It’s nice and sweet of how two good people in the old times get married. Like there wasn’t much drama, no face slapping, just two people treasuring each other. The story might be a little too good to be true and optimistic, but for some reason I don’t mind rereading going once in a long while

I read the first 4 chapters in translation and finished it in MTL. Cute and Heartwarming story.

It's short and sweet and you can't help but say this is it? WHYyyYyyY???!! (;´༎ຶД༎ຶ`) The MC is likable the ML is doting and misunderstandings are gone so quick you father couldn't even say he's going out to buy milk.

10/10 for a quick read, a toothache inducing sweetness and a trouble free read, my mind can rest at ease.

An undervalued younger son of a merchant's concubine loves from a distance the scholarly upright betrothed of his brother. His position in his family is meager with only his mother's love to support him. He spends his days avoiding abuse at home by working in the single tiny embroidery shop he was given by his father. His brother was given sixteen.

All of this leads to a sugary sweet and kind romance between two decent people. The world and secondary characters are thin but support the story. Our two leads have interesting backstories and personalities.

If you are in the mood for a short sweet story of love I recommend this story.

This is such a sweet story, but it's not just fluff. It's about learning to value yourself, the value of kindness over wealth, and how to not get complacent or only judge based on the status quo (since nothing is guaranteed in the future).

I love the trust in the main relationship, and how they help make each of other better. It's such an ideal of what to aspire to in a romantic relationship.

This is a wonderful read. The way it was written made the pacing of the story seems slow, but it's actually not slow at all. It's because the atmosphere is so mellow and full of warmth that it seem so slow and easy-going (if that even make sense) 🥺, idk it's just my personal feeling.

Their interactions are always sweet, fluffy and mellow. I love it so much. Honestly, ML is such a wonderful person. He's warm, gentle and polite, not just to MC but towards other people as well. This is so great. It portrayed his identity as a scholar very well. To tell the truth, my heart melted into a puddle reading this. 😭❤️ The ML is too much to my taste! The MC is also very dedicated and loyal. Although he's timid, he can also become strong when it's time to protect those he loves, such as his mother and ML. The fact that he never keep any secret from ML is truly the best. It saves them from any unnecessary dramas and misunderstandings. They will definitely live well together. Thre's nothing complicated with the story, very simple and the flow is just right. It's a feel good novel, if you need a break from noir or tragic novel, then this one is highly recommended.

I like the relationship of our ML and MC, they trust and love each other unconditionally. The "accident" brought them together and there's just fluff after that.... more>> The MC's a sweetheart and the ML's a gentleman and a very doting partner.

Although, I want more chapter or extra chapters but thinking about it, I am still satisfied after reading the last part. Oh well, some good things come in small packages and this is one of them!

A nice read. It's what a story could be without all the fuss and dogblood drama.

It's easy to read without any complication in the story.

In the end I liked it more than 'long' novels we alrady read on the site.

Fluffy and wonderful. The plot isn't heavy, but it's also not boring at all. The story is rather short at 15 chapters, but oh my god, there's more characterization to these characters than some novels that are 150+ chapters. Read this if you need to heal your heart.

Short and sweet. Despite the name that reminds me of a certain horror film LoL. Only 15 chapter, I wouldn't mind reading more of MC & ML story, but alas, there's no more, not even extra.. MC is a lovely, sweet concubine son, ML is a gallant, gentle scholar. I'm happy that MC's insufferable half brother is rarely mentioned in the story. No one needs to suffer his presence after all. A quick read that is so sweet it makes your teeth ache.
