Karen to virg*n Mary in a blink of an eye. Everyone around her is rather one dimensional.

The only good thing about the story is the writing flows well. It's very readable and until you hit one of the ridiculous plot points very immersive.

Bottom line: It's better than a cereal box. <<less

Hey ya'll, just going to mention my views about this novel here.

I'm at chap 586 right now, and the progress is still slow.

I'm damn frustrated that after reading over 500 chapters in 2 days, this is what I end up with.

The bull*hit talk about "not breaking the law" and "having a bottom line" is nonsensical since the FL was tortured by stepmother since a young age. Someone like that should just be tortured and killed in my opinion. Even the ML is just "feeling bad for her" and wants to ensure that "she doesn't get bullied anymore."

So, there's a lot of broken logic in this novel that makes it an unsatisfying read, I mean, I don't think its worth 500+ chapters worth of content in the story.

I do agree that its well written, the character's do seem to have their own background, but most of them are extremely good/bad, not something I can relate to.

Now for the bad stuff.

The novel mentions "cosmic soldier, " "planets, " and so on. But they travel from place to place in a freaking "bus" and "train"?

The is no proper world building, and it seems that even strong military families can't kill the "innocent" stepmother of the FL. The planet/city/village terms are not properly used. The beginning of the novel, they use village/city. Then they switch to planet. I mean, wth!

So, a good novel to read to pass time, don't expect a logical plot or a satisfying read overall.

Goodness, the plot is so slow, booooooooooring, 73 chapter and nothing noteworthy really happened. And I'm personally has a ML phobia, so once all chapters start including the ML that I can't skim his scenes without ruining the story, I have to drop it.

It's not bad. The romance is really cute, and her past life is really tragic. It's a military novel based in I have no idea when but it seems like the 80s.

The title is really accurate, she is totally a female protagonist, she's got a huge heroine halo. She attracts men's attention since she's drop dead gorgeous and has a heroine's personality. She was switched at birth and her foster mom treated her like tr*sh while her bio family is really powerful but the girl she was switched with absolutely... more>> despises her and is the main antagonist. She's got a golden finger. She's got a perfect temperament and is hard working. Since she was reborn she still has the skills she developed and knows other people's nature, and she's smart. She's your traditional heroine but the novel in itself is pretty good. I wouldn't say it is unique but it's good to kill some time, better than other shoujo/josei novels in webnovel, I don't think I'll keep on reading it though. <<less

Someone else said this, but seriously what is the setting for this story? It seems like it's in space because "planet" and "space pirates" are used, but sometimes it seems like it's in 80s China??? There's sci-fi elements like special boats and technology, but there's also mythical beasts and supernatural stuff too??? Author, do you even remember what world you made. If you do, please explain it to me because I don't understand from the story. :')

I think I stopped reading because there wasn't really a plot anymore? They handled the family drama, went on multiple adventures, the side characters started pairing up, and then... IDK where the story was going, so I dropped it. Still, I did enjoy large chunks of what I did read (even if the genre/setting was all over the place). <<less

I like the story cos its slow but satisfying.

The only thing I hate is the ML, like wtf is wrong with him? Kinda annoyed with the ML, I sometimes wanna sue him, but I still love the story.

There are some plot holes, but its tolerable. Some of the 'sweet' parts of the story are against my principles, its too misogynistic. But I really still love the story.

I need spoiler in here. It's super frustrating that the progress was so slow and even though the main characters are good and intelligent, it's still not enough for them to find out who is the real mastermind of all things that happened to them. The FL is a little bit Mary sue character and is not that fierce. I just happened to endure reading until this part because I want to see her revenge on the impostor who also killed her in the past life but I don't think she can do it. <<less

I completely agree on the comments of wonyoung, this isnt really a novel with depth. The MC is very OP that its hard to advance the plot in a detailed and interesting way. But it´s still a good read, if you just want to kill time.
