I'll keep this short because there's nothing to this story.

The novel could have been finished in two chapters if the characters would have acted like actual people in their late 20s.

MC: "Are you in love with person X?" - ML: "No, I've always loved you."
ML: "Are you in love with person Y?" - MC: "No, I've always loved you."

Done, story finished.

Both behave like they are teens, there's no communication, MC spent their whole marriage pretending to be like someone else because of a misunderstanding that happened over 10 years ago, ML has been acting cold because of another misunderstanding from around the same time.

It's nice that more writers start to use older characters, but not when their stated age is the only difference between them and high-schoolers, especially when at least one of them is a highly successful businessman.

Adults are not children with bigger bodies, they act, think, feel and operate very differently, if you use adult characters then, please, write them like adults.

I'm tired of this kind of disappointment.

I don't know how to explain it to myself, it's a little complicated to find a way to summarize this novel. In short, it has too many ridiculous misunderstandings, and the author does not deal with them quickly but rather postpones and postpones them as a way of prolonging the drama, which is quite tiring, it makes you not want to read no matter how many romantic interactions there are between them. the two protagonists throughout the chapters, and when the culprit of all the misunderstandings is finally revealed, the... more>> ML's cousin, the least the reader expects is that the MC and the ML make his life impossible, but they don't, great disappointment...

There is also the fact that all the misunderstandings seem to originate from the s*upidITY of the MC, it was he who s*upidly did not confess in person but instead gave the confession letter to the ML's cousin, it was he who asked for a divorce just because he saw a photo, he was the one who canceled their big, extravagant wedding and changed it for a small one without asking the other person anything (It's also your wedding, the other has the right to their opinion), just because he heard something from the ML's cousin, and so on, basically anything they told him He would believe it and would never confirm it personally before acting, he would just act like an idiot over and over again, making impulsive decisions, such as blocking and completely isolating himself from ML, just because the cousin said he liked someone else. The ML's cousin is not even a close friend of the MC, so why does he listen to him so attentively? There's no answer! The author never says it! The only explanation the reader can get from the story is that the MC is a complete idiot with no mind of his own. In this sense I very much agree with the previous comment, adults think and act differently than children, they are not children with larger bodies, the MC's way of acting does not correspond to that of an adult, not even with the of a teenager, it is simply that of a child, a small child!, and what is worse, a s*upid child! There are children who are very intelligent and perceptive, the MC is not... <<less
