Hello, the translator of the novel here. Having just resumed the series after over 2 years of hiatus, I felt obligated to write a review for this novel and anyone who happens to find it after such a long time. It's a cute and heartwarming story that also tackles topics such as past trauma and family complications. The heroine and protagonist both start off as socially awkward, but slowly warm up to be comfortable around each other, sharing their hobbies and experiences.

In true otaku fashion from our characters, the entire... more>> novel is filled with cultural references and it is wonderful to anyone whose knowledgable in those aspects. The heroine is very very cute, both in her gestures and her being unaccustomed in Japan, leading to some pretty hilarious sequences. It also seems that the author wrote the first volume with the intent of making a second volume, as it foreshadows and sets up pieces of background information that hints to our characters being more connected than they had expected.

Overall, this novel is still a good read for those looking for a slow story with characters that learn to embrace their true feelings. If there ever is a second volume, I'll be happy to translate it as it'll give much more depth to the story. Thank you for those who have kept this novel on their reading list, and I'll try my best to give the story the translation it deserves.

Spoiler

If you're looking for a predominate novel about V-Tubers, then this unfortunately wouldn't satisfy you; the V-Tuber portion is only in the prologue and slowly begins in the later chapters. They'll probably delve deeper into it if there ever is a second volume, but the cover of the light novel is admittedly a bit misleading.
